Once you've gotten enough villagers and built stuff for them to interact with, you'll be getting shitloads of hearts. Just buy all the orichalcum you want. You don't need that many, anyway.

The entire main story is essentially a tutorial, but a fun tutorial. There is handholding on the other islands but on your main island you can for the most part build what you want. DQB1 is less handholdy but you loose all items and recipes between chapters

I think about flattening the pyramid, build a small town and a couple smaller pyramids, instead of having one huge pyramid.

A tip if you want to have a room not count as a room:
Remove one wall block, replace it with a magnetic block and camouflage it as the block you removed.

We got sped up updates because the game came out late last year in Japan.

When you go to the scavenger island bring a dog with you. They can sniff out seeds and they do it quite often raking in a lot of seeds in just one visit.

Stand next to a magnetic block, select whatever you want to camouflage it as(not limited to blocks), and press X or whatever button you set the controls to.

So you can only have 100 rooms on the island and like 60 people?
