OK, that sounds promising. And the environmental and enemy variety looks a lot better than the first one. Still though, I'm a bit skeptical after the first one. There wasn't anything horribly wrong with it per say, it was just incredibly banal and unoriginal. There wasn't much to it beyond "hey dude, it's a Dark Souls clone in a robot factory with a couple gimmicks tacked on."

I played the network test and liked it; it was pretty much Dark Souls 1 with a Tokyo Ghoul skin.
Preordered it on Steam.

You can pretty much make your own hair style with the different types of bangs they have by increasing/decreasing their size and changing positioning

It looks like a "anime cash in" game. You know the ones. Jump Force, Attack on Titan, My Hero One's Justice, a lot of Jojo games. Where they only voice act 20% of the time and the rest is text boxes or cutscenes where your character is just there. It may sound like I'm reaching but I just don't see playing this game in the long run.

Played it at Gamescom. It's alright. The combat is a bit faster than expected, the weapons feel satisfying but the enemies hardly react even to a fully charged heavy attack most of the time. The partner system is actually pretty cool, I didn't expect it to make so many differences in combat. That being said, cool design aside, Mia was fucking useless in my playthrough. The big tittied female boss was pretty cool and had multiple phases. I actually wasn't able to beat her in time.

Better than I expected, so I might buy it when it's on sale.

It's not about the lack of voice acting. It just feels low effort when you include less than 9 fully animated cutscenes but every side quest or character outside of cutscene just slides into frame does a recylced animation and slides back into A pose
