holodeck rape simulator

I like this idea

Fly around space meeting aliens and solving problems.

Of course YOU would, Barclay.

All the women of Star Trek serve aboard my star ship where I'm the captain and they all love me very much and would do anything I asked including sexual favors in case you're wondering

How much you think he smashed Troi in that thing before people found out.

Beverly and Deanna get their tiddies all oiled up and titty fuck different types of alien cock dildos.

That's the game.

no one ever found out
he was too meticulous about cleaning up the evidence.

Prospector + Starsector + Stellaris + Elite Force + Bridge Commander

>dildos
why not horses?

You just torture Will Wheaton in a holodeck for 40 hours.

mobygames.com/game/a-night-with-troi

>no one ever found out
Geordi, Riker and the real Troi literally walked in on one of his holo fantasies, doofus. It was the one with Troi as the Maiden of Pleasure or whatever.

Should I start watching star trek? I'm usually not into nerd shit but it seems fun and campy

Dragon Age: Origins like game where you start with a different race/backstory, then throughout the game where you can help different empires take over the Alpha/Beta Quadrant.
Empires you can side with are the Dominion, Cardassian Empire, Ferengi Alliance, Federation, Klingon Empire and the Romulan Republic

It's not, it's boring and at times preachy. There are some good episodes, but you've got to wade through a lot of boring shit since it's such a long running series.

he's more careful when he's naked

If that’s what you like, watch TOS.

Commando O'Brien game

Basically Mass Effect's Mako, ME2 planet scanning, Starfox rail shooting, X-Com tactical gameplay, and No Man's Sky flying around space. Throw in New Vegas quest depth and dialogue to make it better. Just steal from everything and don't try and be original because licensed games trying to be original suck.

Was thinking of this desu

>there will never be a Cardassian Vietnam shooter type game

That's a fake dick.

Entirely new locale (set during or shortly after TNG era trek), entirely new likable characters, interactivity, RPG and strategy elements.

Bullshit stay mad dicklet

oh lawdy i need the source

Multiplayer game on a less than high ranking starship. SCP SL or TTT style, players randomly assigned to different divisions at the start of each round, which will dictate what your character is capable of and what you can interact with to an extent. Shit happens on the ship and everyone has to- or is supposed to- get the ship back to the nearest starbase in one piece. Sometimes it'll be a player in charge of fucking things up; maybe one player was assigned to the role of a Q with admin powers, or is actually a changeling who can disguise as other players, or the captain is a Marquis agent as are half the crew and civil war happens. Maybe the entire server is assigned to Engineering and a bunch of fucking Barclays have to navigate a ship. Sky and programming ability is the limit.

"My attitude toward homosexuality has changed. I came to the conclusion that I was wrong. I was never someone who hunted down 'fags' as we used to call them on the street. I would, sometimes, say something anti-homosexual off the top of my head because it was thought, in those days, to be funny. I never really deeply believed those comments, but I gave the impression of being thoughtless in these areas. I have, over many years, changed my attitude about gay men and women." - Gene Roddenberry

Literally watch it to fall asleep then see if you stay awake to watch good episodes. Every episode will literally put you to fuckin sleep because every character wears pajamas and I love it.

>every character wears pajamas and I love it.

>dedicated taunt key to bitch about feckin spoon heads

Reminder that Chris Chan quoted Star Trek but never paid attention to any of it.

Start at the beginning of TNG, watch the episode and then listen to The Greatest Generation podcast.
Its a great way to get into (and get through) the series.

>and then listen to The Greatest Generation podcast.
God you are such a fucking poser, needing someone to help you "get through" the show.

Yes and what are you implying with that ant sized woman smiling and green text?

Explore the universe on a federation-class starship composed of a crew of randoms.

Adhere to the Prime directive and attempt to blend in to lesser civilized planets, or play the role of diplomat to greater civilizations.

No real goal.

That your post made me smile. Relax about it.

WTF is the point of the prime directive? To not interfere with the natural evolution of a planet? Isn't the federation by definition part of nature?

>text adventure

Yeah. Planets also have the option to not join after First Contact, which is done right after people figure out Lightspeed travel. It's just a way to make sure cultures develop on their own instead of speeding it up and possibly diluting it's unique nature.

You're just not supposed to interfere with pre-warp civilizations or even make yourself known to them.

Same gay shit as Doctor Who, break their own self imposed rules of interference when it involves the character's self interests.

Fpbp

>that episode where O'Brien's taunting makes some cardy feckin shit wet because that's how cardys interact with each other to signal the want to mate

They don't want another klingon situation where the culture doesn't develop properly and end up with barbarians with future technology

A society like the Klingons could never make it to space in the first place.

If a body moved faster than the speed of light, wouldn't that interfere with the natural flow of time?

Attached: 1353089363404.jpg (604x338, 28K)

I'd say the Prime Directive is followed more often than not. Except Voyager I guess.

>another klingon situation
Who dropped the ball on that one? I don't remember that being brought up but there's a lot of content I probably forgot over .sraey eht

Are Klingons or Cardassians the niggers of Star Trek? Anyone remember that episode of TNG with the literal African planet and all they wanted to do was rape Tasha Yar?

Why was O'Brien always getting his ass beat yet he was still the coolest guy on DS9?

Voyager's premise is fuckin retarded and I just don't care about Janeway to watch it.

Didn't they already do this with that one episode where a guy programs the holodeck just to fuck all the major Star Trek female characters?

Attached: 1564122847-2019-07-26-Star-Track-Record.png (600x1125, 289K)

I think one of my favorite moments was learning how different Cardassian values could be when Garak brought up that one book to Bashir. And Bashir couldn't quite wrap his head around it, but it was okay.
>The Never Ending Sacrifice was a Cardassian novel, which Elim Garak thought was the "finest Cardassian novel ever written." Archetypical of the repetitive epic genre of Cardassian literature, The Never Ending Sacrifice described seven generations of a Cardassian family, all of whom live selfless lives of devotion to the state.
I'd definitely be interested in trying to read the book if it existed.

Where were you when it was revealed that Ronnie had shit taste?

The Klingons themselves did. At one point they were united and strong and had a period of lots of technological, cultural and economic advance. Then they were invaded by a species from the Gamma Quadrant who basically ripped apart their society and stole many of their cultural artifacts. Then they basically split into warring factions and stagnated both culturally and technologically before attempting to unite again to fight against humans. Basically they were still living off hundreds of year old tech and had lost their way. It's like how the middle east used to be a scientific mecca hundreds of years ago but it was all destroyed and is now just full of dune coons.
Depending on where you take your canon from the conflict with the humans was primarily caused by the Augment Crisis which is in Enterprise.

DS9 > TNG > literally everything else.

Eve Online but the Federation is CONCORD

Janeway is unironically the best captain

Unironically moving episode

EVE online

And no that's not STO.

Have you gone back and watched early TNG lately? Besides even for great shows like Babylon 5 a companion podcast can be a lot of fun.

Klingons are niggers, Cardassians are Nazis.
The correct answer for the Alpha Quadrant is the Dominion.

Attached: Miles_O'Brien_after_20_yrs.jpg (871x871, 51K)

I can at least appreciate TOS. It had to play to the expectations of a show for the time and still managed to do some interesting things. I also love shoestring budget effects.
I never quite got to Enterprise and left off in the middle of Voyager, so maybe that's why I don't remember this. I wasn't in a rush to watch four seasons of Time Travel bullshit and then one season of better Trek.

CARDI FUKKEN SHITS

>Beta cuck wamen who repeatedly ignores and sometimes flat out sabotages ways to get her crew home out of dogmatic adherence to the prime directive and morality, even when it makes absolutely no sense to do so.
>Alpha chad Sisko who will commit multiple crimes up to and including a broad definition of treason and accessory to murder in order to force millions to go to war, all because it is in the pursuit of the greater good for the Alpha Quad.
No yeah, definitely gonna go with the pedantic bitch as best captain. Hell we don't even need to bring Picard into this, Janeway uncontested best captain oh god fuck my ass please.

Attached: giggling waifus.jpg (480x318, 16K)

I hated Enterprise for a long time just because of that fucking intro theme song. I couldn't get through like 3 episodes. I just recently rewatched all of it and I thought it was actually really good for the most part. At least you can click skip intro on Netflix these days.

ITS BEEN A LONG ROAD

Yes.
Start with Enterprise(technically a prequel), details a lot of stuff in universe so you don't feel lost hoping in TNG.
Then you'll need to power through TNG S1&2 before the show becomes great.
Last but not least TOS&DS9

GETTIN FROM THEIR TO HEAR

Gallitep Simulator

Attached: 1297637721980.jpg (480x360, 9K)

And that's why Janeway was promoted while Sisko was sent to literally where

MURDERERS! ASSASSINS!

>and all they wanted to do was rape Tasha Yar?
Red shoe diaries fans?

Sisko joined a pantheon of Gods in Bajoran Heaven

Janeway and Sisko are really the only captains I felt had any kind of major character development. Picard had some level of development with being assimilated but for the most part he was always played fairly straight.
Sisko and Janeway both have their character arcs develop based on their adaptation to their situation. Neither wants to be in the situation they are in and both try and do what they think a "starfleet captain" should do. For both of these characters this only lasts for about half of the run of the show when they realize they can't just act like Picard does in every situation.
Janeway's development doesn't start to show until halfway through the show. Maybe you never finished it, I'm not sure. As the show progresses she learns she can't adhere to the prime directive and Starfleet morality that she clings to in the early seasons. That is what makes her (and Sisko) both very good characters.

Hah, it can't be overstated just how creepy that actually is when you think about it. This guy has perfect knowledge of your body and what fucking you is like because apparently the computer allows that.

Terran Empire game, oppress, enslave and murder alien trash

youtube.com/watch?v=BXdu6C3Qoro

It's more fridge-logic than anything because there is no way in hell people AREN'T using the Holodeck for that kind of thing. They act like it's a big deal on the ship, but you absolutely know there are hundreds of thousands of people on Earth fucking a perfect replica of their dream crush in a holodeck. If even Quark can operate illicit sexual holodecks on Deep Space 9, there is no way it is not a booming industry across the Galaxy.

No there's literally an episode about an African planet and how the leader of said planet wants to force Yar to be his wife and have a harem.

That old flash game, Broken Mirror or whatever, but as a proper game. Start out with nothing but a shuttle, build your way up to bigger ships by doing transport jobs and shit and eventually colonize/conquer planets and start building your fleet to take control of the galaxy. Or pussy out and negotiate your way into everyone's good books, either way works.

Attached: 1531848837238.jpg (640x603, 68K)

>Picard had some level of development with being assimilated but for the most part he was always played fairly straight.
His development was being a little more open at the end of TNG rather than his usual reclusive self. It's not a major change, but it's nice. He didn't have to radically change who he was for his role as a captain to be entertaining.

>he was always played fairly straight.
wrong use of the term played straight

So Starsector in the Star Trek universe.

>klingons
>niggers
They're more like Mongol Khans with actual culture.
The real niggers are jem'hadars, expandable and being ordered around by white men with no culture of their own.

Attached: gengis.jpg (3994x1994, 1.46M)

How? It means being portrayed in a straightforward manner. Picard was basically the personification of Starfleet/Federation morality on paper. His only true character was when you could peer between the cracks and see that he was still human inside.

Mass Effect could have literally been the Star Trek of vidya but they fucked it up.

>remembering spending 10 hours straight playing that on a laptop one day after school in grade 5 or 6 and completely ignoring a test the next day
It's been like 14 years holy fuck why can I still picture that stupid shuttle and all the ship designs. I didn't even know what Star Trek was back then.

kek

A fighting game based of TOS

>it's a lwaxana troi episode

Attached: 100.gif (395x281, 83K)

Picard was a static character, Janeway and Sisko were dynamic. Despite everything, Picard never turns from his path or what he believes in, and though there are some bumps along the road, his entire point as a character is just unassailable surety in his purpose and job as Captain. Or at least, ensuring he presents that face to his crew and the world in general. He's not a 'straight forward' character or necessarily weaker character, just a different approach to things.

How do the Vulcans handle autism/down syndrome? Just like Earth culture? Imagine the retard strength on them.

Attached: wil-wheaton-wesley-crusher.jpg (800x500, 73K)

What are you going to do? Will me to fuck old lady pussy?

well in the ds9 episode it shows that you need a deep scan of the person or medical records, without them you only get the superficial appearance.

is rational to assume that starfleet has the medical records available so they can make exact replicas, and the same behavior if they use psychological profiling but for private holodecks you need to get the scans, probably why there was a market for holodeck porn

Common terms are common.

Attached: 3dpd.jpg (358x336, 38K)

How can such a big titted Italian sex goddess have such shitty episodes?

Remember that episode where Lwaxana Troi takes a nude mudbath with a child?

Attached: cost-of-living-hd-147.jpg (1436x1080, 425K)

So Picard takes place after 09? I mean isn't the whole timeline fucked because Spock and whatever his name went to the past? Wouldn't every thing play out differently because Spock and Kirk had a completely different past?

Wasn't Alexander retarded?

That was my point though. All it takes is one doctor or hacker or anything to get the physical scan of some celebrity's last medical, sell it to an illicit dealer, and that person is now a completely accurate 100% recreated sexdoll for thousands of fans. And even if you didn't have the exact details of weight, that mole on their thigh, etc, this is Star Trek. We can get someone's near exact height, weight, dimensions, etc, from a single picture. It may not be a perfect recreation but I'm sure the people partaking are perfectly happy with an idolized version of the hot-girl at school they can fuck in their holodeck. I mean it isn't like people wouldn't be modifying boob and cock size on their respective crushes anyways even if they HAD the exact dimensions.

I think that's just a symptom of being Klingon.

They're entirely seperate timelines; Old Spock fucked up a different Spock's future by going back, not his own.
Picard will be set in the aftermath of that stupid supernova bullshit back in the original timeline.

So I should ignore the new timeline entirely? Is Discovery worth watching?

The original Bryan Fuller pitch for the Picard show from a few years ago (that they basically stole and mutilated) actually sounded like it would have been a cool prime Trek series, and it seemed like it would have handled the dipshit JJ trek stuff well.

That is such bad advice. Honestly watch it all in order. Broadcast order. And don't skip the movies. The TOS movies in particular are really good.

Discovery is total shit. It could have been good if it wasn't a prequel and the Klingons in it weren't the Klingons. Oh and also if it didn't have total dogshit writing and characters. It's so far from Star Trek it hurts.

Anytime people start seriously fucking with time-travel as a serious plot device for whole seasons of a show, yes. Straight ignore it because it is always a stupid idea. I get it that for the movies they wanted to reboot the series and an easy way of doing that was just 'uh, multiverse, alternate reality!', fair enough. But when they have whole series just diving back and forth between the proper canon and the new timeline, it becomes so cluttered and dull that you're better just viewing the new shit as fanfiction.

Are they the same as the ones from The Animated Series?

I love the TOS movies but I think the TOS show is pretty fucking mediocre. Next Gen is still the place to start for new people imo.

This. And most Trek fanfics are better written than Discovery too.

Red Letter Media's concept for the show had me cautiously optimistic. Not really very excited after the actual trailer though.

yes

>The Next Generation
>run by senior citizens
this confused me as a child

It's only three movies; two of which (09 and Beyond) are decent enough action flicks to watch if you're bored, but it's also dead in the water due to failed actor negotiations so you're not gonna miss much by not watching them.
Disco is not worth watching, although if their version of Pike gets his own spin-off, that might be worth giving a shot. Dude did a pretty good job of the character given the shit scripts he had to work with.

>Bryan Fuller pitch
No. Disco is a shitshow, and the first 3 episodes (the only 3 he stuck around to work on) still manage to stand out as a trainwreck even amongst the rest of the garbage. After that, I'd trust him to do a decent Picard series even less than I trust the current team.

>sell it to an illicit dealer,
hard to do without money
> It may not be a perfect recreation but I'm sure the people partaking are perfectly happy with an idolized version of the hot-girl at school they can fuck in their holodeck.
well it looks like a dream made true from our perspective but porn standars evolve constantly
i bet that a wanker in the 60's would be immensely happy white lesbian porn in color.
but i bet you expect more

Their idea was kind of OK but I thought it played a little bit too safe and predictable. I would have liked a show that started with Picard contemplating killing himself because of his age and Irumodic Syndrome. Only to be visited by Q and then they go on a journey together visiting different places and times in the universe, ending with Picard being the first human to join the Q continuum. Would have been a nice framework to have all sorts of new ideas along with fanservice. I guess it probably wouldn't be high enough stakes though for modern TV.

I did like that Bones showed up practically a fossil. Nice to know medicine made living that long viable.

>when they have whole series just diving back and forth between the proper canon and the new timeline
That has literally never happened. The only things set in the new timeline were the three recent movies.

Picard is basically a glorified diplomat and I think as soon as people see through that they very quickly fall out of love with him as a character since his only real moments of humanity come from the trauma of being Borg'd

I agree that Bryan Fuller fucked up on Disco, although I feel like that has more to do with writing and production by committee than his singular vision, but his Picard pitch was several years before Disco was a thing, and it actually sounded like a reasonable continuation of TNG's timeline. Not sure if you heard the pitch or not but it seemed a lot more interesting than what the new show looks like from the trailers and what has been said about it.

Red Orchestra 2 like game during the dominion war.

YOU FORGOT THE FUCKING FLUTE EPISODE

Quite deliberately I assure you.

An arena shooter where you play as Star Trek characters shooting eachother with rocket launchers and lightning guns.

Data is so based for containing his innate desire to kill all humans.

elite force was fun

You don't watch Voyager for Janeway, you watch it for the Doctor, Seven, and Tuvok. And Kes, but do yourself a favor and don't look up her actress.

you forgot the most important one

Attached: 1561018351471.jpg (800x1015, 427K)

A game like the X series except big budget

>and Tuvok
Good man. People give a lot of flak for Tuvok being a pretty dull charactter for the most part, but I think Tim Russ absolutely nailed what a Vulcan should be with his performance, far better character than Spock and T'pol were, particularly when they expand into his backstory for contrast.

It's even fucking weirder because he could make literally anyone, but this guy chooses his fucking COWORKERS? What a lunatic.

>mash Galaxy and Sovereign classes together
>it actually looks pretty decent
huh. neat

An RPG where you play as a young Starfleet ensign and work your way up. 60 to 100 hours long, you start in starfleet academy which could also be the training mission. You become an ensign and join your first Starfleet vessel and explore local solar systems, visit colonies, and solve local issues. It would take place in either the TNG or DS9 timelines so you can have romulan threats of war, Borg before they were ruined, and the dominion acting as background to a growing greater conflict.

You would eventually get your own starship with maybe one or two upgrades throughout the game. It would have to include a holodeck related quest with some sort of holodeck accident. I imagine it could be done using the style of either Mass Effect or Isometric style similar to Divinity OS where you have a full 3d rotational camera.

You would eventually take part in some sort of growing mystery which would climax during the dominion war. We could pander further with DS9 serving as an outpost in the game for deep galaxy exploration.

There would need to be a 3dmap with your ship for travelling and exploring. As well as visits and quests to many m class planets and colonies. It would have to be developed so its not boring as shit like the Pillars of Eternity 2 ship travelling.

Beyond that it would just need some writers to put together various sci fi plots for major and minor quests, either turn based combat or action in vein of a mass effect game but obviously less shit. And maybe that's about it.

I didn't mention Neelix because he's such a like-him-or-hate-him character. I liked him though, particularly his focus episodes

Too bad that some warp capable idiots called Hur'q decided to land on Qo'noS, get killed and have their warp drive reverse engineered. That happened sometime between 822AD and 1400AD or 1947AD depending on source.

Starship simulator with massive amounts of different subsystem management.

What does this have to do with anything? Alfred Hitchcock was considered a progressive for his time. The greater of the Twilight zone was anti racist and anti war.
Sorry mate, intellectuals don't wear maga hats or listen to tucker carlson

I thought they had developed warp travel shortly after the time Kahless had united Qo'nos. I know about the Hur'q invasion but where was it stated that they got warp tech because of the Hur'q?

I want something like the old Sega Genesis one. Some sort of tactical view with ship subsystem control and isometric away missions.

Fuck you, Janeway is a Foxy MILF

Star Trek: Elite Force 3. There you go.

Season 1 of Discovery is total dogshit

Season 2 is an improvement but you can only polish a turd so much.

Season 2 is rife with plotholes though

>Season 2 is an improvement but you can only polish a turd so much.
And a lot of that polish comes due to characters that won't be in it after season 2 anyway, so there's no way to tell if it'll remain at that level of quality or revert back to season 1 levels.

Attached: 1548284834737.jpg (1267x1080, 673K)

i would watch it, but you can't really binge watch TOS

Starfleet academy game that functions similarly to Bully. You play as your own OC as you progress through the years at starfleet academy. The game gives you full reign of Earth's starfleet academy campus Classes are your general Star Trek shit, piloting, engineering, Medical.
The main plot would be your standard shit, overcome your rival, uncover conspiracies in between attending class
At the end of the game you graduate and get placed on your first assignment where you get redirected to Wolf 359...

Give me the truth here anons, should I bother watching season 2 at all? I loved TNG and DS9, indifferent to the rest, absolutely hated STD season 1. Seth McFuckingFartjokes made a better Star Trek than STD season 1 ended up being and that was with every other episode being about gay alien babies, so I completely gave up hope on STD but if there's anything worthwhile in there I might watch season 2.

Attached: 1551507800982.png (610x343, 417K)

It has Christopher Pike and Spock as main characters

That means nothing unless the writing is good enough to support them. Is it? I don't really want to wade into another STD-ridden cesspool to find out if it's not.

It's got TOS fanservice with the original Enterprise, Captain Pike, Number Two, and Spock, but it's about as bad as the first season if not worse for the way it sets up an origin story to the Borg and then aborts it.

Attached: phaser parasite.webm (960x720, 1.78M)

Anson Mount plays a fantastic Pike, and the new Spock isn't half bad either, though he's more hindered by the so-so writing than Pike is. You're probably better off just watching the upcoming Short Treks focused on the Enterprise rather than actually putting yourself through Disco s2 though. As great as some of Pike's moments are, there's some shit in there that'll make you wish we were getting more JJ Trek movies instead.

>that'll make you wish we were getting more JJ Trek movies instead.
Jesus christ, is Discovery really THAT bad? I thought JJ films were bottom of the barrel already

You ain't seen shit yet.
>MATH IS SO COOL
>THE POWER OF SCIENCE PEOPLE
These are real lines from STD.

Elite force 3

Attached: star trek.jpg (300x440, 25K)

Personally, I find that it's not so much that it's outright bad, but more like wasted potential and that hurts more. There are some moments throughout the season where some classic fucking Trek shines through, but it's also surrounded by mountains of half-hearted writing that sounds like it came from a SyFy knock-off.

>one episode
barclay showed up like a dozen times and even came back in voyager

Enterprise finally addressed that. Something like:
>'You didn't think that Klingon society was made entirely of the warrior caste, did you? How could such a society function?'
Bit of a retcon, of course.

>Broadcast order.
You were almost correct, too.
Production order for TOS, not broadcast order which is all over the place. If you watch broadcast order characters and concepts are introduced after you've already seen them, characters are killed off then suddenly alive again. You know you have the right order if The Corbomite Manuevre is the first episode once you're done with the two pilots.

For the TNG-VOY era broastcast order is fine, even though episodes were often produced out of order they had a viewing order in mind and the TV station honoured it, unlike the 60's mess.

Not that user, but i'm watching every episode in order, currently on season 3 episode 10. Sure, Tasha Yar was a dumb bitch, and Troi sucks, but the show as a whole was fine at first and gets better.

Wow, he really put his all into being shoved against the wall there, didn't he? The more I rewatch TNG, the more I realize Jonathan Frakes was a bad actor.

He's based until he says he doesn't like TOS

>Tasha Yar was a dumb bitch
She was still a better security chief than Worf, Son Of Oh Fuck I Just Got Bitch Slapped Again.

Stiff acting in a shoddy first season? This time it's true.

Get this man 100 bars of gold pressed latinum.

He probably had to do like 30 takes of slamming himself into that wall until they got a take the director liked

90 bars? What does he need 80 bars for?

Ferengi Tycoon

Open world singleplayer RPG where you go to multiple planets in the same vein as KOTOR or Mass Effect. Story driven with a great story and characters. I wish...

Worf is a jobber, but he actually tries to maintain a secure bridge/ship and follows and enforces procedure. Tasha just did whatever, didn't speak up to Picard about obvious security issues, and the first sex in the show is her and Data. Which is just strange.

>Everyone loved The Inner Light, I want a focused story about confusing reality for fiction too!
>Gets Frame of Mind

Remember, Worf is always right

>captain we should probably raise the shields, they might be hostile
>lel shut up worf everyone in the galaxy farts rainbows and happiness

Glass table!

It would get sjw’d so hard. Nice idea

this. just explore new places, meet interesting aliens, you know, like the entire basis of the show? The closest we got was 25th anniversary and the sequel i forget its name.

>those fucking kicks

It involves the holodek and ms troys flatulence.
We will need to get my co-developer LT. Barkley in here to help explain this.

>Stream that film, if you're so great.

Trek already has been sjw'd hard with Discovery, sadly.

Something that bad is the fault of the director more than the actor. It's not remotely hard to tell someone "Okay don't fling yourself across the room like you just got hit by a truck", so the fact that he didn't means the director thought it was fine and moved on.

So what's STO like these days?

The person he is fighting is secretly an alien parasite that is acting as part of a takeover of Starfleet/The Federation, and has incredibly enhanced strength and resistance to phaser fire.

>disengage safety protocols.png

What? No he's supposed to be getting flung like he got hit by a truck, but Frakes does so in practically slow motion, like there was no force at all behind the push.

Circling the drain a bit since CBS put the squeeze on them to push STD stuff

This is the chosen one we need right now.

>push STD stuff
What? How does that even work?
Wait, shit, the last season was all about time travel shit, I guess it could work.

Basically they took some Kligger and threw her forward in time with the help of magic mushrooms to STO time with a whole army of STD ships and she's somehow become Illuminati with agents everywhere and a threat in her 400 year old ships against the KDF, RRF and UFP alliance.
It's really more than a little bit of an asspull.

I think I'm gonna throw up

That's not even him, it's a stunt double, you can clearly see it on his face

Pretty delicate soul aren't you?

People who don't think Picard is the best captain and best actor to grace the show with his presence need to be put into camps and reeducated if possible and eliminated if not.

When you have asspulls like that, yes.
To be fair, I don't really know how STO was in the past. I only played it for like a week after it went free to play. It seemed like it had potential.

Joke's on you, I don't even like Timmy's.

Computer, create a 50 foot replica of Councilor Troi. Disable safety protocols.

It'd be cross over universe game between Farscape and Stargate.

There will be Star Trek references to be sure.

As a kid, I never understood exactly why O'Brien was deeply uncomfortable about his wife turning into a child in the episode "Rascals". But as Keiko pointed out, she still IS his wife.

It's canon that Riker had a waifu (as in a completely fictional character) he could never quite replicate with a holodeck.

>walk in Holodeck 4 for leisure time
>Captain Picard is being sat on by a huge, continuously farting hologram of Councilor Troi in what appears to be downtown Tokyo
>lock eye contact for only a second before leaving
>assigned on transporter duty indefinitely

That's more of a problem with the writers. They felt the audience were idiots and had to educate them. Look at the first episode of TNG, where everyone was just gushing about the holodeck, even though at that point it should have been very common technology.

Guess they didn't have the budget for Chow Yun-Fat.

Though, having a holodeck on the ship as opposed to a holo-rec-center might have been a bit of a novelty to them

every video game is a holodeck simulation

Maybe, but they really didn't have to have the characters act all amazed and surprised for the first few seasons whenever they'd step onto the holodeck.

Uniforms were fuckin hilarious during the film era

ship combat like star trek online, but ground combat is closer to mass effect.

They ran an event for an STD mission some months back that was just a great big holodeck simulation of one of the battles from STD so that we could "learn the tactics" of the Klingons of the era.
That coming after we beat the Undine, the Voth, the Terran Empire, the motherfucking ICONIANS and H'urq, we're expected to take these out of date Klingons as a threat? No chance, not buying what they were selling. That's about the time I quit the game.

He had some serious stinker imo. His injun episode and yanky vs commie ep was so fuckin awful

I was scared that was real, but Beverley's reaction is so cartoonish it's obviously staged.

>arrive at Holodeck 2 for my scheduled leisure time
>its already in use
>walk in to find a crying woman cowering on the floor
>I can tell from my aerobics classes that it is clearly Councellor troi
>I ask if she's okay
>I get no response
>I roll her over
>she starts laughing maniacally in a familiar male voice
>she has Commander Rikers face
>more Troi-Rikers surround me from the shadows
>suddenly I hear someone say "computer freeze program"
>Then he walks out
>Its Commander Riker
>he walks over to me and says
>"I will let Geordi know that you'll be running late"
>He's about to leave the holodeck
>"Oh one more thing, Computer disengage safety protocols and resume program"
>He leaves
>Get transferred to DS9 the following week
I still can't tell Keiko about this

It is not a MMO
It is not about any particular entry
It is Mass Effect with a new crew
It is just Mass Effect 2 but Star Trek themed and the combat is not shit.

Too late now, but i'd like a TNG style point and click similar to the 25th anniversary game.

Tucker Carlson is anti-war, and Alfred Hitchcock was a devout catholic whose opinions on things like homosexuality would cause the modern progressive to shudder.

It is funny how Star Wars stole all the attention as it went down in flames but people often forget Star Trek has remained shitty, unwatchable and irrelevant long before the last jedi subverted our expectations.

When will these boomer shit franchises die?

Yes

Ignore TOS it's autistic and actual shit
TNG is pretty comfy because it's got that 80s flair and optimism, but it has a lot of crappy filler shit
DS9 is the real stuff and easily the best of the bunch, not because "muh grimdark sci-fi" but because of the characters and their interaction and progression and the world building
VOY is 95% shit but it's weirdly comfy most of the time
ENT is very divisive amongst fans, I personally like it a lot but it has a lot of issues, still a pretty good show

Don't watch STD, it's "woke" shit and not true Star Trek
