Best post. I hate how more games don't do this. Gaming the system of currency conversion rates is almost as fun as acquiring money itself.

This. It's a really underutilized concept. Fallout New Vegas did it relatively well, with NCR dollars and Legion Aureus, but it ends up just being a "please convert me to caps" button. I wish that more games would do something like only accept currencies that are a staple of that specific region, or else you'd have to convert it at a dedicated point, so that way you'd have to watch your money and manage it well.
South Park: The Stick of Truth does it with Dollars and Canadian Dollars.

I love the Legion coins
Hey SpaceFaggots,
My name is SpaceJohn, and I hate every single one of you. All of you are spacefat, spaceretarded, spaceno-lifes who spend every spacesecond of their day looking at stupid ass spacepictures. You are everything bad in the galaxy. Honestly, have any of you ever gotten any spacepussy? I mean, I guess it's fun making fun of spacepeople because of your own spaceinsecurities, but you all take to a whole new spacelevel. This is even worse than jerking off to spacepictures on spacefacebook.
Don't be a spacestranger. Just hit me with your best spaceshot. I'm pretty much spaceperfect. I was spacecaptain of the spacefootball team, and starter on my spacebasketball team. What spacesports do you play, other than "jack off to naked drawn Japanese spacepeople"? I also get straight A's, and have a banging hot spacegirlfriend (She just blew me; Shit was SO spacecash). You are all spacefaggots who should just kill yourselves. Thanks for listening.

Quest for Glory. Finding the Money changer is usually the first thing you do in each sequel.
Salt and Sanctuary has salt and gold as independent currencies.

NCR money being worth less than legion money equivalent was an interesting point, showed how the NCR was on shaky ground despite appearances.
