Honestly, Half Life 2.

On a second playthrough when you don't have to spend minutes searching for some dumbfuck switch or ladder or figuring out how see-saws work for the fourth time it becomes the most frantic run n' gun gameplay in the genre. Sprinting through, mag dumping into the face of some combine mook, bunny hopping and motor boating. It's an absolute thrill of a game.

For instance, a level 99 weapon has something like 25% less recoil than the same weapon in the hands of a new player.
