She just seems really distant in 3 to be honest. Like she barely spoke with my Shepard despite being loyal to her for three games and seeking her out between every mission. She only really softened up and felt like 1 Liara at the very end. Just felt pretty silly.

Completely different for me, when I romanced no-one she talked to me the most and seemed to be one of the only people who gave a shit about my state of mind.

Jack paid off well with the Citadel DLC and I like how it resonated with the ending, just a shame she basically had no presence in 3.

Tali is still the cutest thing on the Normandy but getting shafted to late game in 2 and 3 sucks.

Ashley is still the only pure, non-degen romance.

That's because of the debs pushing her hard in 3. She had a major character shift between 1&2 and she acknowledges it when she breaks down in LotSB. In 3, it just felt like they took her 2 persona and made her "flawless"

That mission happens regardless of her. She's just involved if she's recruited or survived.
