The thing people are angry about is that back in the day, when you died, you left a corpse. When you resurrected, that corpse became a bonepile. Bonepiles were unlimited, each player could leave multiple bonepiles, and bonepiles had a set time limit before despawning.

The problem with this is that gold sellers abused this to advertise their websites, and people occasionally abused it to spell slurs or swasticas. Blizzard is nipping this at the bud by simply limiting the amount of bone piles one person can leave behind to 1.

It's not a big deal, but people in this thread want to pretend it is.

Ferals are one of the best levelers. Bears are decent off tanks. Balance is a meme (but can be unironically good in pvp if you're god-tier). Resto is okay. None of these specs are good enough for the minmaxing tryhards, which is why druids are never talked about, but you can easily play as one and enjoy it if you like the playstyle

Druids are the worst healer but they are good enough. You will never be in a situation where you are playing well against a boss yet can't beat it because you have 4 resto druids.
Feral is a bit more iffy but I guess you can sneak one or two in depending on the raid group.
Balance cannot be done outside of pvp, mana consumption is simply too much to handle.

I have a group of friends that all want to level together, and I thought that Druid would be a good fit. That, and I enjoyed playing Resto in BC and WotLK; though, ultimately, I want to help in BGs.

The only way a druid will outperform a holy paladin in healing is if the paladin spent 2/3 of the fight reapplying the 5 minute buff instead of using the greater blessings (which will be in from release).
