Why is this supposed to be bad again.
All I remember constantly hearing was "there's no stealthkills" which doesn't sound like a big deal.

That's because the first run intentionally has you be absolute dogshit so you can't kill worth a damn. You gotta do NG+ to actually do shit.

Yeah see, that would be fine and all, except not only does the game have forced combat wave survival sections as mandatory plot, but to get a good ending you have to save civvies. And the civvies are designed to run straight into enemy patrols so that you're forced to fight or kill the enemies ahead of time. Stealth is just a means to survive longer, combat is still the crux to the point that you face a very human final boss fight that soaks up damage and everything.

Some of those reviews seem suspicious

to kill an enemy without expending ammo, you have to basically smack them with a pipe and perform a finisher, but they don't die from the finisher and will just get back up and shoot you, so you have to knock them over and do it again and again. or just slide into them and finisher over and over. also your melee weapons can break.

this is the same game where enemies can see you through walls, fall through the floor at random, and you can destroy tanks and wanzers with a lead pipe.

Seems legit. Some games that people actually give a shit about don't even get nearly as many ratings.

It's because the enemy soldiers might as well be replaced with gun turrets. Almost non-stop gunfire that magically always hits you if you are out of cover, with situations that throw multiple soldiers in front of your path.

Square Enix is obviously using bots. Yea Forums sees a lot of traffic and I have never seen anyone thrilled to play this garbage.

If you would slap Kojima on the cover, people would have loved it

Kojima promoting a Konami game post "firing" would tip people off to the ruse.

Gotta say, playing it for "free" on Xbox and its fun as hell. Not to mention it's got a lot of unexpected fan service.

I played it, I even have the $300 fucking mech edition. it is mechanically broken, has horrible voice acting and just doesn't work.

All the MGS2, 3, and 4 events? Rex, Ray, and Shagohod showing up in salvage missions as "tactical weapons"? the outfits you get? It's fucking awesome dude.
