Well at the end of the day it's a Jojo fan game, so the more you know/like the series the more you'll get out of it.

Besides that however it's somewhat straight forward, if a bit rough at times.
There's three ranges, Short, Medium and Long, and generally speaking attacks aiming for that range are more effective. The beginning has some bookshelves and sometimes people to guide you if you're having trouble.

Part 6 guy here. I really have no idea about the part 5 guys, we had a guy who didn't stay that said that he was a member of their team but idk if that was bullshit. Though he was the first to show that picture of lucas with the arrow as shovel.
For us we're still planning, we nearly have all the stands we wanted. I wrote the story very generally and I'm going to start putting the stands in-game and do some scripting to make the combat how we want.
We really need people who can make sprites though. The ones we have don't seems to have much time to work on it. Besides this everything's going well.

Not chaosanon, but he got done with Japan, and i'd think that he's getting done with Hong Kong and maybe the Charter Ship.

The only things Adam Ant gets is some flavor text with Kate (Green Hornets), Faith (Fireflies), and the Sun fight.
All he gets is flavor text. No new moves. Nothing.

A lot of it comes from grinding and cutscences and exploring, but by taking most of those away with King Crimson mode and knowing where to go and what to do, and that most everyone's level carries over in new playthroughs, i'd say it would take a couple of hours.

Look bottom line, the 7th Stand User is very long, but it gets shorter the more you play it.
It might take a couple of days to beat.

Not really. A lot of anime-onlys continue to the manga with no problems.
Part 5 is the most detached from the other parts, its story doesn't really matter in the main joestar storyline. Part 5 does have interesting information like the origin of the arrows and how DIO and Enya got their arrows and how DIO is having kids but it's not like you needed to know that. Part 5 is still good though, it has really amazing fights, don't skip.
Also don't read Part 6 with the mindset of wanting to reach Part 7 faster.

Fixed an issue with mismatched tile positions, you can sleep in the piano to recover a little bit of hp, and also recover about 10 points of sickness if your character has weak constitution.

It's because that pulls from the Joestartroupe char file which has the sprite Holly uses for that scenario as Iggy. I changed it to Up for the color version. If Chaos user is around he should note that down and change it for future versions since that's something that occurs because of the sprite sheet changes Clayman did.

Think about it, you can make the characters move everywhere, separate the stand from the user like in hftf and do all kind of cool shit.
