I never really got the specification down for making stands, but I had an idea for one anyhow.

its a close ranged stand that could rewind things to a previous state in time at a fast rate.
However, it can only go a couple minutes back in time, and it cant undo what it rewinds, for better or worse.
No Idea about grading of which stats though.

Not him but The Joykiller is excellent at decimating foes at a close range, and his latter moves continue to follow with that pattern.
Eventually he learns 'Contaminate', which is very useful since Joykiller is deadest on fucking people up close.
As long as you have somebody to cover your range problems, you're gonna have a blast.

No shit, I've probably drained out bosses MP with Sonic Youth Recital many times without even noticing, I always thought the SP drain was a leftover of the game engine and that bosses had infinite SP.

I think some fights would be impossible if that were the case.

If you inflict this status and then activate TimeStop, you will win any fight in the game barring like 2 or 3 superbosses.
The best DoT in the game is Dissolve/Digest which I think does 20% HP per turn. Don't go above that % unless you plan to have some drawback to the status effect, like the move inflicts everyone with the status.

As a miracle's user, the only parts that really screwed with me was the few fights that required you to be alone (my first run against Vins after Dio was hell). Thankfully I got Joseph up to level 40 so on my current NG+ I just Cunning Hermit everybody who looks at me funny.

I've started my first playthrough and I was wondering if a combination of Miracles and occasionally collapsing in town is as bad as it looks.

It's not that bad, just sleep from time to time.

Kinda yeah, if you had Caravan or Cardigans then the collapsing thing could be negated by them since they learn a move for that.
Plus Miracles is a fairly late bloomer.
If you rotated your saves around you could just not pick any of those things and be fine.

Make sure that you have another party member in case you collapse. If you're alone when you collapse, you will get a game over.

I have an idea for a stand that can trap sleeping people in a dream loop provided the user is at most 50 feet away at all times. The loop will replay a day of the user's choosing, and the target will constantly replay it, none the wiser
The caveats are: The user ALSO has to be in the dream world, while keeping the distance limitation, meaning it can prove difficult if the target does something like go into a private business area. Secondlu is that the target CANNOT be hurt in this state, inside or outside the dream world. Third, is that the loop isn't perfect 100% of the time, but most of the changes that happen in the world would be the fault of the user himself. Fourth, and lastly, if the target sees the stand in its true form, which will be visible to even non-stand users in the dream (but can only be reacted to by the target), the dream immediately ends with the target fully aware of what happened.
The stand's stats are all pretty bad to mediocre bar range. The stand, however, has ONE, non-offensive, defense. It has two "faces", one fake, standard looking (for stand standards anyways) one, and one grotesque one that is its true face. These faces are on the opposite sides of the body, but where this comes in as a defense, is that, in the dream world, it ALWAYS try show the upside down face as right-side up. Since this doesn't count as seeing the true form of the stand, it can be seen in this state without the dream ending.

It's hard when you try to force it, like a song that gives you ideas or can be dissected can be a good muse but just trying to make a song into a stand can be a chore. Then there's the issue of trying to make it either not overpowered/unbeatable or not making it completely pointless and useless.

A stand about 'trading'. It works in one of two ways. Either the user offers/demands something from the target. If the target know in his/her heart what a good 'price' would be for receiving/parting with this, [MONEYTALKS] makes sure the 'exchange' happens immediately. OR if a 'price' is already 'paid'/'received', and the target knows in their heart what they would be willing to accept/give up for it, [MONEYTALKS] can execute the 'transaction' retroactively.

A transaction can be anything, from paying money for items, getting to use someone's stand for a day for sparing their life, a target giving up use of their arms after dealing out a good punch, the possibilities are limitless.

[MONEYTALKS] does have a (humanoid) physical appearance, but cannot fight. In the event the 'transaction' involves something physical swapping owners, [MONEYTALKS] will take it from one and give it to the other.

Interesting concept, but seems a bit niche. I'd suggest upping its range and maybe increasing the number of 'lovers'. Maybe make it automatic too.
The direct involvement of the user seems like a drawback, especially since the stand can't deal any damage, even indirectly until the target gets volatile enough. Otherwise neat.
Power B? So the phantoms are stronger than the user? How do the phantoms interact with objects/eachother? Can a phantom wear multiple rings so it can split off later?
Getting protag vibes from this. The only thing that's unclear to me is whether only the stand turns into polygons, or the user itself too.
The humanoid part seems excess. I think it'd be more interesting if it were just the spray can itself, even though that'd be a lot like [CREAM STARTER].
Does the user have any control over these dreams? So far, it seems like [DEATH 13] but worse.
I like the versatility. How far would the concept of "stats" go outside of a game? What kind of aspects to a person could it increase/diminish?

If it's for a game, I usually try to come up with its 'function' first. As in its main mechanic that makes it unique from all other stands in the game.
For example, the first game had Miracles.
Miracles' gimmick is that it never dies. It's always able to inflict a status effect that makes the enemy unable to even touch you.
If you come up with a function like this first, it could be easier to make a power that revolves around it.
A completely original example would be a stand that causes the enemy to change distances.
Start off by thinking about how a stand ability is going to force an enemy to move to a distance they don't want to be in.
Perhaps a strong wind that pushes or pulls enemies? A scary being that forcefully triggers the fight or flight response? A big chain that wraps around an opponent and drags them closer?
Then after you figure all that out, it wouldn't be too difficult to find a music reference to go along with it after.

Kind of. I had in vision that as user grows in power, he can let items appear out of the dream world, as long as the affected is holding them. Be it voluntarily ot not.

Regardless, it sounds like a cool Stand.

The idea is whenever someone isn't being looked at by no one the stand activates and teleports the enemy to an isolated arena away from space and everyone else for a while where the target will have to fight the stand to get out but it only works against one person at a time. and if the target is in a group the group automatically forgets about them for a while which is the passive stand ability of kid a unless the target runs away which will make the effect disappear
