None of them have a single chance at all because THEY'RE ALL FUCKING SPIRITS.
Honestly, we could've gone on and on arguing about whether or not being a Spirit completely voids a character's chances back when we didn't know much about Piranha Plant or the Fighter's Pass, but now we can clearly see that all of the DLC characters so far have been ones that have no representation as a Spirit in the base game, and it's pretty god damn likely the rest are gonna follow suit. Give it up already.

If they weren't already spirits, I would have guessed Shantae and Krystal had the best chance. Because they're some of the few characters from Japanese polls that still haven't gotten in. But Sakurai nipped that bud at launch.

You should have jumped on the Dragon Quest band wagon then. That character had the best chance to get in, then he did. Shantae has no chance of getting in this game because she's already in it. She might be playable next game. And that's still a big maybe. I'd say Krystal has a better chance than she does, because Krystal is higher on Japanese polls and Sakurai has added every other Rare character that has appeared on the polls.
