As dumb as the pronoun thing can be, it is it really such a problem to use a genderless pronoun to refer to a robot? Unless they have distinctly male/female physical/vocal traits, it actually makes more sense for them to be neither.

He is distinctly male in terms of voice and physique and everybody I've ever seen talk about him assumes he is male. Robots with personalities have all had genders in this series and in most series I can think of desu. It's just weird and pointless for them to insist on a robot being genderless for politically correct reasons.
