i just started this, why are enemies two hit killing me.
Why do my weapons break so fast, I'm tempted to just avoid enemies.
I just started this, why are enemies two hit killing me
Because it's a shitty, poorly balanced game. You can heal instantly by pausing, which means that as long as you have food and enemies can't one shot you, you literally cannot die. But the game offsets this by making regular shitter enemies do a ridiculous amount of damage, so you have to farm for food and deal with the retarded cooking system if you want to engage in combat at all. One of the many flaws in this mediocre dumpster fire of a game
You need to play smarter.
Also you need to kill enemies to gather items.
Also the more you avoid, the harder the game gets.
Just don't get hit, pleb.
> What is Nintendo bonus
Imagine trusting what a bunch of paid shills thought of the game.
>MUHHHH NINTENDO BONUSSSSSS
Based
>the meme is real
kek
because you have 5 hearts and knight spears. Git gud.
The only good game on that list is Cuphead, and it didn't even get above 90%. This is just proof that the critics have no taste and/or are paid shills
3 years of tears
I remember when Gametrailers did nothing but shit on Skyward Sword and still gave it like an 8.4, then did nothing but praise Twisted Metal and gave it a 7.1.
>i just started this, why are enemies two hit killing me.
>Why do my weapons break so fast, I'm tempted to just avoid enemies
This. Even as someone who likes the occasional Nintendo game, if you can't see that their scores are ridiculously inflated then you're a fanboy with head up ass.
After we kicked gamergate out we all agreed that Jeff Keighley was the soul arbiter of game of the year get fucked, bigot.
the only enemies around are moblins that give 4 attack weapons. What's the point of killing them and wasting weapons that are better.
>don't want to clear every random camp
>higher tier enemies just soak up damage from low tier weapons
BOTW has a weird combat/gameplay loop that tends to be frustrating more than fun when you clearly do fuck all damage because you lack the right weapons.
Have you just never played a game that wasn't an action game or something?
Literally St playing games if you're losing to this game's retarded ai. The only ones that actually do anything are the Lynels. And even then they are predictable to the point that it just becomes a chore to fight at all cause the only thing the enemies have going for them is stupid amounts of hp.
My biggest issue is the controls, they are so fucking bad.
Literal casuals. Get off my board you insects.
genshin impact is better than any nip bullshit
Don't you have school tomorrow zoomie? You should get to sleep. You'll have plenty of time to play your shitty Ubisoft clone games this weekend.
imagine sucking so bad at a nintendo game kek
It's uncomfortable at first. Focus on finding shrines (will increase your hearts and stamina), make sure to find the first Great Fairy fountain (equip upgrades to buff your defense). It gets pretty cozy once you're down to 8 hearts and 6 stamina upgrades
nice try faget but ubishit sucks
Then why do you play BOTW? It's not as if it's any better or different than the average Ubishit game
Because base combat in BotW is shit and you're better off either making micro Rube Goldberg interactions or avoiding fights altogether if you want to have any actual fun. That's not to say basic combat isn't functional as it is, it just isn't fun.
Or you could dodge and counter attack. Just in case you don’t know casual user, jump any direction away from the enemy’s attack then you have a a huge opening to attack them. Or better yet if you have a shield you can parry their attack!! Hope this helps you get better at the game!
Or you could just play an actual fun game with good combat instead of this garbage.
Because BOTW isn't designed by ubisoft
It's inspired by Ubisoft though, which is almost as bad
No
Seethe, Nintendie
>Seethe, Nintendie
>getting hit
>in a Zelda game
I bet you upgrade hearts noob.
>why do my weapons break so fast
Its another resource to manage in combat, outside the usual health and stamina. You don't want to waste you precious good weapons on bokoblins so you have to consider your options more carefully and scavenge for something more suitable.
It also prevents you from finding a single good weapon, and just using it and nothing else until you find a better one. In an average BOTW playthrough you'll probably end up using every single weapon at some point, while in say: skyrim, you'll use 5 or 6 form a pool of 100s and sell the rest for scraps.
>nintendie poster is shitting up threads again
its incredible how someone can manage a posting style so condescending that you can pick them out from thousands of other people at a glance

Hack your system and use a trainer. Voila, the game now doesn't suck.
I think Super Weenie Hut Jr is more your speed
>why are enemies two hit killing me.
Because you have no defense. Go to Hateno and buy the Knight set and this will stop happening. Then keep upgrading after you find the fairies.
>Weapons break fast
Shit weapons break fast, you'll eventually get better weapons and they will last longer. Also don't just rely on a single weapon for a fight. Use Rune powers and your bow as well and you'll have weapons last much longer. Certain enemies die instantly in water. You really do have to fight smarter, not harder. Like if you freeze enemies, you'll do double damage on your next hit. So get an ice or blizzard rod. If enemies set themselves on fire, they will quickly burn their health away, even black tier enemies will die before they can put themselves out. If you use electric attacks on a metal object or in water, then it creates an sphere which deals huge AoE damage and makes all enemies drop their weapons. Sometimes even that's more then enough, rather then fighting an encampment, just get them to drop their weapons, steal them and run. Only you are holding yourself back.
>why are enemies two hit killing me
Because you're allowing them to hit you. Learn their attack patterns and dodge better. And learn to cook.
>Why do my weapons break so fast
All the weapons break fast at the start of the game. It gets better as you progress. Learn to use bombs to conserve weapons early on.
>I'm tempted to just avoid enemies
Nothing wrong with that. Don't feel like you have to fight every enemy you encounter.
Are you playing in Master Mode or regular? Because Master Mode is particularly brutal early on. At the start of the game you just burn weapons faster than you can kill blue bokos. You have to resort to some pretty cheap tactics.
Use the environmental hazards
I'm playing on my hacked switch, is there a way to give myself unbreakable weapons?
