I use a cross trainer for like 135 minutes per week and sit all day long for the rest of it. Never going to have the body of a greek god but even this much exercise makes me want to kill myself.
I did 25 pullups today. Guys more muscular than me can't do that much, and they don't even do it with full RoM

Don't negate this; I've been there and done the same thing: hurt my back and was forced to abandon the gym for 6 months; all progress (5years) was gone. Just start back slow, understand that exercising should be done for health/mental reasons first; looking good is just the benefit
I go to the Gym twice a week and try to tackle everything, generally takes me 2 hours or less to get everything done.
I know it's not optimal compared to going every other day, but shit I just hate that schedule. Two days off feels like enough time to let me be away from the Gym.

FYI muscle fibers are only hard when you're contracting your muscles. They're actually pretty bouncy and elastic when you're relaxed so the more muscles you have the flabbier your body will be.

If you start over again it will take way less to get fit again. I'm an ectomorph and it only takes me a week of lazyness to lose muscle, but I can also recover because apparently that's what muscle memory does.
