Decent MMORPGs

Are there any MMOs these days that aren't shit?

Preferably with good character costumization (scars, makeup, variety of body types, etc.)

>scars
faggot

>scars
Scars in character customization are only fun if you score them through regular gameplay.

>claims to want a good mmorpg
>just wants weeb fap-bait
why don't you just go jerk off to hentai instead you fat low life?

>scars
you must be the sole reason why they are in games, I haven't actually seen anyone use them

Gamer thread

I don't understand why you guys just can't look up porn

Nah, I just used that image to get replies. You ADHD autists won't click on anything that doesn't have bright colours or borderline porn.

black desert online
warframe

>45 minutes creating the perfect appearance
>5 minutes later, everything is covered up with generic equipment

they've become desensitized to it and need something else to get their rocks off

BDO is pay2win
Warframe isn't a fucking MMO, it's 100% instanced. Even the open-world areas requires you to exit as a team.

>k-mmo
Don't ever do that to yourself, user, you're worth more than that.

Sometimes I just tell myself to run around naked. Too bad 99% of MMO's are atk/def checking shit instead of action games where I can actively dodge/block.

I can't say why, I just feel much more invested in a character when I've spent time creating it than I do when given a pre-selected one. Even when it's fully covered in a uniform everyone else is wearing.

I just bought FF14. Theres a sale to have get all the expansions for 45 bucks and having a price tag keeps out kids and poor people.

How do we fix that?

too big and fat, yuck

Pso2

If you say so

I think FFXIV is the only decent one on the market. but doesn't have as good character customization as your average gook mmo.

Will they ever do a Western release so I don't have to jump through technical hoops, deal with latency, and solve gookrune captchas to play?

waterboarding has gone too far

Why is Chiaki making her ass so big? Doesn't she know Hajime loves her the way she is?

7 days to go, buddy

FFXIV
pros
>Story, one of the best of any MMO or JRPG
>Music, also one of the best of any MMO and rivals most games in general
>Community, there's a server for everyone. New players, raiders, casual players, erpers, roleplayers in general and there'a a lot of players in every one of the options
>No pay to win, everyone is on equal level at all times
>Fantastic raid and dungeon design
>Gear is not an important factor in end game content, it's all skill and communication
>Constant updates that fix issues the community has with the game
>Catch-up mechanics that work if you ever want to take a break it's very easy to get back into the game
>Small events every year that bring new little cosmetics and quests and add flair to in-game towns.
>Some of the best designed life skills in any MMO requiring active play and pre planning crafting.

cons
>Graphics are dated
>Certain cosmetics limited to cash shop
>Pay to play
>Longer GCD than other competing games
>PvP is lacking

BDO
pros
>Pretty graphics in screenshots
>One world no loading screens
>Action combat that isn't hotbar based
>Sandbox features
>You always make progress

cons
>Massively Pay to win
>All progression is RNG
>Buy to play
>You have to pay a large sum of money to even have a chance at being competitive
>PvP, what the game was built for, has been put on the back burner
>Life skills are almost entirely done AFK and their only purpose is to bring more silver to you.
>Most cosmetics in cash shop or will set you back currency
>Game is entirely gear based, skill means nothing
>There is no story
>Community is toxic and dog ass
>There is no PvE
>There is mostly no PvP
>Catch-up mechanics are RNG and don't actually help players in the long run
>Game runs like ass and in motion the game is a fucking clusterfuck of pop-in
>Content that's added is rarely finished. Most patches come in parts and we never get the "Part 2" of them
>Events are rehashed every year giving nothing new but another chance at RNG

How do I soften my forehead? smash it to a wall of something?

How is ESO nowadays? The character customisation seems to be the best out of any current Western MMO.

Attached: necro.png (254x354, 159K)

I followed what the picture said and I shat myself

I always squint to the point of having grandma wrinkles between my brows, closing my eyes and focusing on my forehead makes the entire tension go away, it's bliss for like 3 seconds

Was announced at e3, under a rock user.

You have to pay a decent amount of money to have access to all the content and the char customization isn't really all that great.
Outfits are all lackluster too mostly due to how it's done. Everything is very skin tight except various dressed and such. It's not the game for that kind of stuff, no western game is.

Yes.

Not really, I switch between ESO and FFXIV, neither game has everything but between the two I get what i'm looking for in MMOs. ESO has a lot more going for it in terms of exploration and builds etc, plus your gear doesnt become obsolete quite like in other MMOs. FFXIV is a lot more fluid and themepark shit with basically no customization beyond your characters appearance.

>LOW T posters still at it

I'm sorry you have no sex drive, but go see a doctor. Vidya can wait, set your priorities

Really? That's fantastic news

I tried and not much happened. Maybe it just isn't tense. I did flex and stretched my neck, shoulders and upper back. Feels good man.

>make armor identical across the board
>implement mordhau combat
>allow pussies to wear full plate
>absolute units running around in underwear armed with a banjo, top of the kill board

Character is earned, not something every player can have, as that makes it meaningless by default.

thats going to be me in elden ring except I'm also maxing every other slider specially belly, thighs and height sliders.

I'm playing Blade & Soul right now, they have a system where the only thing that means something stat-wise is your weapon, pet, and a bunch of invisible trinkets. All outfits and decorations are completely optional and you can use whatever you want, or none at all.

>armor fits around your fat curvy frame perfectly
>makes you stand out among all the skeleton characters in the same generic equipment
I love it

I'm still fucking mad they removed the old orc plate chest model.

yeah but that game is P2W optimized shit instanced dungeon faggotry

OP just wants his butt sliders dammit

>not wanting butt sliders
What are you, gay?

>Missing the entire point of my comment

>FFXIV
>Gear is not an important factor in end game content, it's all skill and communication
Did we play the same game?

>didn't answer the question
Queer

The age of MMOs is over come back in 50 years.

they do, 24/7. but the addiction is so deep-rooted that they need to involve it with everything they do in life

Not yet. The ultimate MMO is going to be released in 7 days.

Sure are a lot of SJW's in here butt blasted about sexy women.

user, pls pay attention, sjws have nothing to do with it.
It's the shiny new troll meme to shit on porn, or anything remotely sexualised. for existing.

Is there a tag for this?

Technically, it would fall under the "inflation" umbrella.

I meant a bit more specific. I'm sure it has a 1girl tag or something, too, but that's hardly helpful.

Why THE FUCK arent there any mmos that have ass sliders yet?

Are talking about OP and using a faux body slider?
Hm, that likely would depend on the artist, versus a particular tag.

Yeah, that type of self-body modification. I've seen it a couple times and it's good shit.

Gear isn't though, literally every single person playing a job in progression will be using the exact same shit, save for melds. It's not like in some MMOs where there's a lot of choice in what pieces to use.

It doesn't decide builds, but someone in poverty uncapped tomestone gear doesn't really compare well to people in proper raid gear (dies in significantly fewer hits, does less damage leading to harder time beating enrage). Decent gear can cover for a lot of mistakes in a run.

Yeah but that's a given, and unless anything has changed since I last played, group content is ilvl gated and if you meet the ilvl requirement you can do the content if you don't suck. Being over the ilvl just makes things faster and easier for everyone. If someone has bad tomestone or low ilvl shit they only need to be told "get higher ilvl gear", there's no depth to the gear system at all.

>everyone excited for the shit MMO that ruined MMOs in the first place
cute

>if you don't suck
Sure, you get day 1 raid tier clears with crafted gear in good groups. If you do PF, though, you better crank ilvl way up because tards can't press more than 1 button every 3 seconds.
There is no build customization of any kind, so all that matters is that you are able to press your button in the correct order (should be doable by everyone, but half the population is braindead), remember mechanics (this is a problem for a lot of goldfish players, even though they're always the same) and have gear that isn't utter trash (better gear compensates for failure in previous two).
Saying that gear isn't relevant is quite misleading; there are MMOs where you don't need to update your gear and are mostly skill-based, but XIV isn't one of them. If your gear is worse than the best gear from last tier, you're basically worthless.

>excited
Where did I imply that?
WoW Classic will be the ultimate MMORPG. Not the best, the *last*. Blizzard is building a funeral pyre for the genre and it'll burn bright as stars. After it inevitably goes out, there will be just ashes left. Time to move on.

Ultimately shit

It doesn't really matter how good it'll be. It's the final major MMORPG.

Whatever you say, Kirby.
