Ah. in that case it's definitely good tier in my opinion. Fairly generous with currency and it's an actual traditional JRPG story and gameplay, plus it's basically a spiritual successor to Chrono Trigger so you have lots of callbacks to it (i.e. a frogman named Cyrus, and the End of Time is pretty much the same void boardwalk.

For me it's Granblue

Why is Feh so low? I think it's pretty good and they're pretty generous with giving out orbs, units, etc.
It can be frustrating not getting what you want and so many really useful skills are locked to rare 5* characters but every gacha has their downfall.

There's certainly powercreep and it's hard to be a top player in the game because of it but old tried and tested units are still great. My +10 Nowi is still my go-to unit for clearing difficult content. Chadhardt is still dominant. Yeah some shit is annoying like razzle-dazzle healers like Veronica being bullshit and L!Azura is a pain but it's not that bad.

Girl designs are shit, gameplay while more action based still manages to not only be boring as sin but also mindless, the music and story has next to nothing there, the collabs are with abhorrent series like neptunia. I rode on that hype train for a year and it wasnt worth it. If you are asking why FEH is shit then you arent worth my time

Consider the following; how could new players compete with new players without units getting stronger over time? A veteran should already have a pretty strong line-up. This is how you can keep the game's population healthier instead of it fizzling out.

The only really fucked adventurer they've released is Gala Cleo, really. I'm hoping they tweak her a bit or make her more easily available.
Marth is very good, Fjorm is a meme character that deals a lot of damage thanks to her S2 being a counter but that's really her only mean of damage so she's terrible for longer fights, Veronica is decent.

You can clear literally anything in the game with pretty much any units. The fire emblem heroes collab limited adventurers used to be must have, until new adventurers rolled out that served as a nice alternative to the limited ones. Another limited adventurer, ieyasu, was the strongest dark blade, and you were out of luck if you didn't have him, yet nowadays you can roll a non-limited 5* dark blade that is just as good or even better than ieyasu.
Deagalia doesn't powercreep that hard, it just provides alternative options. The only thing where you absolutely want the tippity top tier of meta tryhard shit is Mercurial Gauntlet, and it doesn't even give anything worthwhile past lvl 40, which you can clear without tippity top rolls (the strongest must have unit for this thing is Elisanne, a literallyfree starting character)
You don't spend many resources on maxing put an specific character, unless you actually used up eldwater to max its mana circles from 45 up to 50, which is completely unnecessary, and actually unadvised unless you got a futureproofed top tier unit, or really like your waifu/husbando. Every other thing that goes into maxing adventurers is extremely easy to farm, and cheap as fuck, and all the other stuff are equippables, which you can reuse on literally any other adventurer, they aren't locked at all.

Any good puzzler type gachas other than Puzzle & Dragons? I didn't like that one much. I can't remember what it was called but I played one where you slide your units on a grid to pincer attack enemies and could trigger skill combos and such. I remember it came out with a sequel that had a shitty map to travel on and it just wasn't as good. I've been looking for something new to play. Ones that have an english version preferably. I don't care to bother with translation patches and all that.

Alternative options for Marth were repeased a couple of months afterwards, nowadays you don't even want to bring Marth to Mercurial Gauntlet past lvl 40, because he stops being useful at it. Fjorm is used for memes, her damage is subpar other than the meme counterskill she has. Veronica has been considered subpar since the very day she released, and she still is, you can wait for Gala (every 2 months) and roll for Gala Cleo who completely shits down Veronica's throat with how strong she is.
Marth as a 5* fire sword has little competition, the other fire swords aren't too good. Fjorm has huge competition from... Elisanne, a... 4* free unit? Elisanne is given to you at the start of the game, she's used more often than Fjorm, lmao. Veronica'a only competition as a dark wand is Kleimann, and Kleimann'a garbage, so she's only useful as being better than garbage, other than that she'a extremely underwhelming.
The other limited units are from other events, and while useful and nice, they only fulfill some niches that you can still fulfill with plenty other adventurers, so they aren't a necessary must-have, but even then, Cygames is doing reruns of plenty of limited banners all the fucking time, so there will be lots of opportunities to grab these limited adventurers just for collection's sake

Dragalia has zero "powercreep that rends your resources wasted", resources that you can't reuse are very easy to come by, and everything else that you can actually have a hard time collecting, is used for maxing out weapons and dragons, which you can infinitely reuse on any other adventurer, so you never actually "waste resources", and there'a very little powercreep anyway
They constantly give free resources and free rolls, too, their events are quite generous, and we'll be having anniversary in a month now, which will probably be a freeshit bonanza.
Gameplay is simple enough and also proves to be mechanically challenging depending on the content you're doing rather than just allowing you to bulldoze through things by having extremely strong units.
Doesn't rely on fanservice or "selling jpgs" as its main attraction, while it'a a nice side-addition.
It'a only fault is lacking content, which they make up for by releasing completely *new* content every few weeks or once a month at best.
You could be f2p forever and still conquer 100% of game content, even the "bullshit challenges designed for whales".

FGO "gameplay" is what makes it terrible. That rock paper scissors match three shit is unbearable. If it had auto battle it would be infinitely better, but 90% of the game is grinding for mats so they can't have that.

You don't really have to pay to play it good. There are gacha rolls but it's just skins and furniture. Even if you play daily you can roll for skins decent amount of times.
Not sure about AL but in GFL you can easily get 50% of infrastructure upgrade by playing, 80% if you do extra challenges after leveling your squadrons and rest (of more important stuff like dorms) after few months of daily login.

as a full f2p if you are willing to put in time, effort and your execution skill of strat in Memorial Arena which is about killing bosses ASAP but there's a catch. There's a mechanic called time fracture in the game that slows down the timer so a run that takes 10 seconds but uses 5 seconds of time fracture will equal in about 5 seconds in the end score but it requires a lot of RNG grinding by resetting run and execution from you.

The biggest issue most people have in Aether Raids is that they never learned about AI mechanics and how to predict. You need to plan your moves turns ahead and know how the AI will react to win. That gif I posted here: involved a simple rally trap but the mindblowing part was how they used Aerobatics and Guidance inconjunction and the fact that they triggered the rally while the opposing team was out of range.

My biggest issue in AR is I like the mobility of cavalry, but they sometimes just can't compete with the stat bloat of a well built armor team. Especially on +1 to Defense Fort weeks. It's usually pretty easy to play around the AI, and frankly I think if they wanted to make some of the PvE content truly challenging they'd have to address AI first.
Also I love Galeforce memes, shame it's kind of hard to come by fodder for it.

Because you're basically drawing from a deck of card. Lets say you can get 5 character.
In your system you draw five cards and pick between 1 to 5. Then you can keep doing that up until 25 card draw in the worst case. In the end you actually draw 25 cards.
In the other system you draw and keep the 5 first cards.

Rng is rng, if the 24 first card are non reds, you will need 25 summon to get it, while your system allow you to get it for only 5.

Hey man, when in doubt, go with the People's Champion. People have literally made it to T21 with Eir/Rein/Lyn/Dancer teams. You could also invest in a bladetome calvary to bust through those armor teams. If you have issues with armor teams, it means you're not packing enough power. At high levels armor teams no longer hold up. Keep looking at what other people do to find inspiration for yourself.

You get free stones for completing achievements. It's finite, enough for I would say 8 10-pulls, more if you really take your autism to good use. The story chacters, the free characters you get, will have 5* so you don't have to worry about being shafted out of a good endgame team. There's also some you can fight to recruit.

Not sure if I want to spend the grails and feathers to get him to +10 since he does what he needs to at +7.

In FEH, once you start your summon you are locked in. It then gives you 5 circles, each a random color between red, green, blue, and colorless. At this point, you HAVE to spend premium currency on at least one of these choices. So, if you only wanted a specific red character and no red circles show up, that currency is completely wasted as you have 0% chance to get that character with the currency you just spent. And this happens quite a lot. In other games, every single roll could be the specific character you’re after with varying chance based on game, but always above 0%. Now imagine you’re playing a slot machine and every other time you pull the lever you have a 0% of winning. Not 1%, not 0.5%, not 0.1%, not 0.0000001%, literally 0%. Does that make sense?

However, you neglected to mention that FEH also hands out premium currency like candy, has way better rates than most other gachas, time-limited banners last longer and seasonal characters reappear more often, and you get a free summon on every single banner.
So yeah, the color orbs practice IS shitty and no one in their right mind is going to deny that. It's just that even with that you can get a fuckton of 5* while staying f2p and playing like 1-2 times a day.

Dragalia's combat seems to be hit or miss on people. It has no pvp, and the waifus have personal stories and different personalities, that's it.

Crazy amounts of reruns, dead weeks, no fucking event variety anymore, and lately horrendous powercreep. The new director literally buffs units and dragons that are already #1, meanwhile many have been absolutely trash since release and absolutely nothing is done about them.

Anyone who tells you that the powercreep isn't *that* bad is talking out of their ass; Gala Cleo is so strong that you may as well uninstall if you don't have her. Yeah you *can* clear content without her, but the difference is staggering, and it still feels like shit knowing that your favorite characters who were all relatively balanced got completely invalidated. I am almost certain that all future content is going to be designed with Gleo in mind, so fuck you if you don't have her.
