Eos had heals (base heal, regen, damage reduction ability, and healing increase) while Selene had support stuff. (Base heal, Silence, Esuna, speed increase ability)
They wanted to get rid of her speed increase, there was no point in her Silence (Silences were replaced with interrupts, which they only want tanks and Ranged Physical to have), and her Esuna was pointless for a while anyway.

Leviathan has a mechanic that forces the ranged to split between the tail and head. One will get a buff that blocks ranged physical attacks, one will get a buff that blocks ranged magical attacks. Melee don't have to deal with it because they should always be on tail.
I think it gets weird with RDM because Fleche and Contre Six are considered ranged physical attacks despite the rest of their shit being magical.

If you want to be lazy, you could just Custom Delivery/Namazu one up to 70, then (since it's the only option besides collectables) grind it up to 80 through leves while you do the same on another one.

Emoting can just as easly be done with putting some on your hotbar and just by pressing the d-pad down or up you can cycle through the party list, not that you have to do that because you can also just but a macro on your hotbar that does it for you. And you can even use both a keyboard and a controller if you really wanted too.

It's just that crit scales exponentially so it edges out in higher tier.

if you just follow the hints (as he said he was doing) you're always either directed towards yakuhai or riichi, both of which are easy to complete. the hint system goes full retard on discards but that may not matter all that much if you don't have the tile someone needs in the first place

I've got a soft-spot for Dreadwyrm (not Ultimate Dreadwyrm) weapons, I saw a SMN with a Dreadwyrm Grimoire glamour once and was impressed and I keep a Dreadwyrm Rapier on my RDM for a pop of blue on 70's artifact gear.
