Even if he finishes the first rival he's going to throw out most of the work because he has no plan for how all the murders and interactions will carry over to subsequent weeks and affect gameplay.

Well, see, he has 0 serious programming knowledge and makes his game by copying YouTube tutorials of the worst kind.
His programming is so bad, a programmer hired by TinyBuild for him had to redo his code from scratch, but since YandereDev ended up not understanding any of the better coding, he fired him.
This way he can spend most of his days doing barely anything, accept fan models, animations, and other assets as well as voice acting and inserts them all just before he does his video update to keep that patreon money flowing.

Who even gives a shit about this any more? Anyone who did has already seen the shitty result. I'm looking forward to when it crashes and burns for good.

It's not about optimization. If he grouped this shit into functions it would already be an order of magnitude better.

making your code easier to read and work with is also optimisation because you optimise your own workflow by needing only edit in one place of the function and not in seven places of copypaste

He's a complete noob at video game development and thought they could make this big, grandiose video game. But they ended up failing at every turn and had to resort to outside help multiple times which they remove from their project due to shit reasons then they went back to doing things themselves again while also leaching off his fans for things like Voice Acting, Models, and etc. He's in over his head and this project of his will fail, seen this type of shit happen all the time. If the fag ever left his fans they'll prob attempt to recreate his project if they ever left and the guy prob knows this.

By next year his patreon will be less then 2K a month. So it won't be worth it in the long run.
