No, the genre is dead along with a majority of arcade racers and extreme sports games

It's not the 2000s grandpa, xtreme sports aren't cool anymore

It was a jet ski game.

You can't say all that and not give a name.

Face it, THUGPRO is the swan song of the skating genre.

lets not get too technical mr dev

THUG 2 was the last good Hawk game

Skate 2 was the last good skateboarding game

can't prove me wrong desu

THUG2 was worse than Project 8 and Proving Ground. If you had said THUG1, fair enough, but THUG2 and THAW were the low points of the series pre-Ride.

They're all dead.

sauce me

Anyone remember freekstyle

IMO Tony Hawk games really lost their luster after THPS2, in 2 you had the perfect amount of abilities as a skater to keep things challenging, from 3 onwards you have way too many options for getting high scores or hitting specific lines to be difficult. Don't get me wrong, the games are still fun, I still played them a fucking ton, but as far as I'm concerned, THPS2 is peak.

Skate 2 is a banger though, feels a lot like THPS2 in regards to challenge.

it will at least revitalise interest in skateboarding and inspire new people to start.

>olympics
no fucking one see those now, streaming meadia is slowly killing it.

A company that has a crippling addiction to money, but also hates money (but not what its become).

Fuck yes. That game was my fucking jam. That one dude with the log rolling move with the bike? And that weird bitch who would float over the bike in a meditation pose? That shit was pure wacky and I loved it. Gonna find that for my PS2 again, thanks for reminding me.

Not that user but me too man.
Loved Dave Mirra 2 as well. Slim Jim all the way my dude.

the relevant demographic has to actually watch it for that to happen
