Why aren't you playing Factorio right now, Yea Forums?
Why aren't you playing Factorio right now, Yea Forums?
Too busy playing Rimworld sorry
Too busy modding Dwarf Fortress into Yinglet Fortress.
>playing a bootleg dorf fort
I don't understand it.
i'm not a neet
i don't have time
Taking a small break after reaching two thousand hours of playtime.
I can play Anno for my production line autism
No too busy playing Factorio for stupid shit like that.
>Yinglet
p-pics?
This game's setting is too depressing for me
not weeb enough
not trash enough
>ftfy
this
Not autistic enough
Because it requires Steam to be running and I'm not on my main computer right now and won't be until 5 months from now. Based gaben DRM am I right?
What is there to not understand?
Because I'm waiting for 1.0
When it's coming out?
I don't really have anything to show and it's mostly just reworking kobolds with some slightly different racial traits, anyway.
What's a yinglet?
I'm a brainlet
This. When will we get an anime style production autism game
I'm going to try Kubifaktorium instead. Wish me luck.
Filthy, thieving, clam-obsessed vermin.
You can download a drm free version very easily
. , .
; Y ;

I chuckled
This game is under Portal 2 as the best reviewed game on Steam, is it really that good or is it shills?
Also
>$42
>no sales EVER
Why
At least it has a soundtrack.
I'm not autistic.
youtube.com
What now faggot?
It's alright. People don't give it negative reviews because they're afraid of being called brainlets.
The high price coupled with the ease of piracy means almost everyone who's bought it likely pirated it before hand and already knew if they'd enjoy it.
>the dev doing the scales for the ten minutes
>it's the only song
My head would explode if I had to listen to this for hours.
Because I have already tasted perfection that is dwarf fortress, no other micromanagement game like this can soothe my autism.
game isn't fun
In their words: factorio.com
Keeps people from scalping their game I assume
It really is that good. Factorio sets out to be something very specific, and it succeeds tremendously in that aspect.
If you like games where you design any kind of complex system (city builders, minecraft factories, etc) you'll like Factorio. It's also surprisingly comfy, and even has some tower defense elements to it.
Because Infinifactory and Spacechem are a lot better
You better post it when you're finished, faggot
it was 30 a couple of months ago wtf

Nothing, what's a yinglet with you?
Imo it's great how the defense aspect become another thing you need to account for from an I/O perspective and eventually you can fully automate
>Infinifactory
You mean the game no one ever talks about because it's as deep as a puddle?
I think part of it is how well it's built, there's no bugs, no slowdown, it's pretty perfect
Can you not install Steam on your non-main computer or what?
because its that good, obviously.
It triggers my Hyperfocus, and i purposefully avoid things that do that. Fun game though.
Adorable.

Also building things has a nice feedback.
Placing belts feels like the hitmarker in CoD, the first time I heard how my bots placed a whole construction line was orgasmic.
It's made by autists for autists.
I want to try to beat the game with little/no bots but I just can't keep my factory organized. It always just turns into a long line of items being built and when I need more than copper/iron/chips it turns to a disorganized shitshow.

You have my respect
DELET THIS YOULL BE BANNED
Too dumb to understand it fully. I gave up on the first mission of the campaign after being too slow and getting munched by the monsters.
Goblin-bird-kobloid like things from a webcomic. Their defining trait is being incompetent, eager to please, and haveing a speach impediment.

>THIS
You had one job.
What me helped was not to make a bus for everything. For shit like gears or copper wires I just setup a few assemblers right before the stuff I actually want to assemble.
i tried, but i am not autistic enough
I've tried before but this is about as far as I got.
I god damn fucking love seeing factories of first time players. Its a work of art. All the unoptimized builds, all the conveyors going to and from in such organic ways built for the need of the moment with no thought beyond that. It leads to the most comfy looking natural factories I've ever seen from this game where no two factories are even remotely alike. Its truly a work of art that is lost the moment the player discovers what a main bus is and all their future factories begin looking just like everybody else's factories.
you need serious autism to play it more than an hour
Glad my monstrosity was pleasing to you at least. After I finished that mess I saw the requirements for the next step and sort of gave up.
Do I want to know?
>ctrl f 'autis'
>8 results
Please don't misrepresent my condition
I dont know. Do you?
You might like my first attempt at making green science
God I really do wish I forgot how to make bus lines just for this.
It's still not on GOG.
>Old/pol/.jpg
>1 (one) assembler
>no room for expansion
Its beautiful, user, thank you.
I beat the game vanilla (and got every achievement except the time ones)
And I beat the game modded.
... I realized I don't care enough to go for the time-achievements, and I don't like the early game enough to start a file for any other reason. Infact, I downright hate it
The meta of making research potions is too boring for me
What the fuck? I've periodically searched for the damn thing on GOG for the last couple years and it never turned up. I can't imagine I mistyped the name that entire time. Oh well, that simplifies things.
Too busy playing Exapunks
I launched the shuttle and promptly stopped playing
great game, really tickles the autism
It's ok now you know.
what do you do in the game? other than make factorios
>those gear wheels mixed up with the conveyer belts
>those two inserters at the bottom not doing anything
Amazing
I somewhat just started playing. you would love to see my "art" then lol
I have no idea what this is but I like it.
You teach the factories how to make more factories for you while you work on the design for a better factory that will build itself by breaking down parts of the previously self-replicating factories.
Does Yea Forums use blueprints?
It's about a guy getting turned into a female rat bird.
Using blueprints literally takes the soul out of the game. Which I guess is the entire point of the game to begin with.
That speech impediment and attitude reminds me of jägermonsters. This is a good thing.
I made two nuclear plants and now I'm set for five thousand hours
what next?
Not personally, I think they defeat the point of the game, although they are cool to look at. It's like using pre-built rollercoasters in RCT, takes the fun out of it.
Using your own blueprints and tinkering with them is good. Downloading a pack and letting others do the designing for you defeats the point of the game.
whats the webcomic
Out Of Placers
My brainlet friends don't have the attention span for it I'm so fucking sick of counter strike
I'm scared because it brings out the autism in me. I played it once for a whole straight day without eating nor resting until I passed out. When I woke up I immediately uninstalled it, never touching it again ever since.
?
Play alone
I'm sure you can tell your brainlet friends to go work on something more immediate. Tell them to set up the power supply for example, early game its quick, easy, and will provide immediate visible results. Then set them to make small parts of your factories, like tell them to set up a line of assemblers making copper wire or something else you need and you'll connect to it later. Let them sort out issues with their design, you just connect once its done and watch them be happy that what they built is working.
>only one (you)
...that's not a double post. Someone else posted what I posted again.
is there factorio r34
Is it still single threaded unoptimized pos? Does UPS suffer on medium bases?
You can also buy it directly from the developers if you care about DRM free.
You get a copy of it anyways if you buy it off steam too.
What would you want to see
its painful for me to look at it now
i keep restarting the game and using the BPs i've personally refined over time
I was wondering why you posted twice. Why did you post twice?
Guy you're replying to. My very first screenshot
>ask friend to set up purple science
>everything's already being made he just needs to feed it all into a machine and get the output to the science array
>builds the machines on the wrong side of the factory
>runs a belt halfway through the factory, then 90 degree turns and runs out of the factory through the area I'm working on stuff, then around the outside the rest of the way to the science array
>just slapped it into the red/green science belt
Poetry in motion.
Gentlemen... BEHOLD!
Bugs trapped in industrial sex machines being milked and drained for their juices. Ends with the builder sitting on a pimp throne with honey locals on chains around it.
playing oxygen not included instead
playing omnifactory instead
Waiting for next update but want to go back to it. Really fun and relaxing for co op though
>$42
What? It's $30 right now. Bought it when it was $20, completely worth it
It's especially worth it if you have someone to play it with. Many good times to be had.
It is. Played with one friend, couldn't get anyone else in. Despite him being one of those that just googles the best/top rated balancer, he actually tried some designs on his own. We didn't have the best bases but it was fun since day one
All of my multiplayer sessions ended with train wars. Lots of diverting tracks and making odd junctions in an attempt to make crashes happen.
Play Bob's+ Angels mods
That's aussiebux sorry
Ah my buddy had a sizable following on twitch so we had to make it entertaining through going in blind and just figuring it out the hard way.
Man I didn't even know that was a thing. That sounds super fun.
is this how bus work
Holy shit those belts.
I'm waiting for it to be finished
I copy balancers because it feels like reinventing the wheel otherwise. It's something I appreciate about Factorio, I can run the experiments and figure out how many steel furnaces to fill a red belt, but if I can't be fucked I can look it up some other autist's math.
My first rocket launch factory. This game is fun as hell, even better in multiplayer with newish players.
Something like that is fine. Problem with him was just copying big designs without fully understanding how they worked so he couldn't create some on his own. We never got to use robots though, maybe I can convince him to start again
Oh hello Factorio thread
I have concussions, not autism
Is it possible to be completely eco friendly after your initial startup phase? Rushing to solar as fast as possible or whatever else there is now. If you do would the bugs never attack you?
no since drills and assemblers produce pollution
Because it hurts my brain and I'm not interested in building in-game calculators or neon signs
I did, but Idk what to do with all the stone
I am way too much of a brainlet to create balancers that actually evenly distribute stuff like that.
Kinda, if you keep track of your pollution, randomize your map until you get a big woods patch near the start zone and you kill the nearests nests they wont bother you that much, but there isnt fun in that
Don't worry, everybody is.
Same so I stole them from the wiki
How come every picture I see of conveyors they're totally backed up with shit, doesn't that mean you're not using enough of the parts you're producing?
If just one kind of part is backed up, then yeah there's overproduction and it's bad. If everything's backed up, that usually just means you forgot to set a new research.
Then where did balancers first come from?
Something like the halo energy sword art of lewd anime girls but with conveyor belts and shit
>>Infinifactory
>You mean the game no one ever talks about because it's as deep as a puddle?
If you think that, I highly doubt you've played it past the first set of levels. Granted, it's the least complex of all Zachtronics puzzle game (except maybe Opus Magnum), but still leagues ahead of Factorio
Trial and error. Infinite monkeys banging on infinite typewriters until things suddenly worked. Now The Design is a sacred artifact no-one dares tinker with, in fear of breaking it.
