I hate to say it but video games are a fucking waste of time I spent thousands of hours on video games while I could have been spending those hours on actual hobbies. In the past couple of days I stopped playing video games and already feel so much better, but I cant get rid of this notion that I already spent so much time that it would be a loss to quit now. How do I just take the loss?

Sell them to me
this. I'll take your 3ds games user
no I was here first fuck off
Stop playing multiplayer games or stop taking it all so seriously
It helps
I'll buy your games :)
Dont listen to this chump, OP. Give me the games.
Just wait until you start working full time and commuting for the rest of your life. Youre gonna wish you had more time to waste on those pointless things you enjoy in life instead of those pointless things you hate.
just dont play games that are designed to sucker you along with cheap replay value
stop playing moba shit
Stop playing shitty games nigger
>actual hobbies
oh its just cringy bait
I recently got a job, and getting away from videogames most of the day also made me feel better. But I feel like that 'feeling better' is just being someone I hated while I was a neet. I really want to go back to being able to play everything I wanted at any time.
They're not a waste of time, just as books, movies, paintings and shit.
The reason you feel that they're a waste of time is because that's all you did.
Do you guys think over people with lonely hobbies like reading books feel this way?
>holy fuck no one even cares about these books but me. None of my friends wanna talk about the book im reading. people who also read books are boring to talk to.
Time you enjoyed isn't time you wasted.
>sunk cost fallacy
>Time you enjoyed isn't time you wasted
Understand both of these fallacies and then move on. Especially the second because there *are* hobbies that you will not only enjoy as much as video games but will leave you feeling fulfilled.
Wow you guys want to buy my games, I'm honestly down to remove the temptation. My stream name is Yeu5dj6f95cour and I'm the account with the black guy and 1k hours in csgo add me to buy.
how the fuck is "Time you enjoyed isn't time you wasted" a fallacy
A. You can easily waste time by enjoying some shitty pastime by being ignorant of an even more enjoyable one
B. Enjoying your time now can easily mean being miserable later if you're not also setting yourself up for the future
>Enjoying your time now can easily mean being miserable later if you're not also setting yourself up for the future
Yeah anything taken to the extreme is bad. Has nothing to do with enjoying yourself being bad.
No there *arent*
I checked
If anyone wants to buy my account I'll sell of like 2 dolla steamcommunity.com
I love Gondola
>not having 2 hobbies
you're own fault for burning yourself out bro
And what have you checked so far?
I have more then 2 hobbies it's just that I spend to much time on games instead of doing something that leads to a better future like my piano playing or programming
My other hobby is furry erp
i beat off at least an hour a day for the past 20 years. you're really going to tell me that time enjoyed isn't time wasted? you're a fucking fool.
The fuck
time fapping is the most useful
why are you even posting? you should be fapping
Your piano playing will never earn you a better quality of life, you do it because you enjoy it. While the programming thing is astronomically stacked against you there is still a slim margin you could amount to creating something with resale value, but that's hardly a hobby as much as it is a job (and it will eventually become the job if some sort of tangible success is what you seek from it).
>rases dopamine to unhealthy levels
>lowers motivation
>fapping instead of having real sex
>not doing no fap like a chad
Your a fucking retard shit brain
Still better use of time then playing video games cause your gaining some kind of skill even if you cant monetize it it's still better time spent then frying your brain on video games
Man this thread and this other thread give me hope for the future of Yea Forums
based based BASED!
try only playing one game at a time, that way you get bored a bit faster and it might make you want to do somthing productive.
i also like occationally getting myself banned from here so that i dont just open Yea Forums and do nothing all day.
