Zombi is slow and that's why it's so scary, because it's fucking forever to get back to the point you died at even in the non survival modes, where a lot of your progress is carried forward. It also stops being difficult in a fair way, and just throws dozens of enemies at you, when you can't deal with them because of ammo constraints of the fact that there's no suitable choke point, even if you have all the ammo in the world.
