We already know the Narga IG uses the iron cane design with feathers. It's called the Hidden Cane 2 and it's the final upgrade in the Narga line. Hidden Scythe is not in Iceborne.

It has been stated multiple times that players will have full view of the weapon tree itself - just not the monster parts required until you fight the monster for the first time.

World didn't show rows for monsterd until you were high enough rank to fight them, and the demo was blatantly missing shit like Luna/Jho and no MR weapon leading off of Xeno at all. Not arguing there won't be weapons that get screwed model wise but it really could end up being Lucent Narga or something, the German Capcom website mentioned variants for Narga and Tigrex
