Not OP but I'm kind of thinking it'll be a resident evil and crash. I just dont see any other likely candidates. Doom guy sort of seems impossible somehow. Like some executive somewhere is just gonna say no on that one. Sora is too tangled in copyright. Steve is absolutely goofy and idk, even if Minecraft IS on switch, I think that as a game it competes with a lot of Nintendo's Mario stuff and brings them to PC and Xbox and away from Nintendo consoles.
I was right about dragon quest and banjo and Simon and Ridley and inkling. I was even right about meta Knight way back when. So take it from me.
Capcom seems willing to play ball, the re2 remake's art style wasn't too bleak, I could see a blue ass R.P.D. eating herbs and rolling around in smash. Jokers got a gun so anything's possible. Also for the record I didn't call joker but nobody did.
And the crash IP is doing alright and back from the grave. He'd make a good mascot to fight around with, which is sort of the whole point of the game going back to the first one. If Sonic and banjo can make it crash can for exactly the same reasons.
