I heard that in the top guilds tryharding the hardest, they'll be using Fury Warriors as tanks because Prot literally cannot do the threat required to hold aggro with a raid of properly minmaxed DPS with all the various world buffs on them. Whether that's true or not, it's clear that Classic is going to be nothing like Vanilla.

I'd like the new models but I see why they aren't including them; they would increase the size and system requirements of the Classic client, and the idea is for the game to have the same requirements it did back in 2004.
I think it's a missed opportunity to have a modern graphics toggle, though - Classic would greatly benefit from improved lighting and higher poly models.

Horde in general got a huge boost with the remodels, on alliance side dwarves and gnomes also got a nice boost.

You can run deadmines with Druids in bear form tanking while having a pally heal even though they have fuck all for heals at that level. If anything, the influx of people will mean nobody is paying attention during leveling about 'optimal builds' since all those guys want to get to 60 as fast as possible and will take anything to get there. People just playing to dungeon, PVE and do the occasional battleground don't give a shit that they're taking a hunter instead of a mage and that technically lowers their DPS and utility by X%.
