What was the dogma exactly?

Fuck ni-

Yeah. Spamming thousand kisses/arc of deliverance is peak big braining.

IT BEARS THE HEAD OF A C(O)CK

If you mean the lore I must disagree. Making something convoluted to the point that it bores the audience isn't an achievement.
I loved the game user but damn, it's poorly written.

Strength in numbers, Arisen

There was a whole plot and story there, but simply cut up to provide a final product. Itsuno will hopefully have more time and do us proud come DD2.

Ok, now end the cycle of eternal return.

You ought to know that

I've gained quest knowledge..

Aught.

WOLVES

That sacrificing one's dearest love is necessary to maintain balance in the world, should you be the chosen one. This is in homage to the fall from grace and subsequent demonization of god for facilitating the death of his lover.

Git gud nigger

Hopefully civilization is still in one piece when it actually comes out.

Don't expect to hear anything for like 2+ years

I don't expect to hear anything EVER. Is it even greenlit? Is it even CONCEPTUALIZED? Capcom has all but forgotten this game.

Itsuno said in an interview after DMCV was announced that Capcom gave him the go ahead for this or Dragons Dogma, and he chose to do another DMC. He's tweeted that he's started to work on his next project now DMCV is done, so people are already suspecting DD2 or something related.

Not only that, there's also a Netflix anime that's been announced to release.

Fuck Caxton

But you can't go wrong

So what we've got is only marginally better than conjecture. I don't expect the anime will ever see release - these things don't have much of a track record.

Just being in your presence fills this pawn with vigour arisen

If we ever do get it, it'll double down on the excessive japanime animations/classes we saw in DD:O, and shove in those beast races from the concept art that never should have been planned. Meanwhile the cool shit will be poorly implemented and/or removed.

The pawns are adorable, ngl. I bet they do sexual favors for the Arisen when the Arisen gets really stressed out.

>I don't expect the anime will ever see release
It's literally listed on Netflix, just not released yet.

>muh wife and child
why is it so hard for normies to empathize with the concept of wanting to just regain your humanity?

>dragon's dogma online is shutting down
>never got a shot in the west, where 80% of DD sales were
Fuck capcom and fuck dragon's dogma, I hope 2 never happens

Goblin Slayer is a good DD anime already.

Japanese executives are really good at being tone deaf.

That synopsis is a major boner killer.
Agreed. The Arisen and their immortality is an awesome concept.

>your presence fills this pawn with vigour
I want to fill my pawn with more than just vigour...

Attached: One day...jpg (926x864, 87K)

Netflix is canning everything

No idea. Lesser brain capacity? Shit upbringing, no education etc. Unfortunately because these people are still the majority the industries will cater to them because it makes companies the most money.

Except Obama's shit.

It's Capcom, mostly. Capcom is remarkably good at listening to feedback and doing the exact opposite of what the customers want.

>That synopsis is a major boner killer.
Yeah, sorry user. It killed my boner too when I first seen it.

They really are great aren't they. I can't understand how anybody can hate that part of the game. you just know

I've heard whispers about the Japanese indie scene, but beyond Cave Story and my low tolerance for weebshit I don't know what's good or even what exists.

>Agreed. The Arisen and their immortality is an awesome concept.
Already been done, kind of.

>Thousand Kisses
>Not Skullspitter
>Arc of Deliverance
>Not light jumping attack
Found the low IQ

And I fucking love that movie. I'd love to see a darker take on the idea. Like that one game Capcom made in 2012, can't remember the name...

To Sunlite: brontide sucks.
To siliconmage: Alsiel sucks.
To DorkSaint: Esther smells like a poisoned undead...
To Cliff: Lennox spends to much time looking at the abyss.
To MadxHatter: Vincent is no more allowed in BBI (too much lightning).
To Effin: Uncle Dante is no more allowed anywhere (too much CUHRAZY).

Drakengard obviously.

Its an American thing for the change. Typically, the main star is changed to be more relatable, bad ass, special, or middle class.

You see this a lot when other shows get remade for the states as bums get turned into doctors, students, etc.

T'is true.

Is it rape to fuck my pawn? Or can they actually say no?

>wide empty field with fucking nothing to do until you reach some shallow quest location
>one big city only
>reoccuring meme monsters
>no mods
>no sex mods so you can fuck pawns

sorry but even vanilla Skyrim was better.

>no mods
Are you retarded? As for the other shit it was because they had to scrap most of what was planned.

They have no will, it's similar ethically to fucking a plant

Dragon's Dogma has Skyrim beat not only in melee combat but in the execution of magic as well. Skyrim is just a mediocre amalgamation of many minor things that would have likely been forgotten about by now if not for its rampant porn mod scene.

Did I accidentally travel back through fucking time again? Haven't seen some of those names in years.

>walking around bbi with uncle dante and lamashtu
Those were the times

>Taught my fighter pawn to be a night invincible super god of parrying
>Barely anyone ever rented him because he wasn't a loli or big tiddy woman, just a tall black dude
I miss my nigga Charles

I hated how it was always the loli that people hired.

But we’ve learned in the game that pawns can potentially become human as the witch did.

>he didn’t advertise his pawn on /ddg/

user, I'm not sure how to tell you this.

That's probably because he was a fighter. Even if he was really good, fighter pawns don't bring much to the table to begin with, and once you set foot in BBI they are more of a burden than anything else. Warriors also suffered from this, save for Uncle Dante, who was autisticly trained to be CUHRAZY enough to warrant a slot in anyone's team. Shilling your pawn on /ddg/ also helped.

I hope they don’t ruin her in the netflix show and try to turn her into some sort of feminist icon

You could literally leave uncle dante alone to solo bbi.

You were fooled by Yea Forums the game is shit and I will explain why:

>No indication of where roads lead
>No hint to what enemies are weak to
>No hint of when enemies are alone or in groups
>No warning to avoid status effects
>No clue to which items are masterworks

I don't know how people defend this game.

Attached: approval.gif (500x288, 2.59M)

>see all these loli pawns
>decide fuck that
>made my pawn a proud strong tall warrior tank
>she's ignored and never summoned but keep training her hard
>take ages to teach her how to actually tank and take agro properly
>prioritize her gear over mine
>Eventually get a killing blow on online ur-dragon because I kept stalking grace periods for weeks, immediately give her the loot
>people finally notice her for the good girl she is
>she keeps being rented and they leave me gifts and great ratings

Never thought I could be so proud of a bunch of pixels.

Attached: ss (2018-12-17 at 08.42.10).jpg (997x680, 170K)

How do you train your pawns?

Because that's a really weird concept unless you're incredibly familiar with east asia which is the only place I know of that has ever conceptualised humanity in that sort of way. You're just used to it so no longer see it as weird.

On my last playthrough I stole the girl in his shop from him.

>thot
why would you do this

Abilitywise just make them clones of yourself and play optimally pretty much
For fighter pawns you have to show them how to parry every attack in the game

The combat is fun but gets old after awhile, dunno how people can sink hundreds of hours into it

The world itself is just too shallow to put a lot of time in for me, towns are basically just a place to shop and nothing else, and the map is pretty bland overall

Also there isnt one memorable quest.

unironically git gud

That's why I miss the game the most, desu. /DDG/ pulled insane shit with their pawns, rangers like claire or lamashtu, sorcerers that did nothing but spam brontide/lightning like beatrice or alsiel, the infamous dante. And everyone legit helped each other, truly too good for this world and board.
inclinations, bestiary, and autism.

There are several guides online but it’s supposedly quite complex because they adopt strategies depending on how you fight enemies. I remember reading in a guide that playing the same class as your pawn can help teach them strategies for that class.

Your actions affect a pawn's inclination basically which affects how they act

>see all these loli pawns
>decide fuck that, I can make a loli three times as cute and five times as useful
>drown in RC thanks to /ddg/

Attached: good shit beta.gif (435x337, 557K)

Yeah just absolutely fuck anyone who says pawn teaching is a bullshit. There was a huge difference between random reddit sorcerer that literally never casted a single spell and sorcerer from /ddg/ that would just fucking spam spells like some wizard god while jumping at the very last second to dodge the attack. Other classes weren't that bad because even the shittiest warrior or ranger would at least attack every now and then.

How do i train a good warrior pawn?

based

>see all these loli
>decide fuck that
I like the way you think.

It’s more complicated than that actually. They learn actual strategies from watching you play. It’s probably the most convoluted system in the game and a great deal of autism went into it.

Looks like shit, and is a terrible mix of slutwear and modesty/practicality.

Attached: 1543901795525.jpg (300x300, 96K)

this game is the most fun piece of shit honestly. like it isn't good, but it's fantastic. i have no fucking clue what i was doing the whole time. but it was a blast

>Also there isnt one memorable quest.
fucking bullshit. I played the game once literally years ago and never touched it again (although I did put over 100 hours in it back then) and I remember a bunch of quests strongly.
The duel with best girl, the witch in the forest's quest line, that dude who wanted to be an adventurer but kept sucking at it

checked

Jump attacks and dodging

Good to see my girl still remembered after so long.

Attached: Dragon's Dogma_ Dark Arisen Screenshot_.jpg (1920x1080, 407K)

>they only care about the looks

I literally just slapped the best gear I had on her, christ all you people care about is if a pawn is cute.

You’ll have to read a guide. There were some good ones in /ddg/ but unfortunately the general died. I remember a lot of it had to do with the commands, so you had to use a lot of commands to teach your pawn when/how to act. After a while they just start doing the shit you expect on their own.

He lived a tough life. I'd add to that that BBI's quest line was pretty damn great by having a great climax and delivery

Attached: 1565997527356.jpg (640x480, 351K)

I'm pretty sure I still have lamashtu hired on my ps3 save because I was scared if I ever unhire her I would lose her forever. Especially after /ddg/ died.

Inclinations can be changed through the potions too.

Well yeah, but in actual game terms, your pawn's inclination slides due to your actions, and they would "pick things up" in the sense that they'd have stars filled by 'seeing' the arisen do things. It's complicated for sure just because of all the things on the scale that add up to a reaction in your pawn

Give her an under shirt and pants and she'd probably look fine.

Attached: 1534572222671.png (197x185, 92K)

Playing dragon's dogma without focusing at least a little effort on fashion is like playing half a game

-ggers

This. You had to find that right balance of fashion, skills, looks, and perfect traning and inclinations.

The thing is there is an element aside of the inclinations. For instance, one user mentioned warrior jump attacking. If you play as a warrior with a warrior pawn and jump attack often, the pawn will start doing the same, even though there is no specific inclination for jump attacking. Some people were very autistic about training their pawns and it was like the ultimate endgame for them.

>want to try new class
>play others to get their specific skills first
>get all the skills and play the new class
>get bored and go back to based Sorcerer
Every time.

Yea Forums hypes this game so hard, but I really dont dig it

Ive played through so many old school RPGs (Dungeon Siege 1+2, Buldars Gate, Diablo etc), but for me DD is just too janky

This game is nothing like those games. I don't understand the comparison

>Feminism, feminism, politics, leftists, SJWs, trannies!
Unironically, Yea Forums is the place I hear about this shit the most. I literally hear more bitching about feminism than I hear about feminism. If we all collectively unbunched our panties about it then maybe we wouldn't have to hear about it at all.

How does she fall for the Arisen not even after speaking with him?

She doesn't

She doesn't, she just uses the Arisen to get out of the fucked up duke, did you even play her quest. iirc she even apologizes for using you in the end.

Got the sliders for the male?

Oh I played it a long time ago can't remember the dialogue after saving her.

The alternative is a crazy person who strangles her nightly screaming "LEEEENOOOOOOOORE!"

She must love you though because it pretty much locks her in for Grigori unless you go out of your way to undo it.

>see her getting strangled
>just take your time looting her panties

Its one of those random English words the Japanese latch onto. Between this game and SRW T they clearly think the word means "magic" instead of "systen of religious rules'

>Get tortured all night
>Sneak out of prison
>Show up for work the next day
>Duke doesn't care
>Nobody cares

The only woman you should trust and love in this game is Madeleine.

Nobody cares that I throw that guard into the Everfall every time I walk past either.

That's Uncle Dante m8. If you're looking for his sliders you're shit out of luck, Effin quit a long time ago.

Why didn't the Duke just have the Arisen killed the moment he arrived at Gran Soren? He's jeopardising his own life.

Hi me, how's things

I like having him as a wife for easier access to Makers Finger when I can't be bothered with some enemies.

Probably thought they weren't going to make it very far, being from some inbred fishing village in bumfuck nowhere and all. His hubris bit him in the ass in the end.

How the fuck is that dragons dogma in any way except for there being a fucking dragon?

Gotta cater to the normies, or it could be based on Savan? We don't really know his story.

I have her on ps4 as well, and she's just as good. Give her a try if you can.

As much of an annoying twat his daughter is, chaperoning her around town was a fun quest.

It's happening dude, we're just in the phase where nothing can really be said about it because intellectual property and embryo stages of development

He'd probably have to do it discreetly since all the towns people hear about it and find it hopeful.
Even then you think the Arisen would go down that easily?
It's also possible he didn't really understand the Dragon's bargain. He accuses you of conspiring against him because he doesn't seem to know what happens if the dragon dies.

Nothing is confirmed, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Dude, all the things I just said all but give an official confirmation. You can hold out to not get hyped up, but it's happening.

There should have been choice to let King strangle her and then use that stony thing to revive her.

Reminder that the Dragon can reject the cycle too, but the results are far worse if the Dragon decides it wants to use its power to be a good guy.

Because choosing between immortality and stopping the dragon is too big a decision for small brains.
