How is this game kino in any way what so ever?

its one of the most kino games i had played in years and will continue to be

It’s “alright”. Playing through it now and just got to chapter 4. The game is slow paced and not made to be played in short periods. I like the characters, animation, etc. Gunplay is alright, once you realised all you have to do is right trigger, wait 2 secs, then right trigger, rincé and repeat. The auto-aim is fucking powerful.

Got really pissed at some missable mission, now I know I will never get 100% even if I wanted to, feels like doing anything else in the game pointless now since I’ll never have 100% on that playthrough. fuck the ones who had this idea of making some missions missable.

how is it not?
easily one of the best games visually and atmospherically, there is NO game with this level of foliage and ambience
>foliage all MOVE, no static sprites
>foliage can be trampled on
>foliage move when you brush it
>moving clouds, day/night, weather

Maybe I have attention disorder or whatever but this game is so fucking slow and boring I can't fathom how anyone could get past the first couple hours

Got bored of it after 10 mins. RDR was my game of the decade for 00s. A complete letdown of a game.

Kino? Maybe
Ludo? Definitely not.

Why is it so shit compared to the first one?

Because you're a zoomer.

rdr2 is a literal zoomer game
it inspired old town road for fuck's sake

whats the problem here? that gun is sick and takes forever to unlock

I present you the Red Footed Booby

>Can't see the problem
I'd start by you

No I literally played older dragon quest games for hours with 16 bit graphics and loved that shit.
This game is so realistic it’s boring.
A techno marvel but I’m not that excited about opening drawers or taking a bath I do that shit everyday

The missable missions don't contribute to getting 100%

>that brutal lack of empathy for ammo count

did anyone else feel like the most of the chapters should've been longer? even going out of my way to do as much side content as possible it feels like the chapters are over before they really begin. and then there's guarma which is just bizarre

100 GB though

I think it's mostly Chapter 3 that I feel suffers from this. I would love more of Dutch and Hosea trying to play both sides.

you can't argue with this

oh i see it skipped a reload animation while you were spamming deadeye. wow.

absolutely based

That's definitely the big one. Grays vs. Braithwaites feels like it could be an entire game in itself. But even after that you go to Saint Denis and you get Jack back pretty much immediately and you kill the guy like 3 missions after that. There's a lot of stuff that just feels rushed.

>You're a zoomer if you liked the older game more
Are you retarded?

This game has fucking amazing songs. RDR had Compass, Far Away, and Dead Man's Gun, all of which were instant classics.

RDR2 threads are populated by the same 15-or-so posters who post the same webms and call anyone who criticizes the game a zoomer. I enjoyed the game but the cult around it is getting annoying.

Yes
The Game

I wish it was a sequel than a prequel.

the cult of people shitting on it has been far more annoying

you can have your opinions and think the game is overrated/overhyped but acting like this game is genuinely shit or something is just objectively wrong

>no invert x axis

and be set after the west is over?

not necessarily, can be near the fringe and basically trying to adapt towards the emerging modernization

Woooooow this looks so difficult
slow down time, point and click and win the battle without any harm to yourself, fuck this board and the eternal manchildren residing in it, you people have no fucking taste whatsoever
you praise absolute garbage games while the best ones are lost under the piles of shit threads

This whole board has a problem with not being able to have a middle ground opinion. You have people that will not tolerate any criticism and worship a game as a flawless masterpiece, which leads to people countering by not allowing any praise and saying the game is shit, and since these people won't ever allow for decent discussion it just turns the threads into endless shit flinging. And because of this people who want to have a decent discussion just end up joining the shit flinging and making it worse

Shit game lol. R* worst in decades.

there is nothing kino about most of those shots

>never played the game: the post

Online still sucks ass tho

honestly, I love the game, the world they made is amazing, I even play the online from time to time here's hoping the update drops today and I'm really into the combat but these few webms that are posted with the titles "gunplay 1, 2, 3" are some of the shittiest vids of what the game has to offer shootout wise desu

would have to be with a new set of characters though (regardless of story deaths) because the whole point of the van der linde gang is they just couldn't adapt to the new world

I was fine with it, some of the storylines ending suddenly or abruptly is totally intentional, the game at its core seems to focus on the breakdown of Dutch (and in extension, of the camp, as the blind loyalty people had in Dutch is what kept everything working, without that, it's just a bunch of stupid lowlife criminals).
The Guarma chapter was a nice change of pace, I absolutely loved the setting and the intensity of it. It made me wish for Rockstar to turn that concept into a full game, maybe a pirate game or something.

imo RDR 2 is the best cinematic game ever made. The narrative is well written, and they managed to make the gameplay feel (mostly) "canon" in terms of what happens in the cutscenes, aside from the over the top amount of people you kill, but that'll always be an issue I guess.
It also has impeccable presentation. I am not talking about the technicals, though its clearly very impressive even in that regard especially the lighting and draw distance. But the devs have created so many amazing moments like when you finish a mission and your character is idling somewhere, looking at the scenery. Sometimes it captures such a perfect moment that I can't help but to leave it there for a couple of minutes. They use insane amounts of volumetric lighting as well to create a very specific mood for certain locations and parts of the game that really boosts the atmosphere. It's a hyper realistic looking game but it still manages to have a unique visual flair to it, which I respect a lot.

And it also has probably the most consistently good voice acting, even from random npc's, and consistently fantastic music, not just the licensed stuff, but all the mission music and whatnot. It's definitely kino.

Sadly the gameplay has so many issues that I don't see myself ever replaying it, maybe once it's on PC and there's proof that the input lag is reduced by higher framerates like in GTA 5. It's a shame, but even as one-time experience it was amazing. Very exhausting though.

That's not kino. That's just a very nice technical feat.

it has the best story of any game for sure

Well yeah, you technically killed the gang. Have to be new troubles and that.

I unironically think RDR2 has the best story, characters, and atmosphere in any game, ever. Arthur's story is the only video game story that gives me man tears.

I genuinely love this game. RDR1 is still my #1 favorite game, for some reason. I think maybe because I have more critiques of this one, and probably some 'nostalgia' for 1. But man these games are great, easily Rockstar's best.

Story wise? No.
Gameplay wise? DMC5.
World wise? Witcher 3.

RDR2 has one of the best narratives in Vidya that's not fantastical or mystical. If we were assessing narratives that had horror/magic elements, LoK has the best.

Chapter 4 onward is where the game shines best.

>LoK has the best.

Kain ain't shit but a drawn out gay mess by the end. It's hoisted up purely because it's obscure and nostalgic.

I played the LoK series this year for the first time, I don't hold any nostalgia for it, I just think the dialogue and overarching looped narrative is impeccable.

This is a gay movie game for unironic naughtydog enthusiasts

Basically might as well watch a tarantino flick like the bottom feeding culture casuals you are desu

Read a western novel sometime and really get your socks knocked off and some manly tears in your eyes. Seriously go pick up Lonesome Dove.

I love 2 but RDR is just better in my opinion.

Game is downright depressing to play after Guarma. Punished Arthur is a sad sight

My grandpa loved this book. Would you recommend reading the series by release or chronologically?

>RDR 1 remaster with the old multiplayer will never happen
I hate modders so much, I would dig up my PS3 to play it but modders fucked up the lobbies with the XP bodies they brought in from Undead Overrun.

Attached: 1542939763126.jpg (384x384, 22K)

Lonesome Dove is the best in the series the rest fall short. If you’re looking for a good series of western novels A.B. Guthrie’s “The Big Sky” trilogy is pretty fucking amazing and historically accurate.

It's great for the scope and absurd attention to detail, but if you're looking for a "post-wild west" story, you're better off with a novel or with RDR1. RDR2 is more like Mass Effect 2 - they're both excuses to traipse about the world created and enjoy being in it, and are thus worse off thematically than their previous entries. It's GOOD, it is, but so much of it undermines RDR1's poignancy.
>Dutch's "we can't fight gravity" talk wasn't an off the cuff, it was something he said years ago
>John has forgotten all about Arthur despite Arthur saving his life
>John's "you left me to die" is more important than "you chased after me and tried to kill me"
>Dutch isn't charismatic as much as he is stupid, where RDR1 implied he was quite a man
>Micah is cartoonishly bad
>The most important line in the game, "take a gamble that love exists, and then do a loving act" is completely missable
It goes on. RDR1 is just far, far more focused in what it wanted to do. As I said, RDR2 is good. No one can take that away from it. But boy howdy Dutch's
>Our time has passed, John
and then John Marston's death say more about the end of the wild west than anything in RDR2 despite chasing the same feeling.

I want a connection to my dead grandfather you faggot not an invitation to your book club. Does release order matter?

RDR2 is more about the end of outlaws' place in the world than it was the end of the west. It does have those same themes but they're not the focus.

I insist.

I incest

Haven’t played it yet but I am playing through red dead 1 for the first time. Just got to the part where we shoot up bill Williamson’s fort with a gatling gun and he fucks off to Mexico. Enjoying it so far

I implore you to reconsider.

exhausting is the right word, it's taken me months to get through it. i don't know how people managed to marathon it in a few days.

Haven’t found a game with a more enthralling story than this.

i really hate the writing in naughty dog games for the most part, but I really enjoyed the story in rdr2, funny enough

the writing in RDR2 is better than any naughty dog game at least
it also, to its credit, doesn't have the unbearable houser cynical smugness that all previous rockstar games have. even RDR1 is thick with it, it's very "GTA with cowboys" in tone whereas RDR2 is much different in that regard

was it autism, bros?

Attached: archive files.png (618x813, 208K)

because the input delay is so bad that you can feel it with every action. that alone makes it a lot worse to play. then you add in the fact that the first game probably had a lot cooler atmosphere and overworld music and the result is that the first game was both more fun and memorable.

Did they fix the fucking gun loadout thing yet? I hated having to edit my shit every time and having nothing to shoot with cause my horse stole it all and I gotta run after it because the shots scared it away. Nothing makes me feel more like a cowboy after all that mess, yep.
Now that I think about it, the only time I legitimately enjoyed my time was when I got on a lil steam boat and went dynamite fishing with niggers and surveying birds in the swamp area.

Did they add roles yet?

>canon
It isn’t though. This is what a lot of people had problems with. Rockstar getting wishy washy with the direction of the game, it was being pulled from two sides: freedom but natural and kino but it’s a setpiece

I just can’t get past the opening hours man. What the fuck is wrong with me. After the Adam and Eve fight I always get bored and drop the game. I steamrolled through Drakengard 3 and Nier just fine

if we're talking specifically about comfy kino then no

Why did they have to fuck up the weapon wheel, what does having two inventories improve?

I actually liked it because it utilizes a controllers capabilities to its maximum, and I think this is the only game that does that. (Down on dpad to iron sight is fucking brilliant) But if I played this shit sometime next week I’d probably get annoyed. I think they just put too much shit. We didn’t need 5 different cans. It was a hassle trying to juggle that shit. I liked the choices in liquor and the cigs though.

Red Dead Redemption 1.
In 10 years time, people WILL be digging their 360s out of storage to replay it and Undead Nightmare, NO one will want to play this when it finally because le cool boomer game.
I had fun with it though, everything felt okay enough and most of my gripes with the actual game are to do with the menu and wanted mechanics.

I've always wondered why electricity only exist in dynamite detonators here. I thought they should be at slightly known.

thinking back to RDR1, didn't it have it so that if you killed all the lawmen in the area your wanted level would instantly go away? yet RDR2 has infinitely spawning cops. weird choice for a game that aims to be so realistic

You'd get a massive bounty IIRC but your wanted level would go away and your reputation would go way down.

speaking of bounties, why are the bounty mechanics so much more limited than in RDR1? for that matter, why can't we do infinite random bounties in addition to the full-on scripted ones?

Attached: bounty.png (915x630, 94K)

Bothered me too. The Bounties were really fun as you could get into pretty decent gun battles in RDR1. In RDR2 the scripted bounties where pretty cool, but you never really got into gun battles. With the improved gun mechanics and first person camera it would've been unironic kino, but most of the time all you had to do in 2 was chit chat with the fella and tie him up or chase him down then time up.

what hat is that?

I'm in here defending RDR2, but fags who use deadeye for every single enemy are the worst.

Does the gold bar glitch still work?

GTA 4 was a more kino title than "epic horse balls simulator with 2 side quests and no replay value."

No, but it's still easy as fuck to make gold. A money glitch would be way more useful, even though that's also not hard to come by

Attached: head above water.webm (1280x720, 2.93M)

>SP
Just play the game until you do the Valentine bank heist and you get more money than you can ever actually spend because Rockstar fucked the progression in this game.

>MP
Hunting/Fishing, Showdowns, and free roam missions but waiting to finish to get more money and gold.

Look for spots with sockeye salmon, and steel head trout. Also many valuable birds like owls, eagles, Condors, Herons, Egrets, Pelicans, and Hawks. Panthers, Cougars, and Bucks are also good.

Do this to keep bucks 3 star.

"kino" doesnt refer to the graphics retard

Forgot to mention that if you're by St Denis, go north and kill two Alligators to get 10x Big Game Meat. Easy 7.50. Also If you happen upon a farm with cattle, bulls or ox, then do the lasso method to 4 of them. Each should give you 5x Prime Beef for a max of 20. Quick cash too.

Attached: rdrace.webm (1280x720, 2.93M)

Why does leveling take several fucking years in MP?

>new IP
>this is me
anyway, RDR2, easily.

RDR1 is the better game, imo
RDR2 is a more impressive experience, one of the best-looking games out right now, and arguably has a better narrative
but RDR1 is more fun to play overall

1 in my mind.

make sure you're doing your daily challenges, and you progress challenges. Also PVP modes give the most xp.

RDR2 is really nothing like 1. It's like comparing the new GTA games to the PS2 games. Movement is clunky now for the sake of 'epic realism meme'. Horses are a complete pain in the ass from healthcare to controls. The story is less like "we wrote a story to go with our cowboy game" and more "we wrote the story to a cowboy movie and shoehorned that into our cowboy game." Theres no replayability, the side missions are all just little extra bits of story instead of something neat and dynamic like patrolling the ranch for instance in RDR1. It's all style, no substance. The bulk of the non-mission content is in those gay little "side missions" that dont amount to anything but errands and a weak side plot, and tedious as fuck hunting missions to craft camp cosmetics, only you can't actually see what animal parts you need unless you trek all the way back to camp, making it a tedious waste of time. Definitely don't buy it full price.

i'd advise you to take a break between RDR1 and 2 or else you're almost certainly going to burn out hard or drop the game forever if you immediately jump into 2

lol, rdr1 is far clunkier than rdr2, especially in the on foot movement department. even changing directions in rdr1 is a pain in the ass. gradual movement speed increases are also impossible which makes navigating interiors absolutely horrible

Fuck off, RDR2 controls so bad it's almost like playing one of those old Japanese horror games with the intentionally shit tank controls. And changing directions? RDR1 is responsive, RDR 2 is like steering a mentally retarded man through a vat of molasses.

Games a blast when you have a full posse

soulless generic trash

Unity I'm guessing?

the controls are fluid as fuck once you learn them, they're just not intuitive and take time to get used to

I must have watched the trailers ten times each and it lived up to the hype. don't even get me started on the soundtrack.

also turn deadzones off in settings, increase sensitivity, and acceleration.

Once you learn how to properly control your horse, it's better than rdr1's horse.

only bad thing is you can somtimes grab radnom guy insted of doing something else
and thats it, everything is fine you absolute retard
also you can shoot instantly without aiming in rdr1 you cant

Attached: knife fight.webm (1920x1080, 2.97M)

Attached: machete.webm (1920x1080, 2.99M)

That's a huge, glaring flaw in the controls of the game, and there's more to it than that, like having to stand exactly pixel perfect relative to shit you wanna pick up when there are a lot of things close to it.

there is nothing fluid about the controls even after playing for dozens of hours.

>Hold L1 > Press R1 > Rotate to item > Release L1 to use
it never posed a problem to me

>lol, rdr1 is far clunkier than rdr2
thats the dumbest shit i ever heard. i dont know why you guys make up this false narrative that rdr1 has clunkier controls, i literally only see this opinion on Yea Forums and nowhere else. rdr1 has mostly pretty competent controls that were like GTAIV, it is nowhere near as bad as rdr2 which is relentlessly clunky, delayed and awkward pretty much all the time.

I seriously cant believe you are pretending that navigating interiors is more awkward than 1 in 2. In 1 you basically run around in any interior for a few seconds at most, whereas in 2 you have to spend significantly more amounts of time awkwardly walking around and positioning yourself

just like you say, everything is working smooth when you know what are you doing

>Once you learn how to properly control your horse, it's better than rdr1's horse.

Attached: 20190709_120524.gif (202x202, 983K)

There is nothing smooth about it even if you can position perfectly just because the input delay and animations are so awkward

learn english retard

horses in 2 are too slow to feel better than 1's horses. even the arabian feels slow as fuck compared to even mid tier horses in 1.

absolute kino

Went back to RDR1 because I wanted to play it in 4k, and the horses are laughably fast. Their legs move insanely quickly and it borders on the ridiculous.

autism

yeah its fun that way. horses in 2 are unbearably slow

>why does my horse ride like a real one

>objectively wrong
Do you understand what you're even saying?
How can an opinion formed from a subjective experience be objectively wrong?

Not him, but you're experience with the game was shit not the game itself. All art can be measured objectively, but it doesn't mean it dictates people's experiences.

Fucking brutal. Never saw that particular animation in my playthrough.

>real horses do a 360 degree spin when you tug on the reins
You should be castrated so theres no risk of your sunhuman-level IQ being passed on to the next generation.

I remember the minor outrage when ex-rockstar employees were talking about crunch at r* and how rough it was. Everyone was up in arms but the end product of RDR2 shut everyone up. I'm curious if those against crunch actually saw rdr2 and thought it was worth it.

So what? Different horse shoes aren't even in RDR2. And what are you even trying to prove with these webms, lmao.

>but the end product of RDR2 shut everyone up
No they didn't. You must be brand new or braindead.

>All art can be measured objectively
This is non-sense. Your reaction to art is predicated on your own personal feelings and tastes which are different from mine and all people that aren't you. There's no room for objectivity cause there will never be a unanimous agreement someone will disagree.

moving the goalposts. and like that other user said, the animations in rdr1 aren't even synced to the horse's speed, leading to multiple instances where the horse's legs are just hilariously slipping/sliding while sprinting in a straight line

I personally think it's insane that Rockstar forced unethical levels of crunch for pointless little details like shrinky horse balls when there are still so many flaws in more important areas of the game, like how characters ponytails somehow stay glued to their backs even when they're tied head-down to the back of your horse.

Many of those complaining online and saying that they were boycotting Rdr2, were never going to buy the game anyway. They just like taking a moral high ground. Many of those same people are awfully quiet after the naughty dog crunch news came out.

>in Saint Denis
>trying to get on my horse
>Arthur lunges to the other side of the road and puts a guy in a choke hold
nah

Attached: RDR1 controls are tight and responsive.webm (1280x720, 790K)

I wasnt moving le goalposts, I was making the point that the "different shoes" caveat is retarded and 360 horse spins are useless in-game and shouldnt even be possible. Your horse animations argument is stupid because that's clearly a moment in game where the player is abusing the "hold a to match horse speed" button to intentionally glitch the game.

Someone can be wrong in their disagreement. It's pretentious to qualify paintings, music, film, Vidya, etc., but a certain degree of pretentiousness is needed.

It's fun watching you intentionally fling John across the room to try and lend credence to your inane point.

I just watched A Fist Full of Dollars and it was a little bit shit to be honest. Good the Bad and the Ugly is one of my favourite films of all time, so I was pretty disappointed that this one didn’t really hold a candle to it. Unsure whether or not it’s worth watching A Few Dollars More.

>if a mechanic isn't particularly useful it shouldn't be possible
wow you must be fun at parties. I guess if you were directing wow vanilla 90% of the game's spells wouldn't be in the game. Or if you were the director of duke nukem 3d all the fun guns would be gone. Now that I think about it, are you the director behind Ion Fury by any chance?

>Your horse animations argument is stupid because that's clearly a moment in game where the player is abusing the "hold a to match horse speed" button to intentionally glitch the game.
lmao, it's literally from one of the biggest RDR/GTA shill channels - GTAVideos

It is.

>I'm a soi chugging city bugman who eats pineapple pizza with a knife & spoon and never rode a horse
if you tug the rein too hard to one side the horse will turn, and if it's going too fast this can usually result in it doing a full 360 you retarded city nigger. Please avoid horses for the remainder of your soiexistence.

it's not my video, just a random playthrough. unlike you I'm not going around cherry picking stuff, you can find stuff like it in every video on youtube. I also played the game 2 years ago and have no nostalgia for it, so I'm more objective than some kid who played it when he was 10 right after playing gta4 on his epic xbox.

and thats it you retard
nothing more have problems like this

keep posting webms bro BTFO these RDR1 pretend-boomers.

I finished RDR2 a month or so ago and just decided yesterday that I’d like to replay RDR1. I popped it in my PS3 and was absolutely gobsmacked by how bad it looks. I didn’t realise that video games had progressed so much in the last decade, since the progress was so gradual. RDR1 looks fucking terrible on my modern TV. There’s jaggies fucking everywhere and constant pop in. It actually hurts to look at, to the point where I’m wondering if I fucked something up in my PS3’s display settings.

The game honestly looks worse than my mental image of PS2 games. I’ve never been one to care much about graphics but this time I’m really shocked.

>YOU MUST BE FUN AT PARTIES
Go back to your subreddit, please. Fundamental aspects of a games control should be tight and polished. Accidentally whipping your horse into a 360 by tugging his reigns at speed isn't fun and the fact that this is in the game speaks volumes about its lack of quality. Keep posting cherrypicked webms though. RDR 1 is the superior game.
You've been cherry picking webms this entire thread you double nigger, the fact that you accuse me of that is laughable.

Is it significantly better than the first one?

lol

Funilly enough I’m playing RDR 1 right now and I have way much more problem controlling the character than I did in RDR2. John will sometimes just spazz out and not do what I want him to.

Not an argument redditfag

Ps3 always had the shit version of RDR1. I 100% it on ps3 and on 360, and 360 looked much better. A base Xbox one improved frame rate stability, and the boneX is the only way to play it now.

I think your pathetic irrational rambling speaks for itself, I don't need to embarrass you any further.

Try again, ESL-kun

I dont know how its possible to be this retarded. Do you have cerebral palsy?
Seething cope

I love all 3. It does have more action from the get, so maybe you'll enjoy it more.

You're so mad

>I-im not mad! You are!!!!
Cope

Cringe of the week?

Not even the person you're arguing with. Just found it funny how worked up your getting over nothing

Im not though.

>Calls people zoomers
>Shows "gameplay" for retards who can't shoot for themselves

RDR2 isn't supposed to be a challenging game.

Any other comfy single player game like this?

Attached: maxresdefault1-w.jpg (1920x1080, 328K)

It’s not so much the lack of action that gets me. Actually, the film had quite a few action scenes. The problem was that none of the characters were very well defined and for some reason the way the film was shot made it hard to follow the plot at points. There were a lot of confusing cuts that made it unclear what exactly was happening. I understood the overall plot, but moment to moment I found the cinematography a bit confusing. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation. I’ll check it out.

Of course you aren't.

my Chapter 6 arthur had the exotic hat, a bright blue outfit, and a glorious mane from drinking hair tonic every day.

He looked damn good for a dying man.

yes, it it autism. This plus retardation. He spammed this shit in last night's thread as well.

The intros alone make it worth a watch.

Listened to Cruel, Cruel World on the way to work this morning.

Attached: 1543331979266.jpg (565x458, 58K)

No they can't be wrong. It's like saying if i didn't like the taste of a McDonald's burger i'm somehow objectively wrong. Who made you an arbiter of truth? It's my own personal experience there's nothing you can do to convince me otherwise.

Atlantis II was more kino.

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 18K)

McDonalds burgers are objectively fucking terrible and I don’t know how anybody can eat them.

Even philosophers can't come to an agreement on this, so I doubt we will. It's a heavily debated topic though. If you look it up you'll find convincing arguments for both sides.

Not that user but there is absolutely no convincing argument that “all art can be measured objectively”. That’s a fucking retard tier statement. Any piece of art will be appreciated differently by any person because we have all had different life experiences which determine how we react to things.

don't bother looting half the shit, you don't need it all

why the fuck would you do that? either deadeye them all at once with a single bullet to the head, or shoot them normally
this is just retarded

>dude just play the game over and over again with the boring mash dodge to win combat

>See RDR2 thread
>Get the urge to play RDR2 again
>Remember that I did pretty much everything there's to do in the game
>No DLC in sight
>Online is empty
Fuck

Attached: 1566245479749.png (496x606, 272K)

You do indeed have ADHD. Sorry to break it to you, user.

It's my first RDR game and my second Rockstar game (first being San Andreas). Enjoyed it a lot but man I hate the lack of inverted X axis.

But their is objectivity in all art. How else do we decide that some things are just straight up bad. If someone set out to paint a portrait of someone, then the end result can be judged objectively to some degree because we know what the aim of a portrait is.

Attached: Red Dead Redemption 2_20190505110542.jpg (3840x2160, 1.76M)

Clearly you never played Nier 1 then

>inverted x axis
for what purpose

What exactly do you want to do online, that isn't already there or announced for the summer update?

Housing and just more expensive big stuff to buy in general so I actually have a goal.
>Summer update
When is it even coming? They announced this shit like 3 months ago.

the "physical" camera turning its base to the left with show what's on the right

>Triple A game waited for more than a couple of years is released
>Its actually amazing and delivers the hype
How the fuck did they do it bros?

Before summer is over, so some time in the next couple of weeks

They didnt lol

You can’t decide that something is straight up bad - that’s the fucking point, numbnuts. You can say that you subjectively find it bad and list the reasons why. If a lot of people agree with you then you can even form a majority consensus that it is bad. But if even one person on earth derives enjoyment from it or finds it insightful in some way then it is not objectively bad.

And modern art galleries frequently hang up shit that would be considered to be “onjectively bad” from a purist, theory based standpoint, but that’s exactly the reason they hang it up. If your shit portrait could cause people to think about something they otherwise wouldn’t have, or if it held some abstract aesthetic beauty to some people, then it couldn’t be considered objectively bad.

Lots of people on Yea Forums seem to love Death Grips, but in terms of traditional expectations for music they’re fucking awful.

That is a quantitative assessment. The goal here is to imitate real life which can be measured quantitatively. You're not judging it's quality.
Whether the painting is good or not is subjective but whether the painting is realistic or not is objective.

Wierd way to spell EDF 5

>I'm a city slicker who drives around in a fancy German car

>Accidentally whipping your horse into a 360
How the hell would you do that accidently it's a deliberate button prompt

I liked it but unironically think Pathologic 2 is peak vidya kino.

Attached: 20190730012301_1.jpg (1920x1080, 139K)

that's the way it is.....

>unironically using boomer and zoomer

anyway I never had a problem with the horses in RDR2, dunno what's wrong with them. although I am confused on galloping. I thought I made it so that it's tap rather than hold but it felt like holding maintains speed than tap

I love Arthur, i love John, and i'm still sad that they are fucking dead

>kino
fitting considering it's a movie game

because you still need to aim and drive the horse

I mostly ignored RDR2 threads back then, did Yea Forums make a big uproar on Lenny and Charles?

they did, too bad fireden is dead

they didn't

they did but not in the way you'd expect, Yea Forums were defending them because shitaku made some retarded post about their race

shut up retard

shut up retard

>Yea Forums complains about Lenny because of muh historical accuracy
>Turns out black cowboys were a very real thing
>Yea Forums starts complaining about the gang not being racist enough towards him because according to some people here, literally everyone in the wild west was racist

>hurr durr im retarded

i know :)

one thing that actually was weird was how micah wasn't more of a racist

>RAAAAAAARGHH WTF WHY ARTHUR DIDN'T SAY NIGGER WHITE GENOCIDE?!?!????

WHITE
GENOCIDE

shut up retard

what?

you heard it here first!

I don't get it. are you trying to say that I'm the one implying that? like in

I think this game sucks even from a cinematic perspective. The missions in GTAV were much cooler spectacles.

So did they really downgrade the graphics cause I remember it looking sharper on my PS4 pro like at the beginning of the year

Yes.

Attached: 71Qjw861f0L._SY679_.jpg (450x679, 74K)

Oh and I feel like arthur doesn’t look as good either

>the online is fucking dead

I love the story, characters, open world gameplaty (especially the immersive stuff like needing to eat every once in a while), and combat in this game but Rockstar's mission design is so fucking annoying that I have to remind myself to turn my brain off whenever I play a story mission

I'm playing GTAV right now and nah
