As much as I love 2, I felt like it was retreading 1 too much. Max also isn't as memorable as the absurdly cocky guy on a suicide mission he was in Max Payne or the depressive fuckup alcoholic wallowing in self pity turned into a righteously angry berzerker who's done feeling sorry for himself he is in Max Payne 3.
I wouldn't say this is a flaw, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the people in charge of the levels from 2 spent all their time watching Chow Yun Fat movies and then making levels out of the sets.
