>what's the best version of final fantasy 7?
Nintendo Switch version. Looks good, has all the optional modes/cheats and doesn't have music bug

why the fuck did SE only patch the glitches in the switch version

on PC with The Reunion modpack

>best version of a fucking storyshit pseudogame with middle school-quality angsty writing
Who cares?

PS4 for trophies, cheats don't disable them

The original on PS1,don't be a zoomer
Is it the best Final Fantasy? I would say yes,not only that its one of the greatest games ever made, the soundtrack alone is the landmark for videogame music.

>what's the best version of final fantasy 7?
Same answer as any pre-6th-gen game:
download Mednafen

VI and IX are the two best for music.

>REEEEEEE ONLY GAMEPLAY ALLOWED PONG IS THE BEST VIDEO GAME OF ALL TIME!!!

>there are people out there who actually play games for cheevos
jesus christ

PS1 for a true vanilla experience
PC if you want mods
Switch/PS4/PC for accessibility

>is it really the best final fantasy?
debatable. i love it, some don't.

They are great but FF7 and FF8 are the best work Uematsu ever did with 7 being slightly better than 8.

ps1 version on original ps1 or epsxe

>ePSXe

>there are people right here, right now, that use the term "cheevo"

The graphics are dated and look awful on modern hardware which displays the polygons in high res but cant do anything about the 240p pre rendered backgrounds. The game actually benefits from running at the original low res with dithering and should preferably be played on a small/medium crt.

The Switch/PS4 version.

You can speed up the game, skip random battles, and it visually looks a lot cleaner than the PS1 version. The PC version is cool and has mod support, but it's a bit on the slow side.

>muh graphics

>using cheats

Zoom Zooms

>PS1, if you can't get a CRT then play native res, don't be a moron about it.
>Subjective.

The best version is the YouTube version.
