>Talentless hack plasters his name all over the work of entire teams
>Sabatoges company and encourages shit like Lords of Shadow getting made because westaboo retard like Inafune
>About to have his new game come out as trash while Konami makes Metal Gear games again.
He inspired me to take a fat shit and call it kojumbo.
Why exactly is he so revered?
>he likes Cringejima and Yoka Shatro
Not surprising. Both make perverted games with ridiculous pointless plots that have just the right amount of pretentiousness so that sad retards can pretend they are profound. They are, in fact, not profound in the slightest.
>Yoka Shatro
That's awful and you should feel bad.
>inspirational
Not really, no. You just have shit taste.

>Lords of Shadow
would have benn made with or without him

Iga, Sakaguchi before Mistwalker, Matsuno, Takahashi, if you were asking japs, Yuji Horii would also murder them.

Shinji Mikami

Yeah, I wrote the Kojima one but had nothing on Taro so I made one up in a second. It is terrible I know.
Kojimbo is a hack. Hideo is the good one.
Because his games have kino stories and settings that combe anime, Hollywood and Tom Clancy tropes with writing good enough that you can take it all seriously. Kojima also has a knack for cinematography so all his games turn out really good visually. The characters he makes with Yoji Shinkawa are second to none in terms of aesthetics, originality and purposefulness. The gameplay isn't as complicated as other stealth games yet it's a much more memorable experience because the story and world is actually compelling compared to other stealth games.
his most recent game was soulless as fuck though
but the writing in V is laughably bad
Sure senpai
Not him but only brainlets think that.
Its obviously unifinished but the quality of writing is unparalleled.
Previous MGS games and characters, while still being great, were mostly one/two-dimensional comic book heroes and villains. V goes far and beyond to have the most human characterizations in all the franchise and even for games in general.
Scenes like Huey on the boat wouldve been impossible in other games.
>Not him but
>V goes far and beyond to have the most human characterizations in all the franchise and even for games in general
Kojimadrones are fucking delusional.
>kojimafags
Overall it's about the same level of quality as the rest of the series, which isn't really saying much. Some good stuff and some ridiculously stupid shit like all the other games.
>kino stories
>with writing good enough that you can take it all seriously
Having insanely low standards must be fun
>with writing good enough that you can take it all seriously
Metal Gear is my favorite series because it's completely wacky and silly while acting like it's serious. It's 80's action films levels of writing. V tried to be "dark and realistic" but it had the dumbest plot of the entire franchise. You need to watch more than anime, user. It's warped your perception of story telling.
t.seething idiot
>writing is unparalleled.
>Vocal chord parasites
>She dresses slutty because she breathes through her skin
>Villain's evil plan is to destroy the English language
My dude, read some books and watch more movies. You're actually embarrassing.
>t's 80's action films levels of writing
It really isn't and you're a fucking moron if you actually believe that simply due to the exterior of the games' settings and plots
Pixel
Explain how?

Kojima games always have a fuckton of technology and feel amazing to control, it's gonna be funny to compare death stranding to horizon zero dawn in that regard.
Daisuke Amaya.
He made good games in the 90s. Retards who don't know any better think nothing's changed.
Having shit taste must suck. I've seen all the greatest movies and read the greatest books but MGS remains one of the best experiences I've had across any medium. It's simply fun.
what did he inspire?
Hironobu Sakaguchi. Not only is the franchise he started still a dominant force 20 years after he was pushed out but that's despite it going to shit pretty much immediately after he left. Nearly every JRPG since FF has been chasing FF. Indies try to be it at its prime, and the man went on to top FF in quality with his own studio by not falling into the trap of flashy sparks and flipping around in combat but focused on story and characters. He was so good at what he does that the talent followed him. He even made one of the only decent phone games.
But this being a board full of children you'd rather argue about Nomura than acknowledge Sakaguchi was, is, and will always be better. He even preemptively blocked bullshit about FF by making what many consider the best game of all time, Chrono Trigger.
movie games
I fucking wish the kojima hate meme never happened. We can’t have metal gear threads at all because of you fucking children. I just want to talk about an over the top espionage action game damn it.
This, but unironically.
This
I can't. Every time I beat MGS2 I'm inspired, and the entire series is just awesome.
>Big boss salute
It really doesn't feel like jrpgs try to chase FF though.
That explicitly is a westaboo?
