Does Ashlyn have any personality? I honestly never had her in the party. Actually on that note, why do females in DQ games lack the ability to wear good armour? I found myself having mostly dudes in DQ6 in my party since you can just change vocations so you could have beefy dudes in heavy armor still casting spells and what not.

It was like that before Smash, people sleep on DQ and then wonder why the games cost so much later. I've still got my 1+2 cart, all the DS games, PS2 8, 7 3DS, etc.

I remember paying 70$ for VI and thinking “oh boy this game will be worth more in a few years”.

And since VI is like the black sheep i doubt it’s getting a remaster or physical port anytime soon.

You'd be right, especially given how very popular the Chunsoft games are, how infrequently games from 7 and on get reworked, and how 6 DS was a big overhaul (even removed the recall system). That game is *never* getting another standalone physical release. 3 might, 5 might, even 4 might, but 6 isn't. Ever.

Emulate the gameboy remakes

God i still get dopamine thinking of that moment when my copy of VIII 3DS arrived and i was able to have all the DS and 3DS games from IV to IX on my bookshelf.
I also have Rocket Slime and was looking forward to getting both Joker games but then Joker 3 stayed in Japan and i don’t want to start a trilogy knowing i can’t get the last one.
