PC is pretty dead in terms of operations now, unfortunately. Europe is the only place that consistently has people playing Operations as far as I can tell, and the playerbase is probably only going to thin out more over time. If you like Conquest then you should have no problem finding a game.

they did everything they could from keeping trench warfare out of a fucking WW1 game, a single Verdun map has as may trench lines as all of BF1. BF1, just like V, was a shit game overall. Considering that it plays the with the same pace of a Star Wars game it's impressive that it has any fans since those Star Wars games were so poorly received.
I still don't understand why sprinting is as fast as it is, infinite, and has no penalty (going from Sprint to ads is almost instantaneous). Everyone is always running around like horses, fuck cover, this is still Operation Metro where everyone just runs around past explosions expecting to survive out of luck and to do that kewl kill in the middle of all that sick action.

The majorit of WW1 combat was trench fights with guys beating the shit out of one another with shovels, and no I'm not memeing it wasn't uncommon for some outposts to be low on food and have little to no ammunition so that's how they fought.

Desu we didn't need BF4 either. They should have just given BF3 a graphics overhaul and release a map pack+DLC campaign.
This franchise would be in a better place.

Fun Tip:
BAR was called an Battle Rife since it had firing rate of a machine gun combined with accuracy of rifle and its magazine. It was meant to be fired on the move to the trench.
Battle rifles were literally prototype assault rifles, before they realized that useful weapons should be usable when not standing up.

BF1 would've been so damn much better if every class could take boltguns. They could've done what BF4 did with carbines, DMRs, and shotguns, and made ironsight boltguns multiclass while limiting scoped models to the sniper/scout/whatever they called it in BF1.

BF1 and V had the mold of star Wars with the new engine updates and stuff. In there a leap was noticeable, the problem was that they tried a mold that would fit Star Wars and WW1. Generic shooters, two franchises to the shitter

Just the movement animations? The vehicle physics, the gun handling, the view models, it all feels the same. There's a few tweaks here and there but not enough to feel like an entirely new entry, just a different setting. If there was an actual jump besides graphics from Frostbite 2 to 3 i didn't notice shit. How do people not get tired of this after 8 years? You used to shit on COD, with good reason, for always releasing the same game and now look at BF. At least COD actually got a new feel now thanks to the new engine. Now it looks and plays differently. They also finally got rid of those shitty 2D-looking gun view models, now they actually look like their part of the game. When will BF finally make their move? I want the jump from FB3 to 4 to make as much of a difference as 1 to 2 was.
