I play tekken 7 offline on this potato laptop. input seems fucky, combos drop when they shouldn't. AI always ducks my throws and seem to never be baited into AK low thows either.
Still, looks and feels better than playing T6 on ppsspp.

There's a rythm too it, you can't just spam 3+4 twice. It's hard for me to explain with text but 3+4, pause a quarter of a second, 3+4

The second 3+4 is easy enough but I can never get the timing down for the final ff1+2 grab, I'm always a little bit too slow and when I try to do it quicker I just do the tacke

I'm at Ryujin, I seem to be stuck there. 430 wins and a win rate of 70%. I'm changing my playstyle to one more agressive with Asuka.

The closest popular guy for beginners is The Main Man. There's also a general at /vg/. /tekgen/ has nice resources in the OP, not so much the people that post there.

I bought a stick and didn't like it at all. Keep in mind it will take quite a bit of adjusting. Might as well play on a keyboard, it works very well for fighting games.

I don't think anyone is stuck in greens. Either they are shit and havebeen playing since release and are orange because of rank inflation or picked up the game later and are light blue because everyone else is higher and there is no one to rank up off.

I played against a Geese that, I shit you not: ki charged at the end of every round, threw random shit, mashe and had over 2K wins and was still at green.

Kind of. He relies on good movement and punishment like Kazuya but can deal even more damage. He also has trouble opening up your opponent's guard unless you wavedash into your opponent's face and start doing throws.
