My team is High Pixie, Inugami, and Angel. I know my team comp has to be off because they're weak to force, but I'm not a high enough level to actually fuse anything better.

bump

This gets no replies but waifu threads get 100s.

>Get demons who can resist wind attacks.
>USE BUFFS, RETARD (Sukukaja/Sukunda in this case)

Should I ever fuse pixie? A friend of mine told me that I can get something useful out of her later if I kept her.

You identify your problem here, so what do you need from us. Stop using people weak to force. You're literally just giving the boss extra turns for no reason, and you're definitely NOT too low leveled to get something better. Stop being lazy, go recruit some better demons, and enjoy your easy win.

You can always pull her out of the compendium later for a fee

Fuse her away, just don't use her in a sacrifice fusion. The pixie will always be in the first slot of your demon list, so just don't sacrifice that one and you'll be fine

For easy mode, level your inugami to 17 so it evolves.

Stop using shit weak to force
Use evasion/hit buffs and debuffs
That's literally all you need

Any demons I should gun for right now? I have quite a few to fuse I'm just unsure what could be considered good right about now.

Look for ones that are either immune to his element or resistant. Barring that look for dodge buffs or debuffs.

>dying in a RPG
I seriously hope none of you actually do this
It’s just menus, bro

I'm surprised you don't know how to beat him purely by seeing these matador threads on Yea Forums for literally the past decade

I never bothered to get into this series until I played p3, than I beat 4 and 5 and started looking for SMT games to play. I was told to try this one first and I'm liking it so far.

I also played P3, and 4 before getting into the main series. It's a good game, you just buff your evasions or grind the demon the other user said to 17 for easy win. Digital Devil Saga and Raidou Kuzonahara or whatever are good games too if you need more

Should I look up a list of what demons evolve? Or would that just ruin the game for me?

If you get really stuck, level the Wadatsumi magatama until it gives you fog breath, that lets you basically just walk all over Matador

get uzume, the force resist magatama from the sewer vendor, maybe nozuchi and all the buffs/debuffs you can get

You literally have to grind and level up to be able to fuse something immune/drain force. That's it. Yeah, that's what mainline fags consider "difficulty"

What are some other games in the SMT series that I could play after this? I've heard strange journey and digital devil saga are also really good.

I don't really think that its been super difficult so far, this is just the first hurdle I've hit, and I really enjoy the atmosphere of a destroyed Tokyo.

>Get Nozuchi
>Get any demon that learns Sukukaja or Sukunda
Literally all you need to make Matador a cakewalk

Get Nozuchi and Uzume.

After Nocturne, DDS1+2 are a good choice to play. After that, any of the 3DS SMTs that interests you.

DDS1 and 2 are also great SMT games

Thanks guys. Which do you think that I should play first? I'm making a list of RPGs to play while I'm at uni.

You git gud or alternatively, get Uzume. She can last you for the entire game.

in that order

Wtf is happening here

tetrakarn

Out of curiosity since we played the Persona games in the same order. Which one is your favorite?

Also why does the protagonist go into a hospital basement that's filled with these bloodstains and not immediately call the police? It's like he was asking to get nearly murdered by a lunatic.

Persona 4 stands out for being the game that I actually miss playing the most, I think the game does a really good job of making the party likable and fun. It was probably the game that made me have almost like a post-game depression, as autistic as that sounds. Persona 3 was good, but not being able to control party members really ruined it for me. I also like games where the protagonist dies in order to protect something or someone, so it was probably my favorite storywise. Persona 5 is very eh, even though it has maybe the best soundtrack out of any of the games. The characters are probably my least favorite, except for Yusuke, he's pretty funny. Other than that it probably has the best social links outside of the main party.

I know I didn't really answer the question in the other post, but my favorite overall was Persona 3, it has the best atmosphere and the characters in the part are flawed but still have the best SLs.

Yeah I agree for the most part. Persona 3 has a slow start but the last few months are kino. Persona 5 has a very solid start but loses wind very fast. Persona 4 probably has the best pacing overall since the anime hijinks don't feel out of place. Gameplay obviously gets better over the course of the games which 5 succeeds in and 3 suffers for. I personally think 3 has the strongest cast though.

For me it's 3>4>5 but that's just my opinion.

gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps2/582958-shin-megami-tensei-nocturne/answers/355863-how-do-i-beat-matador

Not too bad, but these are the correct listings.

3
>Yukari, Aigis, Mitsuru, Fuuka
4
>Chie, Naoto, Rise, Yukiko
5
>Ann, Makoto, Haru, Futaba

Its more of a SMT/Persona thread at this point, I think most of the tips were posted already.

That linked one is the only absolutely correct solution, though.

Fog breath.
Learn it and keep it for the whole game. It is a great ability.

No.
Not just any pixie will do, for that part. It stroctly has to be the first demon you received (that SPECIFIC Pixie), or whatever it has been fused into (even through multiple fusions).

good taste user

Get Uzume.
Use buffs.
Use debuffs.
Equip Hifumi magatama
