What's Sakura Tendency supposed to be?

Phantastic Pastel Pixel Tendency

What do you call that random loop of shit that plays in Osamu Sato's games, some of the more out there MOTHER pieces, and that music that Sam Hyde uses in transition bumps?

>Osamu Sato
Apparently his is "Experimental" music.

Whatever it is, I like it a lot. His style in general is superb, actually. His music video for Urban Dance's "Kiss Kiss" got me into the rest of Urban Dance, too. Kind of makes me wish that he and Shigesato Itoi and maybe some other music dudes from HAL got together and directed an RPG.

groovy

Electronic with no lyrics.

I've only played Eastern Mind so idk mate
I enjoyed it though.

Dated swing music or big band, like you'd find in Sam & Max or Fallout.

Depends on the game and setting. As long as it fits, I can listen to whatever.

I was about to say something like this, though I'm not sure how much of Guilty Gear's soundtracks are considered that genre. It's still hard rock, but some of the newer stuff isn't really metal.

That is to be expected, you and I have the same strength.

Depends on the mood.

Here's what that lad's been up to recently. There is a remix of the Eastern Mind theme in there, too.

I recently within the last year started to really listen to Daisuke's stuff and it's my favorite kind of rock. Inspiring lyrics with heavy riffs. Great stuff to work out too. I love finding clash videos.

I like music that fits my mood

Orchestra is usually boring as shit, particularly in the Dragon Quest games where orchestra and MIDI versions are lame.

Neat, thanks user
