You become a permanent resident of a video game town of your choosing. You may venture out into the rest of the world but 95% of your sleeping must be done at your new address.

If 95% of your sleeping has to be done in that town then you still have 18.5 days in a year that you can be on vacation sleeping in a hotel or an inn elsewhere (Using our calendar anyways).

I think the 95% is meant to be a rough estimate, like "You can stay outside of here but it's a significant expense on your budget" thing. Some years more or less but this is where you'll inevitably return because it's where your home and job are.

Do you automatically become friends with the residents of what you pick? I want a pallid long necked undead GF and I am unironically willing to live in the Dark Souls universe to do it.

With your wife Jasmine?

Nothing wrong with that. Internet, TV, Phones, Modern Medicine, Familiarity, etc. It's the boring answer, but it's a realistic one. You could just get right to living your life in a beautiful small town.

That being said I choose Chorrol from Oblivion. Mages Guild in the city walls. Cute argonian librarians. Civilized, but still has a touch of the wilderness. I'd most likely be a student of the mages guild and spend time when I'm not studying by helping out locals with goblin problems or doing some light farming.

Frank's adventure 4 to be sure.

Are there any vidya towns near a lake/beach?

Too many to name but better pick one that won't get destroyed or whose resident's nor local fauna won't fucking murder you in a matter of seconds.

Oh boy, this is gonna be fun

Windfall island, easily.

This was in my running list but the amount of threats to that town is worrying, especially when the result of any of those disasters could be you falling into the abyss, which given the unknown depths is a fate worse than death.

You'll be unable to fall asleep but you're still gonna feel the effects of not sleeping.

Limsa Lominsa from FF XIV. Port towns are always great and i'm gonna get me a roegadyn wife.

>someone tought that a village full of amazon brown bunnies would be a good idea.
They were right

Queens. If there's cars I'm sure there's some chance of electricity.
And Veniccio/Luna Labs can't be far, and if push comes to shove I could just get the Life Gem from Rando in exchange for getting him and La Saia back together in death...

As opposed to going into your favorite fantasy game and finding out that in reality they all stink, toothpaste isn't invested, soap isnt invented or its shit, etc.

theres not much to think about take a comfy pokemon town or hyrule

idk probably some game where i can learn to teleport or buy scrolls of teleport so i can teleport to sleep and then teleport to where i want to go when i wake up

Either the old camp

There is nothing bad about the world of pokémon

Yokosuka from Shenmue would be pretty comfy and it's based on a real place anyways.
youtube.com/watch?v=XruY72JamWc

Vale

In most adventure video games 18.5 days would go into travel alone.

kek, wonder where that image comes from

Not if the world has teleportation.

I'm going to sit in the comfy utopia of the federation in the star trek universe. I chill on any city in Risa because it's fucking paradise.

Easily Lindblum.

I guess some heavily modded minecraft city built by me, or built when i'm there

New Los Angeles in XCX

>In most adventure video games 18.5 days would go into travel alone.
Maybe if you lived in a large Medieval fantasy world like the Elder Scrolls or something, if I lived in, say, Pokemon or some other vaguely contemporary setting it would just be normal travel times.
The idea the OP was getting at I guess is that you're gonna be a normal resident of this world, not some adventurer, so you really shouldn't have a reason to leave your town for more than 18 days in a year anyways. It's like twice the vacation time you get with IRL jobs anyways.

Silent Hill

This.
That too!

Someone else on this board remembers Dark Cloud? Man, it's been a long time. Top tier choices though. Veniccio is peak living material, and according to the lore it never floods or anything like that, and you'll get access to super smart brain stones. Good choice overall.

Is the nurse pussy worth it user? I think yes.

I CAN'T HEAR YOU

My sims town full of milfs

Autism

comfy

the same but with full ATF modpack

Ardougne
>wealthy city with big market, zoo, inventor wizard

What pokemon game is that? Looks souless

came to this thread for this, best answer

Shibuya, from TWEWY. This way I get all the benefits of current modern life, I will be able to play and watch all the things that will come out in the future that I'm excited for. Plus when I die I'll have a shot at coming back to life.

Attached: Shibuya.png (1024x1024, 590K)

Dalaran. Its too comfy

Pretty much any MW town would be fine once you got a hold of Mark/Recall scrolls or the spells themselves, but Old Ebonheart is right between to Vivec and Almalxexia and has easy access to the rest of the mainland.

Attached: mI2iTcS.0.jpg (1200x800, 106K)

95% of your sleeping at your new address means you get more than 2 weeks away, that's more than enough since most people are never that often away from home even IRL. Except roasties maybe.

>Rabanastre

Any other answer is cancelled as of now.

Attached: Rabanastre2.jpg (1918x886, 419K)

Sumaru City

Other than the obvious choices like Star Wars or Pokemon or something, I feel like Zanarkand (dream or otherwise) would be pretty nice to live in.
Lots of neat stuff, the best goddamn sport ever, ridiculous fashion, magic and summoning.

Just die of old age before the war with Bevelle, or live a full life in the dream before it ends. Either works.

Beat me to it. Beautiful scenery, hanging out with Galka bros and smashing mithra butts. What's not to like?

Most of these places are from Japanese games, so the residents would most likely speak in Japanese.

Is the places from the translated versions.

So it's just like real life.

Even better, since you're in a fantasy world, plus 18 days vacation is more than I get with my job.

Based. Traverse Town's music is the literal definition of "home".

Do Americans really not get vacation? I get 7 weeks of vacation a year.

Just started a job a few months ago.
Won't get any vacation until I've been there two years.
It will be 14 days.

Midgar

The average American only gets 10 days vacation.
I personally only get 8, but that's because I work a shitty low skill job.

Paradise island from DOAX

New Vegas, assuming I was rich.

>I get 7 weeks of vacation a year.
Surely you're not allowed to actually take off 7 weeks off work every year? I can't imagine that would go over well and your boss would find reasons to fire your ass.
In America we're expected to and encouraged to take all our vacation days off though we get so very little time off.

Hope you enjoy your 6 buildings and 40 people to interact with, most of whom will say generic lines like "I heard someone entered the lucky 38 last night."

Yowyn

I don't take 7 weeks off at once but the amount of paid time off I get amounts to 7 weeks. My boss wouldn't be very happy if I took 7 weeks off at once as well.

Yikes. I was getting my vacation days right away.

How do you Americans tolerate that? No wonder there are mass shootings and everyone is fat and depressed.

Me, backstabbing you.

Attached: undead rogue.jpg (200x252, 8K)

No, I mean taking 7 weeks off in a year at all, every year no less. I have a hard time imagining a boss that is okay with their employees taking off 7 weeks every year, even if it's spread out.
We tolerate it because it's the norm and there's no alternative for us. I'd love 7 weeks off a year but it's just not a thing in America.

>teleportation
>intentionally killing yourself so a clone can be created at another location
Unless I'm stepping through a goddamn mage portal or some other hole in the fabric of space-time, there's no way I'm trusting quick travel shit in any universe.

Maybe you Americans should try and fix that. I'm pretty sure I'd kill myself if all I did was work. I like my job but not that much.

Attached: Pokemon-GSC-Johto-GoldenrodCity.png (656x736, 13K)

Los Santos, easy. GTAV version because they have smart phones.

probably the lack of available housing
