How come he was so likeable despite being an obvious villain?
How come he was so likeable despite being an obvious villain?
>likable
incel
Still waiting on Kamoshida x Shiho dojins.
I guess it's because people love to hate him
why do we have to have this thread again
persona is for lonely teenagers
lol bet you think Adachi is a good character too
He wasn't. Is this the new Adachi posting?
Because this is what male power fantasy really looks like.
Because he was a relatable character.
Actually, I'm a lonely young adult and I enjoy it too
because he beat the shit out of mishima
Soon
the other villains were boring compared to him somehow
He love cunny.
He did nothing wrong. Kamoshida pushed his students to become better athletes, he just wanted to have a relationship with Ann.
Likeable by the characters in game? Because he was a shining star for the school and a handsome fella so people wanted to see him as an great dude. If you're just meme talkin' and think that people actually like him then nah
Then why was he only interested in old hags?
Define "likeable." In-universe he was a sports star who put up a friendly and approachable facade to disguise his hidden feelings and actions. Out-of-universe he's the most "personal" and developed villain in the game which makes him more memorable. Helps his English VA did a top-notch job with him.
He was the only one who seemed like an actual threat the characters didn't bring on themselves.
Hes like if Might Guy was a villain
Is it true he gave Ann a ride?
I'm still not understanding how he was likable. I guess he was a good villain compared to the rest of them, but his character certainly isn't likable.
D.C. Douglas absolutely NAILED Kamoshida. One of my favorite roles in the cast. I can’t even listen to his dweeby Japanese voice.
He got a lot more buildup compared to the other villains apart from shido.
>Offers you a ride at the start
seemed like a nice guy to me
The girls are like 17 though
Why was her jap voice so bad anyway
>her
his
I couldn't believe how bad the Jap voice was in comparison.
Ann blueballed him despite going on dates. She's the real villian.
What is like, one of the first things you are taught as a child? Don't take rides from strangers! It's like you want to be chained up in a basement somewhere being fucked by dogs
>villain
He was a suprisingly relatable villain regardless of his actions. Who wouldnt abuse their power if they were a washed up sports personality?
Like most of the VA differences, it's a difference in directing philosophy. English Kamoshida had a chad VA to emphasize that he was a chad sports star, while JP Kamoshida was literally voiced by a childrens' program host to try and make him sound more friendly and approachable. It's like how with Yusuke, Sugita had the deep voice to make him sound aloof and mysterious, while Mercer emphasized the eccentric awkwardness. Fukuyama gave Joker a solid "gentleman phantom thief" voice, while Mobus had a bit more "fuck you" in the battle dialogue. And so on and so forth.
He was a manipulative sociopath.
They're more common then you'd think and not always easy to spot.
P5 has such a terrible cast.
Persona hasn't had a good cast since 3 and even that was kind of a crap shoot
>English Kamoshida had a chad VA
The only other role I know him from is a moderately cowardly, highly intelligent, drug-abusing 80-year old scribe in Tyranny.
Yeah but he sounded like a chad in P5, which is part of why he's so memorable.
How come he was so likeable despite being an obvious villain?
>Persona hasn't had a good cast
You could've just stopped there and you'd be correct.
I will finish, what you started
True. That VA has some good range. it was just funny to me whenever I heard a bit of Lantry in it and laughed at the idea of kamoshida reading books and doing drugs after having his heart changed.
I feel like they used to not make such a big fuss over HOW DEEP AND REALIZED OUR CHARACTER ARCS ARE YOU GUYS! LET ME EXPLAIN MY PROBLEM THAT NEVER COMES UP AGAIN!
BASED
He beats nerds and takes pussy regardless of if they want it or not, it doesn't get more based than that.
Making party members social links/confidants was a mistake.
>Supposedly a sports star
>Only girls he could fuck were young girls that he coerced into sex
>Cries like a little bitch in front of the entire school
>Chad
Kamoshida is literally “What if an incel became a teacher”
