you can sink a lot of time into RP WoW classic. Go into an RP server and just immerse yourself into that world. You can be whoever you want in that world, you don't have to think about your shitty life one bit while playing.

Divinity original sin 2 is excellent, it's a 10/10, it's got combat like Diablo which you listed and has an excellent plot/setting that's fantasy like elder scrolls.

Fallout New Vegas is great if you can get into it, and that's sort of like Skyrim.

If you liked half life id recommend left 4 dead 2, but only if you have a fun group of 2-3 others to play it with

Darkwood is awesome. Pathologic 2 as well, and EYE is always worth a play.

I'd recommend beating Nethack at least once in your life. It's wicked old, but still occasionally gets updates and is fairly complex for an ascii game.
