You can't replay those golden missions in the Definitive edition which is really dumb. I loved doing that cleaver survival mission over and over again.

The graphic "updates" they did made the game look a bit worse but I still prefer definitive over original because they integrated DLCs so that the game doesn't dump all the money and cheating upgrades on you right from the beginning. That shit ruined the game for me and you had to delete those DLCs from the game folder manually.

The date gimmick was awful in SD though? It led to nothing and you had one mission per chick. It was totally pointless.
The pacing of the story in SD is awful. I actually really like the game, but in the few times ive played through I always feel like the wedding assault mission shows up out of nowhere and they should have padded out that period before the wedding with a few more missions with you and the antagonists. Still a good game though. Best iteration of that piss easy combat system ive seen.

The Chinese experience

You did a bunch of errand to help the wedding leading up to it, seemed fine to me. After that the story definitely got weaker for me, was like they had a clear idea of the ending and just needed some busywork to fill time till you got there.

GTA would be saved with a revamped martial arts system like Sleeping Dogs, even if it is Batman+

You drive the chick around to get the dress and you save the cake in the van. I mean there should have been some direct contact with the other triad gangs getting more and more serious leading to them storming the wedding. The story definitely does start to fall apart though.
