Is there no way to get in Yahota's pants?
Tell me about Seeger, does he just want an XR waifu?
Was Yngwar really just a >tfw no gf?

Should I betray Aegis and join the pirates?
These northern fags seem kind of soft and not very dominating to me since they get ther shit pushed in by some unga bungas with spears.
I just wonder if I'll miss out on a lot of interesting content.

Aegis, pirates, muties, savages; kill them all
Give the Ferryman the privacy he desires

I have no idea what joining the pirates is like, but I regret not doing that because their bases look cool in comparison to the Aegis camp

Doing a pure PSI with no dodge/armor. Any tips for energy shield frequencies? Double High to soak las/snipers, Double Low for melee rush, or 1High/1Low for a wide spread since my armor is shit?

>Is there no way to get in Yahota's pants
Is your name Chief Briggs?

this fanfic again, user theres nothing indicating that

I genocided the muties and natives, guess I'll join the pirates then.

How do I get through blistering shores without burning to death? Do I just have to time it right? Because that kinda sucks ass

b-but muh joke

I talked to Ezra and he just gave me a free battery randomly

what a nice dude

Always low/low on any build. Decent low/low shields always fully absorb energy, and no shield will ever save you from snipe. High frequency has absolutely no use.

Crossbowniggers are more of a problem than the rare snipernigger, Low/Low

where did yngwar go after he packs? will i ever see him again? :(

He's honestly kinda based in all his interactions, even if he's highly suspicious.

Thanks my dudes

>battery

enjoy your mutant aids user

?

looks like standard mutagen brand battery to me

He leaves some of his bath water for you near Glowing Canine.

Yeah just time the geysers
Or get heat resist up

Just wait until the next morning

Hehe

Oh, I just realised that the Glowing Canine might be the thing that collapsed the arch leading to Lemuria in the first place. When you read its description, it's said to be stuck between the statue and the cliff face as if it fell from above. Maybe the you-know-who found out about the shit at Abyssal station and decided to lead Biocorp to them by teleporting that thing in. And it just so happens to repel natives. And that shard probably fell off of it.

Maybe he's the 0.001% who just get eternal life like Wyatt

What do i specialize in on a tranquility build? Everything looks meh.

Attached: 1563821909730.jpg (1280x720, 90K)

The statue? I have no idea how to get to it, but it seems important so I figure I'll end up there eventually if I just keep going through the DLC

>What do i specialize in
Everything. Just don't take hypothermia, cryogenic induction, cerebral trauma and telekinetic undulation, they suck.
You can only get to it through pirate base.

If an area has two entry points, does it count as cheesing if you go in one point, kill a few, run away, and then go in the other entry?

>You can only get to it through pirate base.
Oh fug, I guess I really am going to have to genocide the pirates then

Daily reminder you always prepare for native assaults

Attached: Man surrounded by natives wanting to inject him with Space AIDs.jpg (1024x768, 311K)

>not bringing the fight to them after the first attack
Weak.

I did

Attached: Succ.jpg (1024x768, 185K)

One time I were en route to the base for a defense and I intercepted one of the native boats and naded it, pretty fun stuff.

>after the first attack
What if you take a Protectorate Cruiser and wipe them out before you even get recruited?

I meant specialization points. Apart from premeditation cooldown, nothing seems good.

Yes but we don't judge

So turns out, since it was my first time at the black sea, after stopping the very first native assault, I went to explore the seas, ignoring the first warehouse mission.
Wiped the outer villages on the north west, stopped because I got bored.
Did the warehouses quests.
As soon as I left, a second native invasion happened.

Me thinks that native assaults only happen AFTER you do the warehouse mission, before that nothing happens

Premeditation CD, LoC CD, psychostatic electricity duration. Everything else is meh, maybe max out psychostatic electricity crit bonus.

Is it confirmed that you need at least 9 (7+2) INT to get Philosophy III? Did anyone get it with 8?

Join us, we give loot and don't choke you for little more reason than suspicion.

How's Continuum Ripple? That looks super tempting.

>Tranquility
There's your problem

become the Ultimate Being

cryogenic induction is fun and surprisingly easy to pull off if you combo it with implosion

It's so stupid that he can even attempt to choke you. You can literally blow him and whole aegis in a few turns, but he can somehow choke you like a little bitch.

Hey, he apologized for that!

Best to take with Tranquility but it's incredibly underwhelming if you don't spec into it.

Oh wow, I guess that makes everything fine and dandy, huh?

> if you combo it with implosion
Just combo implosion with implosion, lmao. Then you can finish with anything and don't need a feat to do it.
This.

you cheeky devil

Implosion only works well once on a full health enemy for the most damage. Also, cyrogenic induction makes chill last longer which is great for halting melee enemies

whats a good build for a retard that thinks everything is hard

Tanner seems like a nice fella

>cryogenic induction
>cerebral trauma
These are actually great, though.

He's the least autistic but the most unknowable. Neat that he feels some amount of surprise if Gorsky bites it, though.

What's the matter can't handle a little oxidisation?

Fuck, i meant

All I know is he gives you a nice cosy private quarters at SGS with no real reason to. That's enough to follow him on whatever his grand plan is, simple as.

You need to know where the killing blow was delivered too
A certain Ferrytard might know

If implosion deals more than 50% hp per hit (enough to shatter), then it would also nearly kill the target because of being doubled by telekinetic proxy. The only scenario where it might actually be worth it is if you have Aimed Shot and cryo pistol to shatter without wasting implosion. Outside of that, chill length increase is irrelevant at an opportunity cost of a good feat.

Thinking about a passive crit psychosis nuker buid considering all that new psi cost reduction gear that has been added.

Attached: t.jpg (2290x1144, 949K)

I was getting low on psi even on Tranquility until the blue staff and advanced psi empathy. Don't you think psychosis will be a pain in the ass until then?

You need to get the sketch from Yngwar in order to identify the grave

Also helps if you listen to his story about the Ferryman killing their strongest warrior, so you know where to look

Was Jon the beautiful always in the game or is he a helper npc that was added? Kinda gives that vibe.

Autistic user, just autistic.

He has always been there.

The first implosion would break the ice before the second could shatter the enemy. There's not really that many other good psi feats.

Nah it will be fine, I played something similar before the expansion.
Just need the Psi Beetle Carapace tactical Vest and a good psi muffler headband ASAP.

Attached: Psi crit.webm (960x540, 2.8M)

I fucking hate how without incendiary nades, assaulting the natives becomes 200% harder
Fucking great, now I have to do a merchant run just to get magnesium podwer

Fuck, are you legit retarded? I'm telling you that if implosion is able to shatter the enemy, it would also leave them at least below 25% hp when doubled. You could then finish them with whatever, at roughly the same cost as the ice block. Without wasting a feat.

probably around 90

I feel like you should be able to fuck Ethan for free temporal teaching if you're a female character. He really gives me that kind of vibe, and it's weird that you can choose to train in your room or not for no real reason.

Waiting around a corner and punching them do death one map at a time worked for me just fine.
Breaking through their coast defense and disembarking was troublesome though.

You'd just be wasting AP and a psi cast that could be spent elsewhere.

Also, go fuck yourself.

styg is afraid of sex

Acid Pistol is too fun. So few enemies resist it, and Acid Binding with 200% damage over two turns is juicy.

It's trivial with Juice, and Juice costs 25 coins for 15 minutes of traveling.
And your workshops are next to one of the portals.

>casting implosion and a cheap finisher is more expensive than casting an iceblock that costs a gorillion psi and implosion
Ok, retard.

>Waiting around a corner and punching them do death one map at a time worked for me just fine.
As if it were that easy
The first Though Controler that comes Mental breakdowns me and casts 2 doppelgangers, which mind rape my shit

Yeah I have like 20 juices at hand
By the way, Honey Stalks gives Gyromitrin, same as Red Dream mushrooms

How do you get to the Nexus of Technology? Searched everything, found nothing. Is it further down the marsh?

>sell the acorn to Aran
>throw a toxic gas nade at his feet
>he disarms it but not soon enough to stop the first cloud forming
>very nearly dies from it, maybe 15% HP remaining
>throw another one at his feet
outplayed

Honey spores*

Premediation, hemopsychosis, and psi reduction make the AP and psi cost of the implosion+cyrostasis combo irrelevant.

theres a way around

go through the creeper caves immediately near it

You have to do a loopy trek through sticky webby smelly spider caves, I think you can walk to them from the closed entrance to the Nexus, just walk east

>you can't use the same things without the cryogenic induction
Imagine actually having such a dystrophic brain.

There is a hidden tunnel entrance under one of the hive deep in the marshes

Ha ha, very funny.
Yea thanks, I got that. But you need to have bone crank and I can't find it anywhere.

lol, good one brainlet

Tchort is Evolution.

Cyrostasis is costly as hell.

Tchort is a Faggot

kek

Your mom's a faggot, inbred.

Is Infused Hopper Leather worth using for the boosts or is it too weak?

Evolution is Tchort, brother

My female char got a free training in SGS.

It's a better Regalia if you dont care about the Str point

Attached: big ass block of cheese.png (257x250, 100K)

I'm really glad that at least someone acknowledges you breaking reality left and right.

Attached: 20190819213746_1.jpg (1920x1080, 154K)

Cave hopper leather itself is too low quality even when infused. You'll get more MP just making high quality tabi boots, unless you want the ability point. Idk about armor, probably lame too.

>breaking reality
>not learning to harness its rules in different ways
Do you even into psionics?

but you can. he gives you one "free" training.

>But you need to have bone crank and I can't find it anywhere.
It spawns somewhere randomly on the floor in the graveyard, it's in a different place for everyone

you hippity hop on some rocks.

Why are more than half the veteran feats complete shit?

>When someone's too pitiful to kill

Too bad nothing gives you psionic catalyst, you have to get it somewhere else.

Has anyone found a use for the broken-off spike yet?

What use could a chunk of carbonized pirate have?

No but Kimi sells psi mushrooms, which is handy at least

You can show it to Quentin and/or use it as a buttplug.

Doesn't he already give a freebie to female characters. Also feel like choosing your room implies sex.

pls respond

Good, I'm okay with spiders, not okay with crabs. They drain my battery supply in just a few encounters. And crabs are supposed to be weaker for some reason.

The way Dude described rift-walking, it sounded like you just take the wrong hole in the fabric of reality and rape your way through it. It's a bit different to psionics.

I hate how nobody in Foundry sells Magnesium podwer

>not walking around with 200 batteries
>not having another 400 on your jet ski

the weapon merchant sells magnesium grenades outright

How good is a cbow build?
How would I play early game and What should I focus first? Crafting? Caltrops or Bear Traps?

Don't wanna move at a snail's pace through the map.

Anyone got the picture explaining the shotgun types?

Oh, I didn't realize that was for females only. Can males choose to train in their room too, or is that part females only too?

>cbow build?
good job you saved that 0.1 second I hope you did something really productive in that time instead.

>How good is a cbow build?
Mediocre. Sneaky trap master the whole way.

Can't even imagine dealing with this shit without psi.

>regular shotguns can be fired for 20 AP, deal more damage per shot
>don't touch vagabond
>combat shotguns can be fired in bursts, but deal less damage per shot
>don't touch any of them

I can't remember what's up with this from my previous run, this is at the bottom of the mutie dungeon
Is this another perception check that Im missing?

Attached: nothing is biting.jpg (1445x901, 261K)

Which frame is 20 AP? They all look like 25

I finally did it, after 400 hours and probably around 50 restarts and builds i got past... the core city quests where you have to get the tunneler and steal the shield shipment. How far am i in the game now? I finally found a build i like and i'm at level 12, i'm finishing this fucking game.
>Mfw finding out how open the world is and just now learning there are faction quests in core city after not touching the civilian district

Shotgun and abuse corners. You can also cut some off with molotovs.

>Get hit head on with a mk III frag
>Does 20 damage total
I can't believe how radically different it is playing as a tin can

All frames, you need to use a forward grip.

>combat shotguns
>don't touch any of them
Why?

oh what the hell, thats rad, thanks user

Faggot is Tchort, m8

Is there a hidden "fuck you" stat where if you get good at the game it just completely decides to fuck you in the ass every time you play? Without lube of course.

So, what's the deal with the cuffed man and why does he want to kick me in the nuts so much?

Tyranny combat shotguns are great because they can combined with any AP boost reach 6th shell in 1 turn

Alternatively here's plasma grenade mkIII and thats not even with maxed out evasion

Attached: file.png (433x138, 123K)

>chain stun first and shoot first or die
>min maxing simulator
>playing blind without min max build is pure torture

False advertising. This game is horrible trash. It's like worst version of pre patched Pathfinder: Kingsmaker.

Attached: 1555014382116.png (1920x1080, 1.64M)

Why is there no spec option to reduce expose weakness' cooldown? It's the essential fister and knifer attack.

It's True Randomness derived from Stygian Entropy

Combat shotguns have all-around worse stats than regular ones and burst fire doesn't make up for it on its own. Most enemies aren't gonna be standing after taking a couple of shots of your trusty short tactical vindicator anyway.
If you want to use them, get Suppressive Fire and Opportunist, you'll actually get something out of bursting at fools. That's where combat shotguns become a bit more interesting.

>blah blah blah here's a picture of a couple of gay anime twinks
ok

Every crpg is min maxing simulator. You're not gonna invest in int as a warrior that would be extremely stupid, but for some reason everyone wants to max out everything in underrail and then they cry it doesnt work.

crabs take no damage from geysers

crabs lit ablaze and burnt to a crisp by molotovs and incendiary pistol

greentext

Underrail has this... recurring problem with earthquake accidents. It was an earthquake the revealed Lemuria to Biocorp. Another earthquake destroyed the West Wing. And an earthquake led to the entire main quest.

git gud fagget

Too bad Kingmaker is all that but worse, even in its current version, not to mention that Underrail doesn't kill your PC with memory leaks and isn't full of gamebreaking bugs years after release.

also bursting has a wider spread, so if you're killing groups of enemies a burst will hit more of them than shooting with your regular shotty

>Every crpg is min maxing simulator
Wrong. I can beat all of them without min maxing. Here you're forced to follow "meta" build unless you enjoy suffering.

well, there's a good reason for it, the entire thing was built near or directly ontop of a geological hotspot
good for thermal energy, bad for long term stability

There's an easy mode for casual players.

But you can't beat baldurs gate if you max out int on your fighters and strength on your mages. Therefore it's minmaxing. The difference is that in underrail you make your own class yourself.

>think im smart busting out the professor myself instead of negotiating and giving them a bit of weapons and shit
>now have to deal with native AND pirate attacks
>pirate attacks are actually difficult compared to a bunch of danish faggots throwing themselves at you

how do i make the attacks stop? killing the leader of the respective faction is enough?

Attached: yamero.jpg (500x486, 23K)

Why the fuck you didnt genocide them while rescuing professor.

G E N O C I D E

that feeling when I put some points into dodge and evasion and run infused siphoner leather, it feels so good, they can't hit me

bad example because maxing both and playing kensai/mage is the strongest build in the game

What are the best unique weapons/gear from the Black Sea? Thinking about what would be a good tool to direct my next build towards

wow wow wow wait a second maxing out on a few skills makes a build good? wow exactly like underrail

what about cheesing the game with an infinite lv 9 spell wild mage?

Depends where you go and what you face
It's like DC, there are too many things and enemies to just bring 1 or 2 things

kensai/mage is like the definition of min maxing.

>How far am i in the game now?
1/3

Tesla Armor is probably the best armour overall

Then you get further on higher difficulty and realize just how godlike mobility is.

If only to give a big "Fuck you" to coil spiders and psi crabs.

grenadez

What are you even supposed to do against coil spiders on dominating? Just drop all your electronics before fighting?

talking about big FU's
CAU armor combined with biohazard boots gives you 100% acid resist

Hm, then maybe I'll roll with Infused Great Siphoner armor and actually get some resists since I'm a squishy psi sniper.

The same thing you do against any enemy on any difficulty if you arent a complete retard, you dont let them hit you once

Just don't get hit lmao

Based response honestly.

The best jetski is definitely the Devastator, right?

You dont need resists as a sniper though go for infused hopper and enjoy your absurd mobility

literally throw a grenade at my feet, have a shield with over 1000 energy, take no damage

only thing tin cans are good for is against snipers

Is sniper build with no Psi viable late game?

Is there any way you can set it so moving ONLY uses movement points?

Yeah but you take a shield damage. I can save my 2k shield for when I get hit 1/20 times.

>tesla armor makes you immune to coil spiders, including emp burst
>immune to psi crabs
>immune to motherfucking unga bunga ghosts
>still get oneshot by a MK1 EMP thrown by a hobo

>only thing tin cans are good for is against snipers
This, and it's fucking worth it. Making a tin can build after clearing the game with tactical vest.

if you're going for squishy psi sniper why not go for infused heartbreaker for the extra initiative?

>weekday
>thread starts going hyperfast
I'm ok with this.

It's kind of strange that the most active underrail discussion literally anywhere on the internet is these threads. They are pretty comfy though.

>only thing tin cans are good for is against snipers
t. never played as a tin can before

But that is exactly what I said

>not killing them all, starting with their leader after he demands a shitload of supplies like the faggot he is

Is there another way to befriend him?

You live by the unga, you die by the bunga.

I guess you're right, no matter what I'll still be a glass cannon.

I don't really need more initiative since I start combat from stealth, and +1 or +2 Agility gives you initiative as well.

>No rathound regalia
Go get it then. Is your character too dumb to shout "Allahu akbar" together with Yngwar or something?

crabs

That's not a satisfactory answer.
Guess my peaceful, gentle nature doesnt mix well with his warrior nature.

Welp
Guess I have to find which trader I sold the regalia

You can clash with him if you have high melee. I did.

>hammer "wizard"
>3 IN
ho ho ho

>I sold the regalia
You sold a rare item
I am severely triggered

He is a worthy opponent, no psi, just hammer vs spear
Hammer won

Regardless, I will try to get the regalia for him

Attached: 20190819171317_1.jpg (1024x768, 144K)

you can get like 80 intimidation from gear alone

I always sell regalia. Havent made a build yet that would benefit from having it. Same with most uniqe items.

>Styg finally made fishing less insufferable
Awshit man, I can't believe it.

>not keeping it for +1str hauling purposes
user what are you doing aaaaa

Pretty sure unique items stay in the inventory of whom you sold it to.

What user was trying to say is that you could have grabbed a spear and challenged him to a duel, since you already have the melee skill for it.

but if you sell your unique items
What do you put in the "unique items" loot pile?

Batteries

>Doing burrower mission at Camp Hathor
>Always underestimate how much shotgun ammo I need, so I leave after clearing out the first two rooms to stock up
>They fucking respawned when I get back
Fuck that.

I really don't think the precision percentages shown are right. Like it's not properly accounting for evasion or light or something. I've missed so many 90/95% attacks, many times back to back, that's it not even funny.

I'd understanding it happening every once in a while but it's happening like once or twice every other fight.

I had no such dialog option, that or I'm a brainlet

Attached: 20190819172048_1.jpg (1024x768, 188K)

They breed fast

Dont worry about it just reload.

how long does it take for creatures to respawn? also whats the upper quality limit for greater siphoner skin?

Well did you have a spear?
To be fair though, with 3 INT you won't be getting much out of this friendship.

bout tree fiddy

not doing the burrower mission actually gives a funny ending slide

Psi. You struggle a bit early game, but once you gain a few levels and can get ahold of the really crazy ass powers, it's all good from there.

Just get a shitty spear and fight him. Not sure how you're gonna continue the dialogue after that, you have 3 INT. Could use a hypercerebrix maybe. You can get it from Savage for a cigar.

How do i save the train for rail corssing from the suicide bomber? I feel like a fucking brainlet trying to defuse this thing, i save scummed and tried every option leading me to believe there's some clues around that i haven't found, maybe an item that i need.

you can get a 130 from the tribal camp, I found this out after infusing an 80 quality, thankfully infusion doesn't really bring up the quality of good leathers as much as the shit tier ones

Remove loose side panel
Inspect the switches [Traps] Flip the second switch
Inspect the battery [Traps] Attempt to remove the battery
Inspect the wires [Traps] Cut the black one

Let them keep the train if you want to join Free Drones. You need traps skill to know which cord to cut.

Technically you don't, unless it doesn't spawn UNLESS you've been told. But doing it without knowing is probably just being retarded with how often you'd have to check, run out, and run back in.

>joining the soon-to-be-gassed idiots

What? Just tell them to fuck off and they do that.

>get entangled
>enemies can hit you
>you can't hit them because you'd have to move a micrometer
>even if they're literally in melee range

FIX THIS CRAP

Tell them that they're stupid and their plans are stupid. Surely you've invested into persuasion... right?

They would just walk behind the corner at the end of their turn anyway. Get escape artist if you don't want enemies to make proper use of entanglement.

Microsoft Xna Framework.
Hahahahahahahaha How The Fuck Is Mental Breakdown Real Hahahaha Nigga Just Use Locus Of Control Like Nigga Close Your Eyes Haha

you keep it for the +1 str to haul shit and it doubles as a good stealth chest, if you pair it with some decent black cloth tabis and balaclava + cloak generator you can do almost all things that require stealth without placing a single skill point on it

without traps skills then there is some clues that help you, first you open the panel, then you check the back of the board and you will see 2 black dots, you flick the second switch and remove the battery, finally cut the black wire

not really specific

also, it keeps crashing

Fellas where is the Grey Army Spec Ops armor? I checked the armory and the whole top floor and didn't find it. Do you have to make the spec ops guys spawn like you do with the CAU or is it actually just lying around somewhere?

You need to slaughter all slavbros in cold blood and live with nightmares of what you've done.

I didnt check the whole base but I looted a couple off some spec ops corpses

on dominating they're just chilling around but on normal you gotta sound the alarm

the only thing that gives me nightmares is the free drones' gassing for some reason

you'd think tchort, the void beings, and peering into the void would be more horrific but nooo

Should I have taken the healing feat?

Any tips on a firearm pistol build? I was playing a pure unarmed but I'm being filtered by expedition. I'm thinking if I cheese wyatt and get his pistol I'll be good for half the game.

How much effective mechanics does one need to craft ~q150 metal armor with x3 reinforcement?
Why would you even gas them? It's just a dozen of hobos and a dog.

regen vest and the fast metabolism is your hero for all your healing

less risky and costly than a full-blown assault

Well shit, any tips for mass murdering serbs?
I cleared the top floor by luring them to the bathroom and napalm bombing the entrance but it was still kinda close.

Big Mac, little cock, classing playing bitch?

Is unarmored sledgehammer viable? NPCs do it but NPCs are designed to blow their load and die to do as much damage as possible to you.

>third time something happens
>suddenly

>How much effective mechanics does one need to craft ~q150 metal armor with x3 reinforcement?
Nevermind, found the answer myself. All metal armor enhancements increase the total requirement by 10% of their own.

Here's what I did. There's that small room next to stairs with only 2 doors to it. You plant like dozen traps around one door and close it and forget about it and throw like 5 caltrops and some traps in the way to the other door. You start the fight hide in the room and just pop out to throw nades at them.

Word is stealth sledge is cute. No idea how it would perform on DOM though.

And now he's dead
That was random

Why are you asking us instead of the devs?

i have no forum account and must play

newest windows update probably fucked things up

>windows update

If you gonna do a squishy hammer, you need to be highly mobile and have high dodge/evasion with some good CON
I wouldnt recommend, but go ahead and try

t. hammer wizard

buy the game it's like 10 bucks

i can't stop microsoft from forcing their shit down my throat and ramming their new "features" up my ass

So stop downloading updates. I finally learned to stop when windows update broke my internet card and it took me like 5 hours to find the issue and fix it.

I do have it, dumbass. For some reason it's crashing.

But you can. Tech-lets lmao

Yeah agreed if you want to go light armor it's better to go spears since you can throw them and save movement points to hide.
t. stealth spear unga bunga

What are some special areas to check out in Core City for oddities?

how do i do that? how do I prevent it from updating every time i try to turn off my pc?

Make one? Email them? Buy a plane ticket to Serbia and ask in person?

Idk, man, update center doesn't even exist on my OS and all microshit IPs are banned in hosts file.

I wanna do a random build, should I random everything from the start or do it every level up?

Heh, could be better

Attached: 20190819182242_1.jpg (1024x768, 225K)

I already tried spear and wasn't a huge fan (probably because my build sucked), and if I want to play a close-range tin can I already did a shotgun build, so I dunno man

Iridium, Ungoogled Chromium.

Well I managed to kill all the guys in the base. Now I just need to figure out a way to kill the spec ops guys without getting fucked by them.

Seems the only not shit option now. I mean I'm a normie who does no illegal shit and has very little social media presence, so I hope I fly under the radar.

I just dont see how it could work better than spears since with spears you can also one shot almost everyone if not everyone, but they allow you for higher mobility and blocking melee damage.

See, I personally would tank Dex to 3 and get 10 CON with Thick Skull and Conditioning, but not sure how that would affect you
Again, I always have played as a tin can, so I cant say much about a squishy hammer

I dunno what I did wrong but I was never really satisfied with spear's damage, and my throwing, despite being maxed, was always terrible. I didn't even tank dex or anything.

so Yngwar got enlightenment while I was talking to him and I told him it was okay to leave
did I screw up?

I'll have to check this out then. How friendly is this with addons?

They work.

can anyone do a quick guide to a spear throw build thats easy to beginners

6.66 Godmen bucks have been deposited in your account. And now that you are on a roll go and clean some toilets.

google FAQ steam underrail he has most caps for most shit

Click spear throw button I preferably set it up as 1 to 9 so I can't miss it.
Click on enemy
Watch as they die
Whip out another spear
Hide for one turn
Repeat

Opera.

I hope this solves all my problems. Thank you user!!

On a last note: A while back, I used an addon that turned video links (youtube, etc.) into hyperlinks and showed their titles, and allowed a small window in-browser to popup and play the video. Does this sound familiar to anyone and does anyone know a name?

It's pretty garbage stat-wise. Does it at least look cool?

It clearly hit you for 3 there.

Down to 9 Sec troopers left. Anyone know the coordinates where the tribal chief is?

One point that comes to mind right away is Arena. You can't progress without winning in it. You could probably run for the drill circuit board and do JKK quest line with stealth.
>not ending the expansion with 0, 27 or 30 troopers alive

statis with the +1 turn extension is pretty useful too.

3 die during kidnapping if you didn't wipe out pirates as soon as possible. Can't know about that beforehand without spoilers.

I'm serious. Im a newbie I need help

>Can't know about that beforehand without spoilers.
Nah, but you can prevent the kidnapping without knowing about it beforehand if you report the traitor to Briggs.

Yes. His whole culture needs to be wiped out to the last.

It's pretty mediocre for anyone but stealthy characters, who can craft better stuff by that point anyway.

At least it looks pretty cool.

Is that real? How would you even find out? The guy just gives text bubble talk.

is there a disadvantage to wielding a weapon with higher STR requirement than you have, if you're never going to use it (aka spirit staff)

No, he purges reptiloid corruption from him using the monolith and survives

Right. I don't have tailoring on this character so I'll take what I can get

I'm stuck at level 12, oddities don't scale and seems to be running thin in every major location. Wat do? Will i be collecting 1xp oddities the entire game with the occasional pity 2 or 3+?

>Pickpocket

We need more fucking skill points, I feel like I'm stuck committing 2-4 sets for crafting for most of the game, and then throwing and lockpicking basically require a dip, it's such a pain.

Did they make the monoliths, or did the monoliths make them?

Attached: psi monk 2.jpg (1916x1179, 1.01M)

newbro here, so if you steal stuff and aren't seen, it's just like you looted it pretty much?

Wish I could help but I only know about hammer magic

Visit the top of the Canine at the entrance to the Black Sea and you'll see.

cool build. How does it play bro? Never tried monk build

No it's exactly like skyrim where every npc in the game magically knows its stolen.

Styg and the other guys will be on vacation for three more weeks, so yeah. Sucks.

Oddities appear just fine. You can get to lvl 20 before touching arena, upper Underrail and expansion.

This. Reached core city at lvl 20 and went to expansion.

Yes.

Slap on your tabi boots, rev up your jackhammer, pick a direction and start exploring.

Oh god fucking dammit.

how do i actually advance the nexus of technology quest?
feels like i did everything in there already + got the new questlog entry about the ACoNR but the old one to investigate it for the professor wont complete

Interesting, wouldn't consider that on my own. What tier would you place this build in?

They made the monoliths. Monoliths are some kind of strange encrypted depots for storing shit.

>When the portraits of the native women are actually cute and beautiful
Welp
That's a shame

>tfw 18 before touching the Foundry, upper Underrail or the Black Sea
Paying back those ironhead zoners is gonna feel so good when I finally get around to solving Foundry's problems.

Talk to the computer that gives you co-ordinates to other facilities then report back to Oldfield with your results.

just so you know: boots made with a proper boot spring have higher movement speed than tabis

They are not. Leviathans are the true danger.

Finish the music puzzle

Speaking of, whose dick do I gotta dominate to get some proper boot springs? The best I've seen is around 40 quality from Harold and Travis.

Do movement speed even does anything? I thought only movement points matter

just because leviathans are bad, doesn't mean godmen aren't cunts

But my stealth.

I don't see any other force in the universe trying to wipe out the leviathans.

So spears only block melee attacks correct?

So how do you defend against ranged? Just a good tac vest/riot armor?

Constantine with 55 mercantile can sell up to q160 bootsprings as soon as you can get to him.

movement speed speeds you up out of combat
its kind of moot now that the speed button exists but it used to be practically mandatory to have spring boots and infused cavehopper leather

you can save the universe but still be a complete and utter cunt

>spent two days fiddling with build tool
Why can't I be normal?

Yeah tac and riot armor has a higher mechanical threshold against bullets

It's a game for autists that was made by autists.

Pretty good, you can breeze through most of the main game but it's a bit more difficult in the expansion because of the large hordes and amount of ranged enemies with trowing nets.
Early game before you get the claw is a bit rought aswell but psi is there to support you.

I got to carnifex at level 10. Did i git gud yet dad? I don't think it's even possible to beat him at level 12 right now though, i don't even want to try again until at least 15 so i can go into expedition.

Attached: snab.jpg (736x650, 103K)

more, 140 already matches sprint, 160 goes even further beyond

>implying I'd stay around long enough to be Aegis' beta bitch fetch dog

Anyone have ideas on what kind of helm and boots to use as a melee non tin can? Figure boots with springs, maybe metal so I dont have to worry about caltrops, maybe not, makes sense, but what about a helmet? Goggles don't seem to make sense but baclava if I'm not using stealth doesnt really either. But metal helms aren't really worth it for not tin can are they?

i think i should be looking on level 1 - administration and information

but i cant interact with any computer there, they all give different errors (turned off, glitching, zapping me, etc.)
save for one computer that just contains emails for the dumb music puzzle

lol how did you even bait them all over there?

You have to finish the puzzle to finish the quest

Pretty easy, you just activate combat and go in and go out before setting down a bunch of traps

To think I initially wasn't interested in crafting at all...

Attached: 1505177137019.jpg (398x393, 13K)

Seems normal to me.

Either night vision goggles with as much detection as you can or kevlar baklava. Not much else worth wearing.

We don't need more skill points, we need less skills. Electronics should probably just be folded into Hacking (or vice versa), and Lockpick should be folded into Traps. Intimidate should be just a possible option of Persuasion, as in, you can choose to Intimidate, or Persuade, and have different outcomes depending on which you do.

>Do movement speed even does anything?
It's your speed relative to others. For example stacking movement speed gear and Interloper can let you sneak at basically regular walking speed, meaning you'll be much harder to detect.

oh and infused cavehopper leather armor can ALSO go beyond sprint
combine the both and you have DOUBLE SPRINT
then add sprint onto it and you can further add movement increasing medicine and psychotemporal contraction for 4 sprints

The grey army spec ops helm seems like an ok compromise right? A little on the fence about the armor penatly though I guess.

i beat carnifex on level 10 (hard)

psi booster headbands or the +2% crit bandana from the pirates

also pickpocket should just be part of stealth

>I don't think it's even possible to beat him at level 12 right now though
You can literally one shot him at lvl 12 unless it's dominating.

unless I missed something there's no Kaiju Crab boss battle right?
missed opportunity

If all those suggestions were real you could softcap almost every skill, with high Int at least.

>implying I don't do that already, with high Int at least

>I beat Carnifex after retrying a dozen times until I got the better initiative roll
me every time

Does he dash across the map and stun you or something?

I'm sure he can kill some squishy builds first turn.

Hey guys. I just finished Depot A and turned in the Circuit board. I saw the cutscene, checked the shops and I am now ready to head out. Depot A was pretty annoying but definitely doable. I am playing an Unarmed character and was able to use molotov cocktails, bear traps, and frag mines to kite around most of the big mutants. Fancy Footwork saved my ass more times than I could count. Thanks to an user's suggestion I made some Leather armor with Acid resistance, the doggos weren't too bad either.

I just got several new quests, and the train is now usable again it seems. Should I head for the battery factory and the camp before doing the main story missions? I'm currently level 9. Overall the game is pretty fun, my only main complaint is that I feel like the game has too many extremely hard enemies right next to low level/story areas. Like if you go into the next area from some low level story area there will be 4 Raiders who crit you for like 80 damage and one shot you. Other than that I am having fun.

Attached: b1f.png (492x692, 649K)

Okay, what the fuck. I thought I got rid of it but I'm still suffering from its bullshit. Really inconsistent too. Google search says something like this popped up back in the early days with concussive shots, but I'm not rocking a shitty crossbow

seriously, what the hell

>raiders
you mean lunatics? or lurkers? They're kinda a soft invisible wall. Just there to tell you maybe you shouldn't go that way yet.

>kill every siphoner
>no siphoner leather
>kill every mutant dogs for 2 screens
>no mutant dog leather

I should just give up and accept my fate shouldnt I?

Okay here's the deal, there are A LOT of free oddities both in Foundry and Core City in dumpster ready to be looted, you will be able to gain a level or two by pure dumpster diving
Core City is where the game continues, with it's factions, Core Tech, Praetorian Security and JKK, specializing in technological stuff, heavy metal weaponry and leather/knife/stealthy stuff respectively
Foundry is Tin Can heaven, for you can get a lot of high quality metal from it
Camp Hathor, to the East past some blocking rocks, is the place of hunters, they sell animal leather, knifes, crossbows, all that stuff

I recommend you do some dumpster diving, then pay a gander to Camp Hathor and see if they have some quality leathers for you, Quinton inventory also should be upgraded.
Definely you can invest into a Tactical vest, for Burrowers will be a pain in the ass

t. hammer wizard and psi monk

Nah, the bandits north of the wounded guy. Crossbow asshole has shock bolts

Wouldn't be a bad thing, to be honest.

Ah those guys, you should've killed them before going to junkyard. If you struggle with them after depot A then oh boy you gonna rage quit from lunatics.

>Should I head for the battery factory and the camp before doing the main story missions?
Sure, it's just puzzle without skillchecks guarded by a few rathounds.

Did ANYONE actually do the music puzzle without outside help?

I mean someone had to be the first and solve it to help others right? Personally I couldn't understand the explanation for this once some user explained to me what's going on it wasnt that bad.

It's explained in a really shitty way in-game.

Yeah. It was fun.

I assume Shooting Spree and Limited Temporal Increment work together, right? So you could technically use Aimed Shot two turns in a row.

Thanks for the tips, anons. I'll take them into consideration. I am counting down the days until I can get combo so my ~12 punches a round are worth something.

some of the alpha testers did, I believe

You could use it twice a turn if you can get enough shots off

>some fucking music related shit that makes me want to puke before even trying to make sense of it
>fuckload of text you'd need to write down
Even typing the shit into the solver app was way more effort than I'd want to spend on getting that fart gun.

Shit, you're right. For some reason I was only thinking in terms of your 50 base AP but with drugs.. whew boy. I'm going to have to add it to my build.

>alpha testers
I just realized how hardcore those people must be, goddamn.

Abusing molotovs and sniping him isn't playing the game user

well
the devs are serbs, and a lot of the testers are slavs as well, so they probably had an easier time understanding how the puzzle is explained

Am I supposed to talk to the savages in Expedition? Ive sort of ignored them and now that I have stuff to do in the north I find myself slaughtering them while looking for Lemurian facilities, their villages really dont seem like they are set up to be "cleared" like Port Ceto is, so I'm thinking I missed an opportunity to peacefully deal with them.

No, they are beyond help. The best you can do for them is end their miserable lives.

>talk to the savages
dummy dum dum

There are only a few named natives that you can interact with.

>hardcore
Just a bunch of faggots who happen to shitpost where Styg can see them.

Yeah but got it wrong on paper the first time and ended up writing a program to solve it

there is no peace option as far as anybody knows
I don't think you can even talk to them outside of one particular guy

Wipe out all those who reject the message of Tchort

Is there any way to increase melee crit chance?
There are so many feats that increase crit bonus damage and machete in particular seems to be asking for crit builds but I'm level 14 and my crit chance is 13% even though I'm maxing dex.
Equipment doesn't seem to feature crit chance stats either and the only melee weapon that seems to get an equivalent to aimed shot is spear.

Attached: 1536517342502-0.jpg (500x500, 18K)

How fun is the crossbow/trapper archetype?

Thats good to know, its just so awkward moving around the villages because of the instant combat after every transition (and auto negative 10 initiative roll, thanks styg). I really do fucking hate them.

I can name at least 2.

Focus stim alone gives 15%. Only requires 50 effective biology, and chemicals required to make it are fucking everywhere.

How do you get up there? I couldn't figure it out. Is it accessed via the pirates or something?

>being this autistic

Is it worth using ninja tabis with spears? Doesn't seem you can hit a 3 swing a turn breakpoint without boosters, so I don't think its worth it over spring boots.
