You need to have Seduction of 5 and keep hitting those seduction options. When she tells you to call her VV, you are on the right track. Also - during the mission to kill the stripper make sure every other person is gone - that is 2 customers and the other stripper.

Pick whichever clan sounds most interesting to you, read their descriptions or do the in-game quiz. if you have a fuck ton of humanity you can have sex easy, but for most vamps you actually have to use bloodpoints to get the job done, so its work rather than pleasure and nothing ever feels as good as feeding so why bother, vamps just dont have sex on the brain like many mortals do.

Tremere are fun to the point of being gamebreaking. Bloodform protects you from 90% of damage, Blood Purge is a great AoE spell, Blood Salvo restores your bloodpoints for free and Blood Boil is essentially a one-hit-kill.
Not to mention combining that with other disciplines like Dominate.
You can run the entire endgame using Blood Salvo/Bloodboil alone.
Clan Quest Mod also give the Tremere access to Obfuscate. Because Tremere weren't broken before.

I guess Ventrue can be super tanky which is nice but they don't have much damage potential, Dementation and Dominate are cool but don't work on super natural stuff so you are only using it to breeze through humans which are easy as fuck anyways, and obfuscate is useless vs bosses and a lot of late game vampires have auspex, I feel like they have very shallow combat to make for their unique social stuff

just avoid Nosferatu and Malkavian and your good to go, go for something that suits your playstyle.

Nosferatu is a dedicated stealth run, many of the major npc's you need to interact with that arent vamps have funny dialogue to explain why they tolerate your presence, like you got hit by a bus or set on fire.

Malks have spoilers for the end of the game in their dialogues, among other things, it offers an insight into various factors that you probably wont want on a first playthrough.

Sex is not really an issue, the female feeding animation is pretty dope.

They aren't bad at all, but I feel like compared to Thaumaturgy, Animalism, Celerity and Protean its lackluster especially since it does nothing vs supernatural beings, Ventrue you can just be super tanky and Malkavian you can buff guns a lot with auspex but thats it really

Even if you jump over her attacks you still get hit, and the small creatures are sometimes too small for hits to bother registering - if you can even catch them.

Elephant has a plain straight and sturdy design. Dragon is more elaborate and decorative. Crane is twisted and delicate looking. The cat one has holes on it like what's on some cat trees for their elusivity.

It is, but you'll struggle unless you have high Celerity. Try holding tab to block her hits instead.

Nosferatu gets Potence and Gangrel has Fortitude/Protean which makes it easier, though they still struggle. There's a trick with them too, if you get level 2 Animalism you can spam Burrowing Beetle while meleeing which increases your damage a lot, but that's kind of obscure.

I'm pretty sure my first time I put all the statues on and when it didn't work I went back to look at the pedestals to match them up. I didn't just do trial and error until it worked. They even keep a symbol of the animal where you find the statues for when you go back to look at it.

First and foremost it's based off of atrocious V5. That's the most cardinal sin there is.
Also, less clans, bad gameplay, clunky writing and overall this "no fucks given" atmosphere seems to be gone. I am not putting my faith in writers personally - in order to write something at least comparable to VtMB you'll need better caliber of writers than the industry can provide nowadays.
And the writers didn't do themselves any favours when they almost immediately started sperging out about preferred pronouns, representation and putting personal politics into the game, before ever revealing what this game is all about.

This was my greatest problem with that video so far. But thankfully things like those are toggled with changing a single variable's value.

you don't need seduction to get the picture, i never put points into seduction and i usually get it as well as her poetry emails.
there are hidden affection levels for some NPCs, i think VV is one of them but i don't know for sure. so presumably you need to get her affection past a certain threshold and she'll send them to you when its time. i can only assume you could do this by not being rude to her, doing the stripper quest perfectly and not altering anyone, not asking "so you're a stripper huh?" or whatever that dialogue option is, calling her by the right name at the right time, not being super edgy if you killed julius, not letting her know you didn't kill julius if you didn't, maybe some other stuff too.

there just is not much to discuss about it right now. we haven't gotten much new info since the E3 show. the gamescom demo was just the same thing we saw at E3. the dev diaries (bloodlines2.com/en/news) have revealed extremely little new information. we've seen all there is to see of it so far.

when any of my friends get the game, i always recommend brujah, toreador, and tremere for newcomers. all really simple and fun, cover the 3 major builds (melee brujah, ranged toreador, and discipline tremere or ranged/discipline hybrid tremere, respectively). all of the other clans have something kinda too "off the wall" i would say for someone going in blind that might sour their experience.

IGNORE EVERYONE WHO TELLS YOU NOT TO PLAY MALKAVIAN OR NOSFERATU ON YOUR FIRST PLAYTHROUGH. PICK WHICHEVER YOU WANT.

Gender is irrelevant, except there are some differences in how a small few characters will react to you based on your gender (like a dude that hits on you if you're female or maybe the inverse if you're male) and IIRC each gender has a quest that can be solved an alternate way based on their gender. But it really doesn't matter beyond those extremely minor things that you might not even see. It has no effect on stats whatsoever.

Realistically? A select reel from a dozen or so recorded, offering the best overall quality. Ran in the most optimized environment, kind of "works on my machine" thing. Definitely high-end PC.

Every Camarilla vampire with Auspex and ability to feel changing auras like Gangrel or fucking Tremere will spot you from a mile away and go "Oh, that's a filthy diablerist - dust the fucker". And they won't care that some prince in Bumfuck Nowhere sanctioned you diablerizing an elder. At least that's how it worked before V5.

Diablerie can be detected in your aura is my understanding.

It's because it looks like total shit. It has none of the charm that made the original game so great. Run of the mill voice acting, boring character and environment design, dull color pallette, bethesda tier dialogue animations, no rpg spreadsheets and so on. It might be called Bloodlines 2 but it isn't what we want it to be. It's just going to be a very mediocre modern ARPG that nobody will remember a month after release.

Snowflake powerwankery aside, it's entirely possible that by the end protag invisibly bought up his willpower to 10 and Lacroix botched his dominate roll, so it is how it works if your dice want to tell a good story

My memoryy might be fuzzy, but IIRC the generations need to be on the same level to attempt the Willpower roll. If the person dominating you is lower gen than you, they succeed automatically, if higher, they fail automatically. Dominate always works against humans without exception.
So in order for it to work like that, the protag needed to bump his generation a notch lower. Or he was the same gen as LaCroix, but his willpower was really fucking shit and the game never told us.

Unarmed does affect your ability to grab guys in combat and drain them yes
I usually do melee+unarmed as using disciplines takes a lot of blood and eating guys in combat is useful
I also tried diablerizing every vampire I saw and the code didn't let me so good on them for thinking that through

1. Unarmed is decent when you pick a clan with Potence or Protean. It works especially well with Gangrel obviously. Otherwise melee is almost always a better option.
2. Yes - it allows you to catch the aware opponent more reliably.

I always play unarmed and high strength, it lets you just feed on anyone mid combat and smack the shit out of everyone

That would be incorrect, I dunno about 20th anniversary, but 1st, 2nd, and Revised you still have to roll every time you attempt. IF the user succeeds there's not much you can do without the Iron Will merit which is why you roll in the first place because it's so controlling
But yeah, you start with 1-5 willpower usually and the thing I always say to people when they build characters is "It is difficulty of your willpower to make you suck my dick, pick the number you feel most comfortable with" and thus they waste freebie points on that
Realistically speaking, werewolf gave a breakdown and said that most people fall somewhere between 2-6 willpower, and those outside of that range are pretty rare and dedicated to building up their mental resilliance, which usually happens over the course of a game
But yeah merits and flaws (theoretically) can be given out at will by the storyteller, so willpower, or Iron Will are both way more likely alternatives to magic non-diablerie gen lowering

You can also botch which prevents you from doing it again for some time
