You become obsessed with one survivor. At the beginning of each trial, one hook will become reserved for your obsession. Hooking your obsession on the reserved hook will reveal the auras of all survivors within a 8/16/32 Meter range from the hook.

The wife suddenly goes missing while they are on a camping trip and the husband hears about strange disappearances in the area that lead him to rumors of another world. Perks would be:

You see the aura of survivors being chased within a medium range.

While inside the killer's terror radius for 30 seconds, the perk activates. The next hit you take for a survivor within a certain amount of time after activation stuns the killer and puts you into the broken state. Your aura is revealed to the killer for a short time after the stun.

I understand your concerns, but if I followed the source material too closely, Patrick would be an M1 killer where every M1 is an extended mori animation. I mainly approached the idea from a gameplay perspective in a way to make him unique from the other killers. I thought a mix of Legion and Doc style gameplay where he torments his victims with a nail gun before slugging them would be a good compromise. I just want Patrick in the game in some form.

I unironically really like Dead by Daylight and I think all the licensed killers are pretty well realized but I really want the dev team to keep making unique killers as well.
Almost all of their original killers are really cool and some of the best too. Clown, Nurse, Spirit, and Huntress are some of the best designed killers as well as being really thematic. (Despite not being very well balanced).
