I really doubt it. I've got an i5 and an 860, and Witcher 3 barely ran at 40 once I had it all the way down.

>860
So... a laptop? That's rough bro.

I've got a 1060, should I go for a 1080 or just skip straight to an rtx card?

Neither. RTX is a meme and as an nvidia cuck I'd gladly exchange it for a Radeon equivalent for more stable drivers. AMD FineWine ain't a meme.

i'll run it without problems on i3 just like everything else made for current consoles. if you know how to sysadmin rather than being a /r/pcmr newfag, you dont need overpriced hardware.

>exchange it for a Radeon equivalent for more stable drivers
But AMD cards have shit terrible drivers, what are you even talking about?
Navi is a fucking mess.

Sure, with config edits.

Fuck off, Huang. There is literally nothing wrong with navi except from reference cards having shit coolers like always.

It's barely making it through this gen

x5690 and gtx 1080 reporting in.

If you can find a 1080 ti, get that.
Otherwise, 2070S has some fairly affordable models and AMD has some okay cards too if you don't mind occasional stuttering and bad drivers.

Yes.

>2070S
>$100+ more expensive than 5700xt for sub-10% performance delta

This is a current gen game made for XBOX ONE and PS4.

>Titan RTX
judging by this my RX480 probably won't

Yeah again, if you're on a tight budget the 5700XT is a fine choice, but it's a pretty shoddy product.
ATI GPUs are shit and always will be, pulling decent average-per-dollar isn't all there is to a card.
Look up all the posts of people suffering from visual bugs or stuttering or poor performance in older titles, AMD is purely a poorfag choice.

buy RX 5700XT instead

the card is pretty new, I think bugs like that can be fixed through driver updates

>Look up all the posts of people suffering from visual bug
What posts, shill?

Maybe, I have a ryzen 5 3600 and vega 56. Can get 100 fps on witcher 3. But I'm going to upgrade next year to an 8 core cpu and a new nvidia card, assuming the nvidia card isn't jewed like the current rtx models.

>vega 56
sell that turd while you can still get a few coins for it

Honestly you don't need an 8 core unless it would help you with some kinda professional tasks, for gaming the 3600 is pretty dope and will be for a while.

I5-6600k
GTX970
Probably at medium/low.

Oh wow that's exactly the system my ex had before we upgraded his rig.
He didn't have much trouble with the GPU but he always complained about the CPU being maxed out.

Yeah, on CPU bound shit it's always near maxed out even if oc'd. Can't even emulate few things properly but it still works good so don't see reason to switch it out yet.

It's an awesome card. I don't get where the hate for it comes. I bought it brand new a month ago for less a gtx 1660ti and have undervolted/overclocked it, now its 10% faster than stock and uses the same power as a 1660ti.

>TFW my i7 870 and HD7870 have never once let me down and 60FPS'd everything so far but minimum game requirements will probably spike by the end of next year
It was nice having a PC that could play everything for a few years.

You are mental.
1660ti is 3x more efficient than your card.
