Facial animations are a lot more fun if you allow yourself to take a few steps away from photorealism. But everyone wants to look like a live-action movie these days regardless of whether they have the time and budget for it.

1st playthrough as Ventrue male was Giovanni (which made infiltrating Giovanni manor very confusing). I sucked La Croix's dick and got a suite for it, then opened the sarcophagus for myself.
2nd playthrough as Malkavian female was Titania. I took the wild out of wildcard by cosying up to the Anarchs for 4/5ths of the game, then working with Strauss at the end anyways.
Currently playing through as a male Nosferatu called Munchkin (because I used the character select glitch to give me maximum stats in everything, I just want to see the Nossy-specific stuff). Probably gonna work with the evil chinks this time.

My favorite of these "minor families" is the Pisanob. who manage Mexico for the Giovanni. Their leader is an ancient Aztec who was embraced during the early days of colonization.
Other families include the Scottish bankers/cannibals the Dunsirn, the Della Passaglia who managed the old Asian trade routes and most recently the Milliners based in Boston who were behind JFK's assassination and the general misfortune of the Kennedy family over a grudge.
Through these families the Giovanni are the only vampire "clan" worthy of being called a Clan. A connected family of families.

Valez has a secret though.
She maintains watch over her mortal grand-daughter Josefina secretly keeping her safe and comfortable. If any other Sabbat knew this she'd be immediately seen as having mortal weakness and likely executed.
They appear in a cutscene upon returning from the Elizabeth Dane I think. It's only for about 5 seconds as you walk in to lacroix's office. Except for Gary Golden and Maximillian Strauss they use generic models.

Personally the biggest flaw for me is that it is way too restrictive.
Revised edition had all 13 clans. V5 had only the Camarilla 7 + thin bloods. The Sabbat are reduced to being barely a faction. The Independant Clans are all gone or joined the Camarilla/Anarchs. Elders are no longer active. Another inquisition means all vampires need to be in cosntant hiding mode. All the new technology which marks this age should be exciting to mesh with Vampire but instead technology in 5th is all against Vampire (Camarilla doesnt allow cell phones because of the Inquisition)

His physical stats are literally listed as simply "Karsh swings his sword and enemies fall". Outside of that he has the exact same stats as Jalan Aajav. After the Giovanni the Lasombra have always been competing with the Ventrue as my 2nd favorite clan. They are very alike. Perhaps to the point of originality . But I think the differences can be gleaned even simply by looking at their disciplines. Both have dominate. But while the Ventrue have Fortitude the Lasombra have Potence. The Ventrue are more cautious and take measures to prevent disaster. The Lasombra are more willing to get their hands dirty and bash faces in. The Ventrue have presence, they dont want to only control but inspire awe and reverence, they draw power from their subjects. Play Bloodlines if you haven't. Introduces the whole world really well. Get v20, read most of it (you don't need to memorize every skill, etc), then if you like any particular clan a lot, you can get their clan book or a XCity By Night for a more detailed setting. But everyrhing you need is in the core book.
