与えた攻撃の衝撃で、都度敵の体が反応するため、「痛撃を与えた感」がより感じられるようになっています。

tl;dr: they acknowledged that in the previous network test, things like staggers and knockbacks only worked when you enter a damage threshold and broke the enemy's poise, which imo really sucked as it made a lot of enemies into hp sponges. Now for the release build, they aim to make at least normal attacks have a visible damage feedback on the enemy.
I hope they manage to pull this off well.

I think they're talking about improving monster dying animations. I'm not sure what they particularly mean about this but one thing that bugged me with the network test was how stiff the monsters were when dying. It looked especially bad when you were killing them during mid-animation they would sometimes suddenly t-pose/neutral then snap into their dying animation. I hope they would smooth that out.

That would make sense. That one e-celeb talked about how that was his only major complaint. Hopefully all of this makes the combat feel better. I already love the mechanics.

From the gameplay, it seems like Io as a companion does very little damage with her halberd, but is very aggressive and staggers enemies a lot. She also is very good at dodging

Speaking of Mia, I've noticed that she's able to shoot two different kinds of shots now. Red bullets travel slowly, but they have more of an impact once they hit. Blue bullets can be fired rapidly.

I suggest looking up videos by FightingCowboy. He seems to be the best youtuber for this game since he at least understands the mechanics.

Besides the basics, it's pretty different from Souls. For one, you have companions you can bring alongside you. Don't know too much about how they work, but they are usually competent and watch your back.
Three very important mechanics are the Ichor, Gift, and Blood Code system. Ichor is essentially the mana of the game, and you use it to cast Gifts. There are a few ways to get Ichor back. Attacking the enemy regularly restores Ichor based on your weapon's drain rating. Drain attacks restore Ichor and increase your maximum capacity. Items give you a set amount of Ichor back. Resting at a Mistle, Code Vein's version of Bonfires, restores your Ichor completely, but resets you cap. Gifts are the spells of Code Vein, and it is encouraged that you use them a lot. Whenever you meet certain conditions with a Gift, you "master" it, which allows you to use it with a different Blood Code. Blood Codes are the classes of Code Vein, and they have different stats and gifts. You can mix-and-match this to create your own class, essentially.

We don't know anything for sure yet but there are some interesting things regarding milk lore. The first being the fact that you the MC and Jack seem to have some compatibility with the Queen's blood and possibly some personal connection with her. It is likely she is directly responsible for guiding some of the events you experience via her anime vampire plot powers. The second is that the two of you -COINCIDENTALLY- happen to have amnesiac revenant blowup dolls that follow you around everywhere, these being Eva and Io. The parallels between you and Jack are pretty obvious, and this draws some comparison between Eva and Io. Eva has some ability to interact with some bullshit artifact called the Godshell or something. This is obviously highly plot relevant and thus has some connection with the Queen. Io in some fairly nefarious sounding dialogue early on mentions that she has no idea who she is but feels a vague understanding that she's supposed to assist you, almost as though this is her programming. I find it highly likely that the Queen is looking for people that are compatible with her blood and then providing them with mind-wiped anime waifus meant to protect them and operate the Godshell on their behalf in order to complete the plot. What that actually means I have no clue, but hey, free brainwashed waifu.

So far, yeah. Berserker does as the name suggests: focuses on heavy weaponry and has a very low dexterity stat/Ichor cap. Don't recall the specifics for the rest. Aset in the Network test focused even more on offensive magic and was the best class. Prometheus is an all rounder that focuses on dodging

different variations in stats, passives and abilities they have. cool thing is that you can learn the passive and abilities from them then use them with other classes to make your ideal build

2. You're wielding 7 foot long swords, yet they all seem to stop short, their reach needs to be adjusted, or the weapon size needs to be reduced, I should be able to hit an enemy standing 4 feet away with a 7 foot hunk of metal
3. Said weapons also feel like they have no actual weight to them, again you're wielding a 7 foot long piece of metal, when you hit an enemy it should actually feel like they've been hit, instead of shrugging it off like a towel snap.
4. The players character model is out of scale with the rest of the NPC models at the hideout, either they need to be scaled up or you need to be scaled down
5. There needs to be an option to hide the battle jacket they give you considering how much time people put in to customizing their character only to have a generic jacket thrown on them when they go in to the field.
6. All those additional hair options in the cosmetic tab that take up 4 or 5 space slots, instead of being in the hair section with their own amount limit.

I had better examples back when the alpha was fresh in my head, but these are the only ones I could actually remember.
