SG is basically LA2 except the payoff in the middle of the game is way better. Plus the characters and interactions are way better

This is slow even by srpg standards. Just moving around and waiting for enemy turns, even if they do nothing, is really slow.

No. I'm not sure what specifically user means by slow, but Stella Glow is slow in every sense compared to other SRPGs. The damage to health ratio is low so it takes awhile for things to get taken out on each side where a lot of games might involve fast kills on each side. Maps aren't really made to be rushed around either and you end up spending a decent chunk of time in each one, while some games open up options to take faster routes through a map whether it's riskier or whatever. The animations take long to play through, where even the shortened versions that skip the longer scenes hold the game up for moments every attack, no option to skip them entirely like some titles have.
I have a certain personal love of the game but it's a slow game and a bad game as a fact.

How does this game compare to the Luminous Arc games?
