Not him but the aerial combat looks dope and the graphical overhaul is genuinely solid this time around. It's like they took the SNES designs and translated them into a AAA Jrpg with a competent art team.

Also unless you played the patched version of the game that fixes the difficulty, the original SNES version kind of sucks if you want a challenge.

What else should I play from this series while I wait? Just Secret of Mana? How is the remake?

Sword of Mana on GBA is really neat.

Remake is ass, just play the original. I also had fun with that one strategy game on the DS. Some swear by the PS1 game as well

They could have done a better job with the art, everything looks like cheap plastic with those dark shades around the corners, they could have used something close to GG shaders, but, I don't think SE care too much about this remake, probably a cheap nostalgia cashgrab.
I want to know what they are going to do with the late game, because was fucking shit in the SD3.

This is literally the most effort they have ever put into a Mana remake by a fucking landslide, and they absolutely had to thanks to the original game's immense reputation in Japan.

have to agree with this, out of all the remasters and remakes Square has done over the years this one is by far the most polished, which is a FAR CRY from the SoM remake. Only FF7R has more effort.

This look's like fucking shit. They turned SD3 into a fucking nu-YS clone. Granted it looks better than the SD2 remake the but that's a really low bar. Shame that it's one of my favorite franchise and this is what they are doing with it. We are never going to get a decent SD game again.

Nu Ys is literally the natural evolution of sd3 for 3D. What did you want instead?

Legend of Mana's only up sides were its graphics and sound. Everything else was a step down from Trials of Mana, which was already a janky mess at heart.

basically one horny doujin artist love riesz and it became a meme, creating a small doujin circle about SD3. He literally broke his phone when he got the news.

Unfortunately there no multiplayer in Trials of Mana but at least they hopefully rebalance the game so that shields are useful, duelists don't have that shitty dark saber spell only and that the dark side werewolf classes don't get shit on by god hand.

Legend of Mana is pretty unique and extremely comfy

2 player. there no official 3 player way to play SD3. You need an mod for that.

It also kinda glitchy so if you do, be careful.
