each dlc will have new story content and 4 characters to play as.

the first will have blade, morbius, punisher, and moonknight.
one of the dlc's is the fantastic 4, and the other will be more xmen characters.
2 of the dlc's will be out this year and one next year.

in addition they are patching in cyclops and colossus on the 30th, and dataminers have found 4 additional character files that were supposed to be playable besides colossus and cyclops but we don't know if they'll be added. the 4 datamined are valkyrie, vision, black bolt, and medusa.

I unironically thought that it was pretty good, but holy shit does it need a lot of work, I think the dodge is better than a lot of other action games since it's a light step with a small bunch of i frames, a lot of other light action games that is. I really enjoyed natural combos but felt there were just too few, like using Wolverine's launcher which pulls in enemies too and then running them into the ground, or launching enemies into the air as Spiderman with his sling kick and then slapping them with web shots as they fall which slows their fall. There are elements here for a really good co-op action game, but it needs a bigger budget and more time, possibly more passion from it's developers too. Also really want more alternative routes in levels, mainly for replay value, playing them again as a different team with different abilities should change where you can go to encourage replays.

The art direction for this game is excellent, I hope any successors follow it to a T. Talking about successors I hope it being the 3rd best selling game for Nintendo in 2019 meant something, I want X-Men Legends 3 and Ultimate Alliance 4 sooner rather than later.

End of September. They have an update for next Friday too with costumes for Hulk, Spider-Man and Captain Marvel, along with the release of Colossus and Cyclops.

Is it possible to get exp up crystals early on? I'm halfway through playing on ultimate and finally got a couple. I don't understand why they decided to be so kind with the benefit. Giving up to double xp per crystal seems really broken next to most iso8 bullshit like 15% up on a stat if you're nearly dead

Yes the costumes are free. From what I remember people found that every character has slots for five costumes so I imagine they'll be adding free stuff every now and then.

Like in most X-Men adaptations, they made Juggernaut a mutant in this game, he's in the Brotherhood.

cable is the one i'm least sure of, gambit is a huge fan favorite and would definitely be a top pick in a fan poll.

juggernaut is also TOO BIG with his current model for a playable character.

vision was datamined as supposed to be playable, we'll see if they add him in. as for ANTS its a real shame he wasn't datamined.
