It should be in NG+ or NG++. I'm in my second playthrough shortly after the timeskip and my Byleth has 1 A+, 3 A's, 1 B+, 2 B's, 2 C+ and the other 2 are still E+. If you grind the first few levels with teachers and buy the rest with renown, you can get quite a lot out of it.

If it was up to me you could inherit a big pot of skill exp from your previous house units and then dump that into your new ones, which would let you skip motivation farming/instruction sessions/seminars/aux battles/explore etc.
Also being able to insta recruit old members from the other house would be a nice bonus as well, so you could see more supports as you played on.

This is honestly the reason they needed s supports with other units. Half the pairs I tried to make went with different people. The disconnect from romantic A supports was also an issue, especially when Chadhardt proposed to like 3 different girls in his A ranks.

Is there any weight in A+ supports? My Ingrid had 2 A supports with Sylvain but he got stolen by Mercedes in the end, Ingrid got Ashe after some gibberrish about books

the support points keep growing even after they hit A rank, I believe you can figure out who their highest support is if you look at the close allies tab so you can have the opportunity to fix them if you're starting to go off course.

It's the lore route. It's meant to explain better the plot points that are brushed aside on the other routes or complement the information with other viewpoints. I only finished BL so far, but that one mainly focus on the personal aspect of the story. I imagine BE should be a middle of the road routewise.

Only played BL, all of them were pretty good, but Felix took the cake. An interesting riff on the Navarre archetype by making him a noble rather than a wandering mercenary. His supports are excellent too, and they kept the adorable trait of being soft on women.

Starting BE, characters aren’t hitting me as hard but Hubert is entertaining for just being a million times more ghastly than any other playable FE character in the series.

I enjoyed him most for the parts that weren’t about women, like his support with Annette where he solves her homework for free and proves that he’s literally pretending to be retarded all along.
He’s still humble about it though and says “types like me usually get exposed for it eventually” which shows an additional level of self awareness that genuinely surprised me.

The Dimitri and Dedue ending is pure kino. I think it’s fitting that Dimitri married someone outside of the monastery. It would help him return to normalcy.

As for beasts, those are a result of crest stones, which are the hearts of dead dragon people. Crests are a result of humans having blood transfusions from those dragon people. Most of the noble houses via the Ten Elites having taken that blood via force after killing everyone at Zanado, and blood from Serios and the Saints having been given willingly to members of the army that fought against Nemesis and the Elites in the intro movie

How do you even lose people on that map? Just bolt to the left and fortify when needed. After that put Dedue to hold the stairs south, Dimitri on top of Edeltard and Byleth behind him. Easy clear.

I'd say yes. I'm playing it now to finish the lore stuff. After that a few weeks of rest and then dab on Edeltard on the church route and I'm done with the game.

Dunno why, but Edel only targeted Dimitri when I did that mission, and had 0% to hit every time.

On the other hand the Church route is almost the same as GD, even after the time skip, so don't play them back to back. I would do GD next and then BE
