How easy is to get into BlazBlue's lore and story? I have all 4 games on steam, is there anything I need to know before going through it? How straightfoward is it?

Who did the character art for the latest iteration of BB? Whoever did the character art for Xrd shouldn't be in charge of it in the new game. It looked terrible.

no they don't. I'm not saying Xrd has the most original art in the world but it's originality is what sparks so many conflicting opinions about it.
the only conflict you ever see about CF's art is about how much you can take the generic anime style.

Oh you're correct, I should have said that CF's art is far from generic anime shit considering it looks better than most generic anime shit like Trails, Tales, Digimon's current character art and Ys.

don't get me wrong, I actually probably like CF's art more than Xrd's, even if I do think it's more generic.
But again I've been a weeb my whole life so maybe I've seen too much fanart to atribute style originality to CF. The designs aren't that generic in themselves I think, and we could get into how artstyle and designs are fundamentally linked, and I agree, but mostly I just think CF's art does a good job of conveying the character designs but doesn't add that much to it. Sorry if I sounded like an ass.

Some designs in Blazblue are pretty good like Hakumen, Relius, Izanami and the robot girls, but most are all over the place with retarded shit like Rachel's heels and the ninja's shoes. The portraits in both games are fantastic, though
